Snow crab and shrimp BOOM medium spice
    Pamela B.

This place would get 4 stars if the service wasn't so horrendous. And the worst part about it is they are so nice you can't really be rude to or mad at them. It's like crappy service with a smile 2 stars for service. We came here for dinner w friends, and the place was not packed at all, but it was painfully slow service. Nobody is at the front to greet you. So you're like do ppl even work here. Then once you sit down, they come to your table, but to get them to come back is like pulling teeth. We coulda walked out without paying the check bc NO ONE COMES BACK. But we'd never do that. Aside from that, the food and drinks are really good. I started with a Moscow Mule, which tasted like a basic delicious Moscow Mule. For dinner, I started with the house salad, which the ingredients didn't really make sense to me and it wasn't like a typical House salad, but it was salad. For my meal, I had snow crab and shrimp, the boom seasoning and medium spice. The seafood is fresh and the flavor was a little spicy. But good spice. It took a while to get water from our waitress. We had to ask someone else for those like shell cracker things and forget about lil forks to get the meat out. Again. The service was crap. But w a smile. We ended the meal with the ice cream and brownie dessert, which was super basic and tasted like from a box. I probably wouldn't have it again. And on that note, I probably wouldn't come back here bc of the service, especially with other seafood boil places around.

The 3 stars are for how nice the people were. They were so kind and friendly that I'm sad to leave a less than stellar review but it's the most I can give. The good- the boils were delicious, well cooked and fun to eat. There were 8 of us and they had a table for us that was comfortable for everyone. There was even a wobbly chair and they switched it out right away. The not so good1 The place had maybe 5 tables when we arrived and 2-3 servers so chances are you'd get fast service. Our meal took 3 hours!!! 3 hours!!! We ordered drinks and they took forever. There were few customers so not sure what the bartender was busy with. Even the bucket of beer, which should have been easy, took a long time. We sat down at 7:22pm and got our appetizers at 8:30p. Our drinks came out 10 minutes later. The entrees came out at 9:25p. The fish in the fish and chips had zero flavor. Everything else was good except the fried clams which also lacked flavor. Not sure if its the same batter.. The worst thing was their choice of programming on the television. They showed Bullet Train and John Wick and no it wasn't a PG version. We said something about it but they never changed it. We were further away so the blood and gore on the 10ft screen didn't interfere with dinner but what were they thinking? Lastly, they dont check their restrooms very often. One of the ladies stalls was in a state I cant describe here. I said something and it was cleaned right away but shouldn't they be checking?

We went after lunch but before dinner. We ordered the fried fish with coleslaw, the fried shrimp with onion rings and The crab fries. Everything was pretty good except for the fries. I would not recommend them. The service was super good. She Was exceptional. Taking time to guide us through the menu. The ambiance was okay. Just a regular restaurant. Would o recommend it? Don't know if I would but maybe you should come for yourself.

Food was awesome, tasteful, flavorful and very satisfying, service was good, nevertheless the server forgot to bring a refill, that's the only negative, ambience was great, not so crowded, clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. Hostess was welcoming. overall, a positive experience.

Food was good , service was okay and atmosphere was decent. Had the steamed oysters with the Boom seasoning which was very delicious . Also ordered the fried shrimp and fries basket , also seasoned very well plus they had sweet potato fries that are my favorite. Drinks were very good , bartender is great !

I love this place and I love how big it is! The food is great and so are the drinks. Only reason it's getting 4 stars is because the service is not all that good. It always takes a while to order food or to find someone available. This place definitely needs to hire more folks

I honestly like this establishment! Maggie you are amazing Like everything prices have increased and quantity decreased. Despite this truth, Maggie you remain lovely and your team truly exemplifies your lead! Christian, you're a newbie, but you rolled with my husband and he's tough Best of luck to you (Jon Seda look alike) Wishing you the best! Dee

I often come to Miami for business, the last few times I've come to this restaurant. As a native midwesterner, I come from a state with huge portion sizes and generally friendly service. Every time the service has been outstanding, and the food has been plentiful, delicious, and fresh. I am always blown away by the LACK of people in the place eating. Legitimately hasn't been more than 25% full any of the times I have come. (Late lunch/Early dinner generally). If you're on the fence, I highly recommend giving it a shot. I get the Headless Shrimp and some Sausage in the Cajun/Garlic spice combo my server recommended. Shout out to my server Dalay, she was friendly and sweet the entire time.

