Great office You are treated like family…read more Office staff care about you. I enjoyed the treatment. I highly recommend this Dentist Very good with their people skills and they do their job. They do care and aren't in a hurry.

I want to start this by saying I came as a TRICARE referral as I am active duty Navy. I got in a…read morecar accident a while back and chipped my two front teeth, and got it filled by Navy Dentists. And most recently chipped my left front tooth. My referral was to get both my front teeth filled bc when I went to my Navy Dentist, I expressed concerns that my two front teeth were too short compared to what I had before I got in a car accident years ago. And I wanted to be able to rip a bag of chips open again with my front teeth. I know that may seem silly, but it's something that was important for me to have again. I told Ms Cluff the same thing about extending my teeth so they can touch my bottom teeth. This is all of maybe a couple millimeters. She told me my teeth are like that bc of my bite, and that bc of teeth grinding, it made it shorter. She also mentioned that I'm not in my 20s anymore and my teeth are different and she doesn't know why there is a referral to fill both teeth when I only chipped one. I tried to tell her multiple times that my top and bottom front teeth touched before and that's why my referral is for both teeth, and I'd like to fill my teeth so they touch like before. She continued to persuade me otherwise. I can understand on some level why she would, because she doesn't know my medical history, but as a patient I felt like I was not being heard. To the point where I considered just leaving. And right when that thought came, she said she would do it. I asked her to just do her best for my ask. She started to fill my teeth and it actually looked goofy at first but I was happy that my teeth were touching. She said it was before polishing it. So I trusted the process. Then she started polishing and started speaking Spanish to her assistant. Which made me uncomfortable bc it seemed like she was talking trash, given our previous interaction. Then she was done, and it seemed almost too quick? This is obviously compared to how long other dentists in the past would take to fill it. Then she said things like she's glad I'm happy with it and she hopes I don't crack it. Which I thought was weird but whatever I trusted that it is ok. I left and when I got home, I looked in the mirror and my right front tooth was noticeably larger than my left, also you could completely tell it was filled. Of the almost decade since my accident, the fillings I had were almost undetectable. I drove back to the office and saw Ms Ana to even out my teeth. She came in and said, "I told you" which I'm assuming is in reference to me wanting my teeth to touch. I told her I was there bc the right tooth was a lot bigger than the left and that I could feel the edges of the filling on the back of my teeth. She filed it down. She would show me the mirror, I'd tell her where I thought needed filing and then she would file and ask if it was good. When I would tell her where to file, she would audibly sigh, as if I am inconveniencing her. At this point I'm frustrated bc I'm telling a dentist how to even out my two front teeth. I told her I just want it natural looking and asked if it was even. She said "to me it is". I just had to get out of there bc it was evident that she did not care and just wanted to be done. Her staff was very nice and tried their best to make the experience good. However I think if you come here, and you sense that she is not in agreeance with what you would like your treatment plan to be, then leave. Because she WILL perform malicious compliance to your ask. Meaning you will get what you ask for but in the worse way possible bc it's not what she believes is right. I got my teeth to touch, but it looks plastered on and uneven. My right tooth is still bigger than my left. This is the first time in over a decade of having fillings done that it has been immediately noticeable, I can see what I can best describe as grooves in the filling. Thank God I have a referral to a different dentist to fix what was done. I do not recommend this dentist.

My review is specifically concerning the front office manager/receptionist Connie. The dentist and…read morehygienists are nice, I'd only been seen once and had future visits planned...but Connie is coarse, forgetful and unorganized. Lots of paperwork lost, misplaced charts, repeat calls for insurance information because her notes went missing etc. It is either age or disorganization, I don't know but it's no excuse for her rudeness. I had an appointment for a cleaning and contracted COVID. I left a message late one night to cancel my cleaning (9 days early) knowing I'd still be positive on cleaning day. I also spoke to Connie the next day personally and let her know I was sick with COVID and to cancel until I was clear. I gave as much warning as possible. On the day of my (canceled) appointment, Connie called and left a message on my phone chastising me for being a no show saying "the least you could've done was call us, not just be a no show. The doctor has a sensitive schedule and it would be nice if you were mindful of that." I immediately called and reminded her I'd canceled already by message and speaking to her because I had COVID and she abruptly turned nice and thanked me. She said she'd misplaced her notes! She forgets you've called or have left messages and then calls and yells at you. This review follows my second encounter with this issue. Suddenly I got a voicemail saying I was rather rude to not be returning calls and voicemails and it would be nice if I could return the message! She said "I've been calling you for weeks and need to know if you want this appointment tomorrow you asked for, but I guess I'm going to have to just keep leaving messages because you won't answer or call back!" Problem is...she had the wrong patient, she had not been calling me and I had not been requesting appointments early. She is confused or something and gets mad and becomes belittling and condescending toward people when the issue is actually her! I called after that message to cancel future appointments...I will not be going back. Another new client scared off by disrespect and disorganization. The office is old and sort of feels like going to your elderly grandparents house. It could use a make over and modernization. No effect on quality of care but a new look and a new receptionist would do wonders.

The office was very clean. The staff was friendly. I was greeted kindly too. The woman that took my X-rays was kind and responsive to my dental and health concerns. She also was very helpful to the dentist as they filed my chipped tooth. The dentist was straightforward and honest about my dental situation and very helpful when fixing a chipped tooth and recommending future dental care for my needs. I appreciate that! No unnecessary bells and whistles were thrown at me in the future plan either, but I felt if I would request more advice would be given. The hygienist was very gentle, friendly, and also recommended options for my situation as well. I was pleased that the staff was well versed in the billing codes for my insurance (DeltaCare) and was willing to explain what was listed so I understood. Since the hygienist was in-office this day, I was able to do X-rays, exam, and cleaning during the same visit--made me happy! I left the office feeling assured my teeth were good. My teeth felt exceptionally clean and smooth after the cleaning. I also didn't feel pressured to have to start the recommended care right away. I felt confident they would tell me if something was urgent to have done if it was. During my visit, I also observed how a difficult and jesting patient was being treated by the staff and Dentist. I was very impressed how kindly the Dentist and staff treated him. That alone helped my confidence in this office to improve. Thank you for a great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Two minutes later, the dentist came in and dismissed that completely, saying it was "just three cavities." I trusted them and had the fillings done. A week later, I went back for a deep cleaning. Within days, I developed one of the worst infections I've ever had. It peaked over the weekend, and I had to use Dr. On Demand just to get antibiotics until I could be seen Monday morning. I ended up at A+ Dentists, where they found a cracked tooth. The dentist there told me there's "no way they should have missed it," and explained that the deep cleaning likely pushed bacteria into the cracked tooth, causing the infection. I'm still dealing with pain, infection, missed work, and ongoing problems because this issue was overlooked from the beginning. The most frustrating part is that the X-ray tech appeared to recognize the problem immediately, but the dentist ignored it and pushed forward with fillings instead.
