I've been here before for breakfast and really enjoyed it. the menu was solid, and the service was amazing. I did think it was a little odd that they asked what type of egg I wanted for my eggs Benedict, but everything tasted good, so I didn't think much of it at the time. I decided to come back again and ordered the exact same thing, but this time to-go. Unfortunately, this experience was completely different...they served it with hard boiled eggs! Eggs Benedict is supposed to have poached eggs, so this was pretty disappointing and honestly confusing. Not sure if this was a mistake or just how it's made here, but it definitely wasn't what I expected the second time around. Hopefully next time, if i order the eggs benedict again (which i probably wont) hopefully its as good as the first time. I always like supporting businesses in the tower so we went there for breakfast. The place is nice inside and the people are very friendly. I ordered the chili Verde omelette, my wife ordered the veggie omelette and my son ordered the breakfast burger. All the omelettes and main courses were excellent. The Chile Verde was outstanding. The only problem were the country potatoes. They were basically just fried cubes of potatoes. They were quite disappointing. You can up charge for onions and peppers and cheese on it, but they would still just be fried cubes. read more

Food was delicious, service good. The potato was nailed nicely. Sometimes potato products are a bit too wet, these were cooked to perfection; the baked parts just crispy enough without being too dry and crumbly like a microwaved noodle, and the interior cooked well but not too wet. Expectation Vs reality. I expected a buffet with a little more variety. And hotter food. In reality tho I wish the omelette was an actual omelette and not eggs with stuff on the top!! Although what i had was flavorful. I just wish it was hot and not luke warm. I definitely wish the smothered potatoes were cooked through and soft. Because they tasted really good. My first time here and it was definitely a great experience. I came for brunch with a friend and it's such a cute little spot in tower. I was seated immediately and there wasn't much of a wait (Friday @ 11). Our waitress Alexis was very attentive and kind. My coffee was a little warm and I requested for a new coffee which she brought right away. Our creamers and coffees were always refilled quickly. I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham and loaded country potatoes. The potatoes were so delicious and the eggs Benedict was the cherry on top. Everything was fresh. Food: Sister and I came here for brunch. It was a little over $25 per person for buffet. Buffet consisted of watermelon and pineapple (would be cool if they offered chamoy and tajin), oriental chicken salad which needed more dressing, tater tots, sausage, bacon, churros, waffles, French toast, cucumber salad which had too much dill and needed a creamer dressing, kung pao tofu, orange chicken, chow mein, terryaki wings which was okay, a little tough, sweet and sour pork which is the best dish in the buffet, sautéed vegetables, fried rice, Mongolia beef and garlic shrimp and cake. It's a good deal and you get served the food instead of everyone walking around touching everything. Service- Great. The host and waitress was nice. They did offer us one container to take food home. I asked for a second one since my sister and i live separately, they said they only gave one per table so I asked to pay for it. They obliged and said we did not need to pay, but said it was one container per table. There was no cheesecake. Just chocolate cake and carrot cake. The carrot cake was okay. Had heard of this place for years but never got a chance to try it out. I will say this, I would 100% come here for the bottomless mimosa deal...in part because because getting service here was rough and having a full bottle already at your table will make it a lot easier! That aside, the place is cute, the hostess worked quickly to get us sat, and genuinely I think the bottomless mimosa would be a good deal (although I got another cocktail myself). It's a little pricey but the food is decent, nothing exemplary but good. The service was the worst part by far. The place was moderately busy in the afternoon for a Sunday brunch, but when we were seated, it took a while to get anything, even waters (which we had to ask twice for). We felt we needed to have our orders together immediately upon seating because seeing our waitress was few and far between. She was apologetic to a degree but by then we were ready to just get the check and go somewhere else for more drinks where the service was faster (highly recommend Splash next door!). The cherry on top was the busser came around while my eating companion was literally holding his burger mid bite and asked if he could take his plate! We each asked if he was serious because who asks to take a plate while someone's eating?? We were busting up after, it became a game to see how long it would take to get service. I'll give grace that maybe it was just a short staffed Sunday or maybe she was having a bad day, but there are way better and cheaper places to eat in Tower with service that is more attentive (El Patio is another spot right next door!). Large menu to choose from. It will take awhile to get your food so be patient. Service can be sporadic if the restaurant is busy. I had to hunt down a server to get our checks and box up leftovers. On our daughter's birthday, she wanted to go to a breakfast brunch buffet. I looked through several possible places. We wanted to try something new. I chose Aromas through Yelp reviews. They were mostly positive reviews and comments. We took three additional family and a friend. It is located in the Tower. It's a very clean, nice place to eat. The staff is friendly and helpful. No complaints. Upon entering the restaurant we were seated and given menus. Our waitress explained how to order and what to do first. It was so confusing we had to ask for additional help. Secondly, you have to order what you want to eat by filling out an order form with your name on it. At this point you can go to the actual buffet. The buffet ($30.00 per person) is very different. It is located behind glass windows. When you are ready to choose your food, a waiter is there (behind a glass window) to serve your food. You have to point to what you want. The waiter then puts your food on a plate and gives it to you. The next step is to go to your table to eat your selections. While you are eating, your first order is brought to your table. It was so confusing and unorganized that most of us didn't eat half our food. The next problem was some really boisterous and noisy customers came to eat. It was so noisy we could not hear each other talk. I brought a birthday cake for my daughter. We had to leave because it was so noisy. Overall, it was a very bad experience that cost $190.00. The food in my opinion was not pleasing or good. I suggest that when fellow Yelpers write reviews, be honest in your assessments. To his credit, the owner apologized to us. We were looking for a place to go for breakfast. Proximity as well as stars were high on my want list. Aromas has been on my radar for awhile now , and since I was taking the family out, i got to choose where to go. We walked in and waited for a seat. It was interesting to see the food getting cooked right in front of us. It was like watching a cook in a good truck. After a bit we were seated around to the right. Our hostess was very nice. As I looked around, I pondered about the thought of using the room for a small gathering, but then something else came to mind. It was pretty loud back there. It was a combination of the radio and hard walls that seemed to amplify the voices of everyone. The radio is a simple fix, but loud people will be loud. Another thing we asked about was the fan. It was a bit cold, so they turned it off for us. Gripes aside, let's get to the food. I ordered the country fried steak, which was great. My son got a burger and my wife the chicken and waffles. She didn't care for the waffles as she likes hers crispy. These were fluffy. My oldest got a burger, which was bigger than his mouth, so he loved that. My daughter took a bite and said it was really good too. Don't remember what she got but she finished it surprisingly as the rest of us had leftovers. And of course, the youngest got pancakes with extra sugar in the form of candy, syrup or marshmallows. I forget which, and he ate it all up. Overall, what Aromas got me excited about was to try El Patio, their sister restaurant next door. The service here was exceptional that's for sure. It's been awhile since I've eaten anywhere the service was so good. Not at the point of being bothersome, which I've had. It was genuine and at the right amount. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the to-go boxes were great too. They aren't the flimsy one time use type that you normally get.