Everything about this place is AMAZING! The decor, the ambiance, the employees; it was all beyond exceptional. From the minute my boyfriend and I walked in to the Crafty Crab the vibes were so good we were instantly in a good mood. There were screens around the bar playing sports and a giant screen at the back of the restaurant playing football. There were a good 5 birthdays being celebrated, a good amount of people walking in and hugging not just other guests but also hostesses and wait staff and the energy was on another level. Whoever hired the staff at this restaurant knew what they were doing because everyone here was an absolute pleasure to be around. To begin with, the hostess was so sweet and genuine! What a great asset to this restaurant. Our server, Gigi, was amazing! She was extremely kind, attentive, and had great recommendations. We began with a round of drinks; I had a hurricane and my boyfriend had a vodka redbull. The hurricane was delicious! Halfway through my drink, Gigi told me that I should definitely try the Lychee Martini. I took her recommendation and I'm so happy I did. Delicious! She passed by the table a few sips in to make sure I was satisfied and when I told her I was she smiled excitedly and responded "I knew you would love it!" She was just so personable! For dinner we ordered calamari, a fried oysters basket and a Cajun boil of crab, shrimp and crawfish. Where else can you get crawfish in Miami!? Everything tasted great and my boyfriend was happily going to town on the food. After noticing I was downing ranch like it was water, Gigi came around and dropped off another ranch without me even asking for it. Overall, my boyfriend and I absolutely loved the experience and already cannot wait to come back! If you're debating whether or not to try this new addition to the pinecrest area, do it!

    Do you take reservations?

I am sure they do, especially for a big group. But when we visited, we walked right in and we enjoyed the place on our own right in front of the biggest screen tv I have ever seen! Enjoy.

This time I had the shrimp po' boy, and my boyfriend ordered the Voodoo Burger. Both were absolutely delicious. I've also had the crawfish étouffée here before, and it's one of my favorite dishes. I was curious about their crawfish, so I asked if it was frozen. They told me they fly it in fresh from Louisiana every day, which explains the incredible flavor. To top it off, they surprised us with a sample of their crawfish boil, and it was fantastic! Our server was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Between the authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and welcoming service, this is easily one of the best places in South Florida for Cajun food. Highly recommend!

According to Google, the restaurant closes at 10:30 PM. We arrived at 9:55 PM, knew exactly what we wanted, and would have been in and out well before closing. When we asked for a table, the hostess told us they were no longer seating guests for the evening. While I understand restaurants may stop seating before their posted closing time, the issue wasn't the policy. It was the way it was handled. There was no apology, no explanation, and no invitation to come back another day. The interaction felt more like, "Why are you here?" than, "We're sorry, but we're unable to accommodate you tonight." A manager then came over and identified herself as the manager. Unfortunately, she was even ruder than the hostess and appeared completely uninterested in resolving the situation or showing any concern for the customer experience. At no point did anyone attempt to handle the interaction professionally or make us feel valued as customers. In a city with countless dining options, service matters. It's not always what you say, but how you say it. A little courtesy and professionalism would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left a very different impression than the excellent service I've received here in the past and I can't say that I'll be back.

We stopped by Voodoo Bayou, a Cajun-inspired restaurant that definitely did not disappoint. We went during happy hour, which runs Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM (bar area only). Right away, we noticed how friendly the staff was, and the ambiance was absolutely amazing. I also heard they have live music on certain nights, which makes me want to come back even more! Now, let's get to the food. I decided to try the fried oysters, and listen... for my first time trying oysters, I was hooked! They were so good that I ordered a second round. My husband ordered the hickory-smoked wings, and let me tell you, these are a MUST-TRY. The flavor was incredible! Of course, we couldn't leave without ordering their famous beignets. OMG! They were absolutely delicious. If I had any room left, I would have ordered another plate. And how could we order all that food without some drinks? You know me better than that! My husband ordered the Black Magic Lemonade with bourbon, and it quickly became his favorite drink of the day. Then he spotted an Old Fashioned on the menu, and there was no way he was passing that up--he was in heaven!
