The owner of this company, and his office manager, angrily dismissed our strong concern about a staff member who took photos of our property inside the house, and without our permission, and then tried to hide his actions from us. No apology ever came from the temperamental owner and office manager, despite their company's having compromised our privacy and security. So why did the owner and manager get so angry, instead of doing the right thing and apologizing? Because the owner behaved unethically from the start, in a breach of confidence and betrayal of our family's trust, by sharing private information beforehand with the staff member who came to our home (possibly with theft in mind, given what he chose to photograph). We're inclined to believe that the staff member took those illicit photos at the owner Gary's request. And we are almost certainly not the first homeowners with whom this company has engaged in unethical breaches, an invasion of privacy, and possibly worse. Red Alert! read more

Day before yesterday we discovered a ceiling leak in our hallway from an a/c pipe in the attic, probably around 5:30 and it was still 98 degrees outside. Turned off the a/c and left a message with Arpi what happened and to call us the next morning when they opened at 9:00. At 9:10 Tammy called and said they had a full schedule but she would talk to Gary the owner and call me back. She called back and said he would come late afternoon and at 5:30 here he comes with his helper, soaked in sweat from the heat and they fixed the problem in 45 minutes! 8/1 we have been having trouble with air flow for sometime. We called ARPI and scheduled an appt for Gary to come out and evaluate the problem. Instead of taking abroad brush approach for coming up with what was wrong he went into the attic and after awhile found out what the issue was. We have had some plumbing done and apparently they damaged the ducts and in some cases the ducts were disconnected. Gary scheduled a call to sent his service people to replace the damaged ducts and seal those that were disconnected. I came home tonite and the house was cool Ispite of the temp outside was 90. The point I am making is ARPI AND GARY are professionals and did a great job. I strongly recommend ARPI AND ITS OWNER AND TEAM. I've dealt with ARPI a couple times this year-- once for a leaking A/C, and the other for a blown capacitor. ARPI got me a same day appointment the day before a heatwave and climbed up onto the roof. Cost of the capacitor $317-- why $317 and not $315 or $320, who knows, who cares, but I thought the cost was fair considering it was a same day appointment, climbing the roof and a set of stairs, fixing the capacitor in the dead of summer heat. And it was the day before the heat wave was to begin. Anyway, Gary is nice, and Tammy (she's the one that answers your phone calls) is lovely. Also, they've always shown up exactly in the window they gave me, and put everything in writing. Horrible. Got an estimate for stuff I didn't even need. He was just trying to rip me off! As a single women I rely on professionals to be honest and help keep the household running. I felt very weary and got another estimate. The second estimate turned out just to be simple wiring to my thermostat. Looks like someone messed with it. Just had a new air conditioner and heater installed replacing my 23 year old equipment. Gary, Carlos and Cesar did a great job! They dismantled the old equipment inside the house and on the roof, protecting my carpet and cleaned up afterwards beautifully. My biggest concern was the roof. It was imperative that when they installed the new condenser my roof warranty would not be affected. Just had my Roofer check their work and he said they did a real professional job! Impressive! I used Gary from a recommendation and although work was done, he did not get approval for (barely 1 hr) work that was billed for $650. When I called to make the appointment, I had asked multiple times that this was a unit that had a tenant and He must call for approval on any work. He never called and I was just sent a bill. I also asked that Gary does not discuss any work with my tenant and only to relay it to me directly. Gary spoke to the tenants about the work and they knew the amount that was being billed and sounds like tenant was the one to know more than me. I was upset since this was the first time working with them and not sure I would trust his work now as well. read more

My heater kept cycling off and on. When the technician reviewed my system, he reported the cycling was due to an overheating switch shutting the system off. I was informed that if this switch failed, I could have had a potential fire! He fixed the issue and I've been using Arpi from then on. They also serviced my AC which is working great. So HAPPY with my visit from ARPI who left about 30 minutes ago. I very rarely write reviews however my experience was so great I didn't want to procrastinate. I had a service window from 12:00 - 2:00 and they showed up at 11:30...what a pleasant surprise! Gary was amazing, got to work right away and while doing so pointed out things for me to look out for in the future....NO up-sell, another surprise! He checked my furnace, gave me some tips for the summer and the correct size of the filter I should be using. I had him check my duct work because one of the bedrooms wasn't getting much air and my suspension was correct...the duct going to that bedroom was extremely undersized which I will have him fix at a later date, the rest of the house was good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "ARPI"...a great find and one I will share with friends and family and all of you out there looking for a wonderful HONEST experience. I have used ARPI for a few years now and have never written a review before...but this time I felt that I must. During the recent hot spell our air conditioning stopped working, and of course my wife started complaining (she is a few pounds overweight so what does she expect?); I immediately called ARPI and explained the dire hot house situation, and also explained that I couldn't take the constant nagging from my wife much longer. They must have heard the desperation in my voice and Gary from ARPI was at our house that evening. Not only is he a great air conditioning repairman, but he is also a fine human being. He diagnosed and fixed the problem in less than an hour. It turned out that my wife's cat (which has been missing for several months) had crawled into the air conditioning unit and croaked. The dead pussycat was clogging the entire system! Gary removed the dead cat (which was very stiff) and the air was blowing cold again. This also explained the bad smell that had been flowing through the house (which I had been blaming on my wife's lack of hygiene after her weight gain). There you have it....Gary to the rescue...he fixed the air conditioning and ridded our house from an extremely rancid smell. I love ARPI and Gary. read more

The heater part of our a/c-heater failed last night - freezing cold. Picked ARPI out of the Yellow Pages and called them, after waiting 1 /1/2 hours for a callback from our usual HVAC service company. Within an hour the owner of the company, Gary, was here on the roof checking out the unit. He quickly found the problem, and tried to get it to work without replacing the part.
