Sebastian was our server he was exceptional! Great young guy being super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Loved him. I'm giving you a four because of Sebastian and his great customer service. We did also speak to the chef on duty to give some feedback on how our experience was. Now to the honest criticism I've been here a few times and each time had some issues. This time around my dad says let's support the business. I'm not sure if business is a little rough right now or not but we definitely do like to support local as much as we can. We started off with 2 appetizers steak bites and mac and cheese. The steak bites were good. The barbecue sauce is not needed. The mac & cheese had good seasoning and flavor, but roux was not done properly cause it did have a grainy texture. We also ordered a bottle of wine to go with dinner. We did wait a while for our food to come out we did all order steaks, medium rare. Unfortunately, they were more medium than mid rare, al of the steak dishes did come with veggies and a baked potato that was fully loaded. I ordered their $22 special that was a steak with shrimp and a baked potato. The steak was well seasoned. I did like the butter that was placed on the top cause it did melt into it. The shrimp was good. They did pair it with a dipping sauce that had a spiciness to it. I tried it. I didn't eat it. I just had the shrimp with lemon. My steak was more medium than mid rare, but it was juicy full of flavor. I did finish it. I didn't have a chance to eat the baked potato because there was a lot of food on my plate. My daughter wanted her steak, medium rare, and she was disappointed because it was medium. She does like to have her steak looking bloody. I felt that the proportions on each dish was enough each plate average $40. The mac & cheese was $18 and so was the steak bites. Our bill did come out to $260 for four people to eat. That's including four dishes, two appetizers, a bottle of wine and one soda. A few things I do want to add they need to add some kind of tint to the windows because they're in direct sunlight that feeds into the dining area. We all know, Fresno is pretty hot during the summertime so we definitely need to make sure the air is running and there's some kind of shade to prevent the sun from hitting you directly in the face.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon. It was more like noon. We walked in and greeted right away. The place was smaller than I thought, but not super small. The staff was kind and attentive. I'm gonna give this place three stars for the food, though. I ordered biscuits and gravy and it was probably the worst I've ever had. The taste was just off and it had a weird texture. My friends got the eggs Benedict and their toast was very soggy and cold. I really wanted to love this place because it had good reviews.

No picture this time, but the chili verde omelet was absolutely delicious full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The country potatoes were just as good, topped with chives and melted cheese. The mimosa flight was a highlight! It came with a full bottle of champagne and a choice of juices: piineapple, watermelon, mango, and strawberry which made it fun and customizable. Our server was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, such a great experience--we'll definitely be back!

The food was amazing at (Aroma)'s after dark the service. Sebastian was awesome, the bacon in the burger was crispy. My nephew loved it all the food. Here was so amazing and delicious. I recommend this place to everybody.

Hector provided exceptional service and attentive skills. The ambiance was a bit loud but they do offer bottomless mimosas and an all you can eat breakfast options. Food was well prepared. The biscuits and gravy were delicious & I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

Always delicious at this restaurant... I haven't been out in a little white to eat... it's just been too cold but the hubby insisted so we went... He ordered a delicious omelette... and I guess I forgot to take a picture of my order... oops but everything was delicious... it wasn't too cold inside... the Christmas tree and decorations were very nice and the server was great too! I had a crack in my mug so it kept spilling but they kept refilling... Pretty sure we will be back soon!

The good was amazing! We had the steak bites and calamari, would definitely come back to have more! Plus, Sebastian was everything we could have ever dreamed of for a server! Sebastian went above and beyond and was able to satisfy my graving. My friend wanted chicken sandwiches and I wanted chilaquiles so he got them from the restaurant across the street "El Patio" they were good and the michelada was great too.

Came here for a friend's birthday and there were some highs and lows. My friend and I ordered bottomless mimosas while our other friend ordered a single mimosa. It took over 15min for any of our drinks to come out after ordering. It also took over 45min for us to receive our food which was surprising because there were only 3 tables of customers in the restaurant. The inside was very cold, so I couldn't take off my jacket at all. The server was kind but she was not very attentive and was hard to flag down at times. The food was good and the mimosas were very good once we received them!

