We came here with pretty high expectations after hearing good things. I work near Redlands, so I was really hoping this could become a convenient go-to spot. I was here with my partner, who is Thai, and we're both very familiar with traditional Thai food--we've also been to Thailand multiple times. The food wasn't bad, but it just didn't hit the way we were hoping. The flavors felt more fusion than traditional, which just isn't really our thing when we're craving Thai food. We ordered the moo yang, and one of the pieces of pork had a big vein running straight through it, which was pretty off-putting and made it hard to eat. The Pad Thai was another miss for us--it had a really strong lemongrass flavor but was missing the tang of tamarind. The khao soi was another miss; instead of being a curry-based soup, it came out as a super thick, saucy noodle dish. Given all the hype, we left feeling kind of let down. To top it off, I ended up with a stomach ache later that night, which didn't help the overall experience. The This place might work for people who enjoy a more fusion-style take on Thai food, but if you're looking for something closer to traditional Thai flavors, it may not be the spot. read more

SO I have been to this place maybe 5 times so far AND if I lived closer I would've probably been there EVERY NIGHT so maybe it's a good thing I don't in fact live closer. This is a gem of a Thai restaurant. For vegetarians/vegans there are sooo many options all full of amazing flavor. Definitely would recommend the khao soi, basal stir fry and pad se ew. The drunken noodles were good but nothing out of the ordinary. The vibe here is fun, modern with a Thai street style and a cute rickshaw. It can get very loud on the weekends and very very busy but it was definitely worth the wait. They had a DJ playing this weekend so it can be a fun spot for the weekend. Cute ambiance and pleasant service! I was seated in the corner, where one seat was a booth and the opposite seat was a chair. I sat in the booth and noted that the table was lower than preferred. It was pretty uncomfortable by the end of the night, and I found myself slouching over a lot to eat so I recommend sitting at a regular table if you have the choice. The parking situation wasn't too bad on a weekday night. You can park in the lot nearby or even the shake shack, which is a 1 min walk away. The food itself was okay - I ordered the pad see ew with beef, which was flavorful. However, I have had better Thai food elsewhere but this was pretty good for Redlands. We happened to find this place through Yelp on our way back from the Palm Springs outlet stores. What a find! I've been meaning to visit for the last two years now, and finally went for dinner. It was a smaller venue than expected, yet had a welcoming and eclectic atmosphere. The strong amber lights definitely set a chill mood, but also made everything and everybody look super saturated, including the photos. We sat at the bar and a server kindly took drink our orders: the Sunee Spritz, (made of soursop vodka, chareau, peach, prosecco, and seltzer) and Nariphon's Tale (made of cachacha, gin, grapefruit, menthe, lime, guava, coconut, and mint). The latter was my favorite since it was reminiscent of a mint mojito and was refreshing paired with the food. I think the former had a creamier base and a stronger proof. The Khao Soi (curry noodle soup) was the most recommended dish, and I really enjoyed it even though it was saltier than I would prefer. I thought the richness of the broth would complement the tartness of the fermented mustard greens fried rice, but I personally thought they did not have a mutual understanding. I came here with my boyfriend to celebrate his brother-in-law's birthday, and I'm so glad his family are regulars because the staff is always incredibly sweet and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. This was my second visit, and both times the food has been more than satisfactory. Every time we go to Redlands, it excites me because I know we're in for a treat. We tried a few different dishes, and no matter what I order, they never disappoint. Everything is packed with flavor, especially this Thai chili in fish sauce that we always get on the side. My boyfriend and his brother-in-law sometimes take a shot of it, and I'm always tempted to join in because it's just that good. The wait for the food this last time was a bit long, but we had an enormous party of around 12 people, so that's understandable. Really lovely place, with fun decor and friendly service. Girlfriend and I came by on a whim and were seated quickly at the bar, which thankfully doesn't require you to order drinks. Food was delicious and flavorful. and the portion sizes were a lot bigger than we expected, so we had ample leftovers. I definitely recommend the curries, so you can take it home and add more to it--which isn't to say that there's not enough already in it, just that the sauce is that good! Note also that the tofu they give you is the good stuff that's pre-fried, not just the white blocks straight out of packaging. They're probably better than the meat proteins, honestly. I also want to mention that I received my order of egg rolls for free-- Whether the kitchen had forgotten it or was just really slow, we were done with our meal and had asked for the check without it coming out, and when I mentioned this, the restaurant wrapped some up for me. Fun and eclectic decor in a cozy environment. Decided to go for a birthday celebration with tasty food and drink that is definitely different from the standard Applebee/Chili's boring selection. Unique Thai inspired drinks like the Kinnari is similar to a mojito with an interesting twist of kaffir infused gin. Siam Bloom has hints of Thai basil, hibiscus, citrus and pineapple and very refreshing. We ordered several small plates but the party favorites were the Fried pork belly bites (Moo Thawt) So crispy and very tasty we ordered a 2nd round. The Papaya Salad (Som Tum) was the perfect companion with the fatty pork with it's perfectly baalanced or sour, umami and spicy). The ground pork laab street wraps with the chili powder was irresistible. The crispy fried oyster mushroom were cooked to perfection with a nice meaty bite. Most of the plates were served with sticky rice and made for a perfect meal with the papaya salad to eat with your fingers. Service was very friendly and helpful. The gentleman that helped us was welcoming and suggested we order the food with no chili and brought us a chili plate with different kinds of chili for us to try with our food.
