Went here for some chips, salsa, and cheese sauce. Chips are the best you can get and are homemade. Salsa was ok. Definitely better options for salsa in the area. I love their tortillas, Chile Colorado, chips a salsa. I did love their tamales but recently I purchased 1/2 dozen pork tamales and something has changed. The ones I bought just had too much masa. I scraped a lot of the masa off. The filling was good but too much masa destroys it for me. read more

The chips get the chips. They are famous for their chips. It's super crunchy. Perfect for chilaquiles and nachos. I'm really not a huge fan of their salsa. It has oregano in it that's why. I stopped by today to pick up some lunch I was patiently waiting for 15 minutes the staff that works there seen me waiting and didn't greet meet and acknowledge me , when I finally said something about placing my order they replied I will have to wait to order until the customer in front me receives there order . Maybe there understaffed but when a customer walks in your business greet and acknowledge them and let them know that there will be a wait but will be with you asap. Picked up some Menudo on a Sunday! I love their Nachos and Chips; however this Menuda was a complete falier. It didnt taste like menudo. Yes; it was red which looked like the chili was just added when we ordered it. The menudo tasted like it xame out of a can. It comes with a tiny piece of lemon wedge and a small bag of onions and celantro. And guess what it doesn't come with... tortillas! And this is a place that makes tortillas. Never bought menudo that doesnt offer tortillas with menudo. Went home added more lemon, more salt more everything. Highly disappointed and would not recommend or buy Menudo here again. read more

This is a Local gem when it's comes too old fashion tortillera's. They do fresh home made flour tortillas on Monday's and Wednesday's and always have fresh out of steamer tamales on the daily. Most locals come here for the nachos and salsa but adding some pork verde on top with the red salsa is amazing and something I suggest trying. If your into tamales the tamale boat is fantastic; They cover a fresh tamale with nacho cheese, your choice of meat and their famous salsa. The service here is quick and easy unless you come right at lunch time then your looking at a 5-10 minute wait, "well worth it". I will recommend this place if your looking for some great food to host a party because they do offer their chips by the pound and salsa and cheese by the container. If your in town for one of the festivals or a Local looking for some great comfort food this is the place try. read more

Others walked across the street to Del Taco. But if they'd ventured to the other side of that same block, they could have improved their lunch prospects entirely. They have breakfast and lunch burritos made with their fresh tortillas. In addition to tortillas, you can get masa, salsa, and chips made from their tortillas. Just stopped by a little while ago for a dozen tamales and a couple tamale boats. It was my first time trying a tamale boat and I was a little skeptical about nacho cheese on a tamale. Its not exactly traditional, but I gotta say, it was good. The tamales are as close to grandma's home made as you can get anywhere in the valley. Don't expect any potatoes or olives in the filling, it's just the meat, but it's flavored well. The chips and salsa are good too. The only down side is that it's kinda pricey. read more

Not hard to find but after driving for 10 miles to try one of their tamales, I have to say I was sadly disappointed. The masa texture is good and fluffy, but the pork meat filling was a bit too salty and not as flavorful as I would like. Also they are actually too big and I understand why individual tamales are $3.99 and a dozen $33.99 which is crazy! I'd rather get smaller much more flavorful tamales for a lesser cost. This place will not be my go to tamale spot for this holiday unfortunately. read more