The food was absolutely amazing, everything we ordered was cooked and seasoned well. The service by Hector was also amazing. He was very friendly and helpful when taking our order, while being helpful during our whole time here. Only problem during our time here was something out of their control but the table next to us ruined the ambiance and vibe as they were obnoxiously drunk and loud which made me feel overly stimulated.

First time here and the service was excellent! Food was excellent! Buffet was excellent! Drinks were excellent. Some love definitely went into my Bloody Mary... and honestly, the best Bloody Mary I've had in a long time. Buffet was awesome! Over all, a good time. Incredible to be refused service, which is basically what happened. I went in alone for a late breakfast about noon but they said I could NOT be served for 30-45 minutes despite there being at least two empty tables! Something about a large party. But you couldn't serve one person in a timely manner???!!! I think the manager is over his head. As others have said, the food is acceptable but nothing great. They said they could call my cell phone - but this is only acceptable at some place like Batter Up, or Benediction, where it's extremely popular and you know you're going to have to wait for excellent food and service. Never been here before, stopped in to try their breakfast buffet. 1. Food was cold, bland, and dry. It's awkward enough that I had to yell at the person serving the buffet line to get what I wanted since the noise level in this place is DEAFENING, but nothing in the so called 'buffet' of a whopping selection of 10 items even caught my eye. Pretty much already lost my appetite after that. The items are very basic breakfast food items ranging from bacon and sausages to biscuits in gravy and waffles. 2. Noise level is insanely deafening in this place. It gave me a head ache and I wanted to leave. My boyfriend had to move his seat right next to me so we didn't have to scream at each other just to have a conversation. It pretty much killed my Sunday morning that I'd planned on enjoying. 3. Price is outrageous. $25 per person for this excuse of a buffet, where I took bites off of 3 items and was immediately unconvinced. $10 for "bottomless" mimosa which I only received one tiny glass of because the waiters just never came back. Total bill was $62 and if you ask me, totally not worth it. To sum it up, I suggest anyone trying to enjoy a nice and quiet Sunday morning brunch to avoid this establishment and save your money. by far friendly service! The food is standard diner food. The eggs Benedict is quite tasty! I also ordered the Belgian waffles which are just regular as they were a bit on the flat side. I wish that the syrup was hot rather than cold. I did order the sauté mushrooms which were really good ~ Thank you for the free dessert which accompanied the review read more

This is truly a 3 star review. The food is middle of the road I had the ham steak which was nothing special or flavorful. My fiancée had a waffle which was similarly unremarkable. The service was ok fast but they never asked if we wanted jam or jelly for toast and we had to ask for butter for the waffle. I don't know how often they clean their syrup dispensers because it would not pour at our table or at the one next to ours. They are going for an industrial look, with industrial ceiling fans and an open kitchen, but I think it clashes with their menu. So a little pricey for what you get nothing great but nothing terrible. read more

This restaurant is down the street from me in the Tower District. I've had takeout meals a few times over the past year and have enjoyed the variety on the menu; there is something for just about everyone. This morning my husband and I decided to try their breakfast/brunch. The buffet looked and sounded so good (they serve you the buffet food items you point to which are behind a glass partition, so it's COVID safe), but we both ended up ordering off the breakfast menu. I had biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs and hash browns. All was delicious, especially the biscuits which were fluffy, smothered with flavorful gravy-- all is made in house. My husband had the meat lover's omelette which he really liked-- it was covered with sausage, bacon and ham. We had coffee and mimosas, all excellent. Our server was sweet and attentive. Next time we will go for the big buffet! read more

Soo disappointed. Ordered via doordash food was still hot but was hard to get to being there was cheese sauce spilled on all the containers and bottom of bags. The clam chowder was super salty and they didn't give me the garlic bread I ordered. The five steak tacos smh the meat and fillings were all over the place. When I finally Reassembled them the taste of the steak was very bland. I would not recommend this place. read more

The food was delicious!! The waiter recommended the Alfredo and it was creamy and they even topped it with garlic! Definitely up my alley. The paloma was really tasty, too. The mimosa flight is a MUST when you come here! They give a full bottle of Champaign and let you choose four different juice flavors. Don't come here without ordering one! If you're also an omelette person the build your own is the way to go! They PACK it with your topping choices. Most definitely coming back read more

