Great place. Really good quality Italian food and seafood dishes. Awesome availability of gluten free items including hot fresh gluten free rolls and pasta options. So appreciated and so rare in this area. A niche market they should definitely keep tapping into. Love how fresh and well prepared they are too. Anyone that needs to eat gluten free knows things take a little longer so no worries on that. Have not had any after issues from eating here as a person with celiac. Just happy smiles. The portobello mushroom app with the shrimp and lobster and Madeira wine sauce is to die for. Portobello mushroom sizes could be more consistent. Generous portions. Chefs seem like they care - awesome presentation, fresh ingredients, decent service. First two visits both waitresses forgot to bring out our salads but last visit Francesca was on her game. First visit waitress was very nice and helped bring me back. Sorry I don't remember her name but she was working on other tables tonight. Casual ambience in a comfortable setting. BYOB bonus for those looking for that. Loved the shrimp parmigiana; pasta sauces wee good. Nice house dressing for the salad; great desserts and a wide array of menu choices. Food temps could be elevated as some items over the few visits were on the cooler side. But overall this place rocks and the gluten free option is such a plus. Made three trips here recently due to the quality, portions and gluten free options. Happily spreading the word. Figured we would give this place a try after they placed a flyer in our mailbox. Since we have two young children we are big on delivery options and thought we'd branch out from some of our typical Yardley staples. The person with whom I placed the order stated it would be 45 mins to an hour for our two subs, salad and pizza to be delivered. One hour twenty minutes later I called in to check on the order which had not yet arrived. He stated it would "be here any minute." It was a total of one hour and 40 minutes later our food arrived...cold, unappealing, and delivered by what appeared to be a member of the wait-staff wearing an apron complete with a waiter's checkbook tucked into the pocket. So after twenty minutes of re-heating our food, we finally were able to taste it. What an underwhelming and disappointing experience. The homemade sandwich bread tasted like dinner rolls coated in too much oil. Our large cheese pie had a crust that was way overcooked...this was BEFORE we reheated the cold, unappealing slices delivered to us. Our sandwiches and pizza arrived cold with congealed cheese and the pizza was coated in a layer of cold grease. Pizza is my weakness, so I ate it anyway after reheating some slices. The crust made me envision what it would be like to eat the cardboard from the middle of roll of paper towels. Sorry to say this whole experience was a waste of time and money. Visited Arosso for the first time using a Restaurant.com coupon. While the service was good, the food was mediocre. No bread was offered to the table, and the appetizer portion of mussels in red sauce was both small and bland. Side salads were offered with each meal and were fine. My entree was penne in vodka sauce, and I asked to add grilled chicken. The chicken was unseasoned and chewy, and if you told me it was boiled before tossing with the plain, unflavored pasta sauce I would believe you. There was barely a hint of tomato or vodka flavor in the almost white cream sauce. The other entree ordered was the House Special; penne with shrimp and crab meat and the same flavorless meal arrived, also missing the crabmeat. Tried a tiramisu for dessert which was bland and lacking flavor as well. Our server was friendly and attentive, but I would not be interested in going back. read more

I ate at Arossos twice last week. Once was a weekday lunch. I had their Signature Sicilian Salad & tomato bisque and both were amazing! I feel like so many places around here offer the same old salad options. Arosso has many salads to choose from that aren't the same as everyone else. My friend had Francesca Salad & potato crab bisque & was equally impressed. I was there again on a snowy friday night for my companies annual Christmas Party. Our usual 'go-to' was fully booked so we decided to give Arosso a try. It turned out to be a great gamble on our part! The food was hot, delicious, & in abundance. Everyone left happy and full! The owner, who put everything together last minutes was kind & accommodating, while our servers that night were just awesome! They were very attentive to our needs and super friendly. My second visit to this restaurant ..... and now I remember why I was avoiding this place. We were greeted promptly and our server was very nice. Bread came to the table promptly .. but what the heck are they serving with the bread .... creamy Italian dressing? Okay. We ordered 1 appetizer (crab rounds), 1 soup (crab/potato bisque) and 2 entrees ... both came with side salads. Soup came first (very tasty), followed quickly by the side salads (nothing spectacular there ... although a larger plate would have been nice) and then the appetizer (they were okay). Can't say I was thrilled with the order in which they were served, but okay, whatever. Oh the entrees! Entree 1: Soggy breaded veal served over the wrong pasta ... absolutely swimming in tasteless sauce. Entree 2: Allegedly lobster ravioli .. except who could taste anything but salt! Poor little ravioli were buried under a glop of red sauce with peas. Couldn't even eat my dinner. Sorry. I tried twice. A great big X on this place. read more

So what do you feel like having? You name it, Arosso and Dave's team can make it happen! The menu is large enough to please every taste, but they don't shy away from special requests. You'll never have a better meatball-a meal in and of themselves. Hands down the best burger to be had anywhere. You wouldn't think you would see this at an Italian restaurant, but try one. You won't believe it. Dinners are well prepared with a variety of specials as well as the standard Italian standby selections. By far, the selection of salads can not be beaten. Food is the best! The menu is unbelievable! It ranges from salads and sandwiches to excellent dinners and outstanding specials. The staff and management are genuinely friendly and interested in their customers. I have never had a bad dinner here. I have tried the breakfast, lunch and dinner and I have never been disappointed. My friend's family ordered food for pickup here on a Friday night around 6:30 pm, and it was the first time I heard of this restaurant. I had the spinach salad, which I really enjoyed. I liked how the mushroom sauce was warm and wilted some of the spinach slightly, and I enjoyed the hint of sweetness in the salad. The chicken was tender and yummy. The only downside was the time for the order to be ready--45 minutes. We ordered three salads, a pasta dish, two pizza rolls, and fries. The food was worth the wait, but be sure to plan for the possibility. read more

I will NEVER eat here again!!!! I went for dinner with my family, kids and parents. The waitress charged my 1 year old twins $4 each for sharing my food!!!! Walked in at 8pm, noticed only 1 table finishing up. Lighting was dim, service was fine...friendly waitress gave us great directions to Rte.1.Just ordered steak stromboli. Something definitely was wrong with the steak....bad taste, even gristly, dough not baked so it was gummy and nasty sauce. When we left the place at 8:49pm, there were no other customers. Stopped at McDonald's to cleanse the palate with ice cream and dump the uneaten stromboli in the trash. read more

First time here: service was excellent, food was good, not great. A bit pricey for the quality of food, but we will go back and try different dishes. I was disappointed in the marinara sauce, mostly because I like a sweeter sauce. The "picante" sauce for the chicken dish was very good, although I've always called it chicken piccata. Pizza's good. I usually only do take out. I was disappointed to find lettuce on my chicken cheese steak... Really, what were they thinking putting shredded lettuce on a hot sandwich, it wilts and gets slimy and brown and this is NOT an authentic Philly cheese steak. Food is fantastic. My wife & I go there often & have never had a bad meal. The Portabella Mushroom appetizer is to die for & the Montesarro Rib eye ( which is my favorite ) is out of this world. My wife usually gets the chicken parm which she loves but she recently tried the lasagna & said she has a new favorite dish! I personally love the Tiramisu for desert which, I came to learn, the owners father personally makes. On a trip to Italy, he learned the recipe for it. I always get this for desert anywhere I go if its offered & this is by far the best I have ever had!!!