Found this place by Yelp searching for "salad". From reading about 30 reviews, I realized a large portion of positive reviews seem to be generated by the business offering Free Dessert for a Yelp posting. Furthermore, many of these are the ONLY review for these posters. I doubt I'll be trying this food (too many detailed negative reviews, citing slow service, cold food, missing silverware, etc.) Much as I prefer local restaurants and support the Tower District, Aromas needs to concentrate on these basics before I patronize them. Also, I prefer my meals without a side of Bribery! (Wise up Yelp - this effects YOUR credibility, too!) read more

Was looking for a place to take a friend who was visiting from out of town. I haven't been to downtown Fresno in years and haven't seen how much the place has picked up. We chose this restaurant because of the ambiance. Kind of has that modern outdoorsy feel. The restaurant was super busy but after a short wait they sat us. Service was kind of slow and a little unorganized but the servers were all super nice. I had the biscuits and gravy and asked for a waffle, but the waffle maker was broken so I settled for French toast. Kinda wish I would have ordered something else because I saw some amazing dishes come out and I wasn't too impressed with mine. I will definitely revisit and try another dish. They offered me a free desert to write this review, so here it is. I wish had more positive things to say but on a positive note, I definitely will give them another try. read more

Have room for improvements. I had the surf n' turf. * Food comes out in a fairly good time so didn't have to wait long for the food * Good clean environment. Very spacious. * Great atmosphere. So good! We love that there is a big menu with a lot of variety! We had pasta, quesabirrias & chicken salad. We all loved our food. They also have a nice private banquet room that would be nice for social events. Indoor dining available. Try it! read more

I honestly didn't have a bad drink all night. They offer cold drinks, room temperature drinks, hot drinks, and just about every type of spirit you can think of. The cocktails are very creative, and the bartenders will actually warn you ahead of time if a drink has flavors they think you might not like, which I appreciated. The bartenders were excellent and really knew what they were doing. We had a spicy margarita, mojito, whiskey smash, an ube cocktail, and a few others, and all of them were great. Prices were fair for the quality, creativity, and overall experience. Not cheap, but definitely not overpriced either. One thing I really respected was that they had Narcan and fentanyl test strips available on-site. You don't see that often, and it shows they actually care about people's safety. If you're looking for craft cocktails in Fresno, this place is definitely worth visiting. I'll definitely be coming back.

This place was busy at 11:30am on a Sunday. There was a small wait (15 minutes) but it wasn't bad, and they called my phone to let me know my table was ready which is nice. The buffet was going on, and my friend had it and said it was amazing. She said it was actually freshly made, and didn't taste or seem full of food that had just been sitting out. I had the chicken and waffles, and it took less than 5 minutes to get my food from ordering. I was worried it would take longer from what I've heard elsewhere, but it was fast, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was cheerful and attentive, and I think the manager or head waiter even came around to check on us at least twice. We were very taken care of. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly, just as I hoped. It was tender on the inside, very crispy on the outside, and the skin flaked and broke apart with each cut. It was well seasoned and came with a delicious hot honey sauce that complimented it perfectly. The waffles were soft and light, but with enough firmness and crispness to be considered made perfectly. It was served with fresh fruit (definitely tasted fresh), and the butter was whipped and fluffy. Overall an amazing experience, and at a reasonable price I felt. I've always enjoyed coming to Aromas for Sunday brunch and for the most part, I've always received great customer service, however this past Sunday I was very disappointed with the service from the owner (who had a messenger the entire time). Service from our server was amazing, everyone was great, however when I accidentally spilled my drink on my untouched food (keep in mind, it's 6 of us seated at a very cramped table) the server offered to remake my food. Food was great, like always, but once I received my tab, server tells me "oh we gave you a discount on your second meal we had to remake". Not once was I informed that I was going to be charged for a remake of my order, owner offered me a 50% off because "it was not his fault" which I understand, however the handling of the situation from the owner was not professional. After making my case, owner did discount the second meal 100%, however that should've been done from the beginning. I hope the owner can continue to understand that accidents happen and as a business, their customers should be taken care of from start to finish. read more

I made a review on google my first time visiting it was a great experience , I came here a few times after and everything was up to standard as the first visit. However on Father's Day we all had breakfast there and the day after, everyone from our party got sick, throwing up, chills , body aches, headaches. At first we didn't think it was Aromas , but after retracing what we ate that day we traced it back to Aromas. The only 3 ppl of our party which were 3 children didn't get sick because they didn't eat ,just some snacks we had brought for them. However they ate the same food we did in the evening time and they still haven't gotten sick. It's sad to say because the food is delicious but the fact we got sick means something went spoiled in the kitchen, utensils weren't properly clean,or some sort of cross contamination of some kind. I'm glad we tried this place. A breakfast buddy and I decided to try Aromas out this morning. I lived just down Olive a couple years ago, still like to visit, and I was curious. I'm all the way over in Clovis and I'm so *not* a happy driver, especially during the morning rush. But Aromas was worth it. I have two "test" dishes for new breakfast places: corned beef hash, and Eggs Benedict. Today it was the Benedict over crumbled chorizo with the Hollandaise on the side. It's an intriguing combination, plenty of chorizo, kind of juicy but not enough to make the English muffin wet, just spicy enough, with eggs poached just right. With the sauce on the side I could keep it from overwhelming the dish. Two minor niggles: they don't do lattes, so I had a big glass of o.j. And the hash browns could have been a bit crispy. But that's a personal preference, and next time I'll be sure to ask for extra crispy. read more

They have a great environment, employees are a great representative of what the owners seem to be wanting. Family friendly, welcoming, professional, quality and kind. The chef, Robert, takes great pride in his delicious meals and his quality preparation. Based on the current running of this enjoyable little nook, it will succeed. My husband and I come to Aromas every couple Sundays for their excellent brunch buffet and omelette/burrito bar. The staff always offers superb service and makes us feel like family! They always greet us with a smile and serve us quickly. Our waitress KC was very attentive and kind to us during our most recent visit. She brought us all the condiments, food, and drinks that we asked for. Chef Jose always makes it a point to say hi to us and he always fills us in on upcoming events/special food Aromas is going to have next! Disappointing experience. We recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. While the service was good, the space itself wasn't particularly enjoyable. The restaurant is split into several rooms, and we were seated near a group of four having mimosas. They were talking and laughing very loudly--so much so that it was hard to hear my wife talk, and we felt overwhelmed. As for the food, it was underwhelming. I ordered the French dip, which was disappointing for $18. It barely had any meat and lacked flavor. I ended up asking for more meat, but it didn't help much. We are old and do dinner at 5 so there weren't many people so again I am wondering if I have made a mistake...but then you start to smell the food...then we looked at the buffet. Everything is always delicious and even if there's a way it's worth it because you never leave disappointed. Sometimes it can be a little overwhelming especially on Sundays but that's expected they have a great brunch special and despite the sometimes little weight the service is amazing. We had such a great experience! Ariel, our server, was absolutely amazing--so friendly, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable from the start. The guest service was top-notch and truly made our lunch worth it. Also, a big thank you to the woman who checked us in (she mentioned she works weekends--we wish we got her name!). She was just as welcoming and kind. The food was incredible. We ordered the shrimp fettuccine and the chicken and waffles. The atmosphere is a little weird, as it doubles as an event center so it's a little sparse as a restaurant, and the music is a bit loud. This is the second time I've had their food, but the first time I've been in their location. both times I have had the club sandwich, which was amazing. today I got the onion rings as my side and unfortunately they were so salty I couldn't eat them, which was too bad, as the crunch was great. Came here for breakfast. I follow them on IG and it always looks like they serve tasty food, so I figured I needed to give it a try. I didn't take photos because I was that hungry, so my apologies. I ordered the ham steak and eggs with hash browns. My eggs were nicely poached and the ham steak was as big as my face and very tasty. Their hashbrowns are also great, a crispy exterior with that softness on the inside. It wasn't a complicated meal, but if a restaurant can do a good job on a simple/traditional breakfast, then that says a lot about them. All in all it was a solid meal. Our waitress Lily was beyond friendly, very attentive, and really seemed to care about her job!
