We bought a truck from Cherry Trucking knowing it was sold as-is, and we were fine with that. We accepted the issues we could see and even the ones that might show up later. But what happened next was unacceptable. On pickup day, their staff was already replacing the batteries. The next day after we brought the truck home, the battery was completely dead and the truck wouldn't start. We had to spend about $500 to fix it. Even worse, on the second day, we found a clear oil leak near the fifth wheel. My husband is a mechanic and checked that exact area before purchase--it was clean. There is no way it got that dirty overnight unless it was cleaned on purpose to hide the leak. We contacted them very politely and only asked for $500 back, which is less than half of what we spent on repairs. They refused and then stopped replying. As-is does NOT mean hiding problems. This was a very disappointing and dishonest experience. We expected better integrity from a business that claims decades of experience. read more

Horrible dealership. I was sold a truck that had multiple issues. Power Window switch didn't work, check engine light on, air leak in rear airbag, chaffed electrical cord, damaged glad hands, and after I paid a $650 delivery fee and told It paid for fuel, I got the truck with almost no diesel. Completely empty. I was finally reimbursed $200 for some fuel. Then to fix the window and the check engine light I was told take the truck to their shop down the street. They had the truck about 1 week (partly because they "fixed" a door lock that wasn't even broken) and couldn't clear the engine light. I was instructed my the technician and by Arrow to take the truck to TEC and have them clear it. I made clear I would not pay the service fee for TEC since the truck was delivered to me like this. Arrow agreed to pay and then after a few days the bill came to just over $400. I was told by arrow to pay it and they would reimburse me. Now it's 2 weeks later and they say they aren't paying it. I paid $70k for this truck and didn't ask for any reduction. I paid full price. Apparently you need to pay for a pre purchase inspection on every truck you are looking at. As soon as they get the truck they throw it on the lot and sell it to you. Hoping you don't find any issues they have to pay to fix. They don't do any type of inspection. I look at different dealerships, I've drove a couple and couldn't wait to get out of there. The trucks are expensive out in California and they want gold for crappie trucks. I put a down payment on one truck where I'm from California, and it looked brand new, when I went to take it for a test drive it wouldn't start. I put down $ 500.00 on it. After 2 weeks it still wasn't fixed. Then they tried to sale me a truck that was sitting for over 2 yes and told me they could give me a slightly lower price and they would be taking a loss. This truck at most was a 10,000 dollar rig. Bought 579 pete. Sold me a different truck than I was looking at online. APU had issue. Bunk heater had been left on by arrow and ran batteries down. They jump started it and shorted out the APU system. I assumed they would take care of this issue. They refused. So now no APU, bunk heater, AC. Truck had a flat steer tire. Camera in windshield just hanging there not stuck to glass. Bad wiper blades. Check engine light on. Tec said just because of dead batteries. That was a lie. It is the emmissions malfunction light. Contacted manager , Trey, he wanted me to take it to shop and get it fixed and they would pay if tec said they caused it by jumping it. Sure they will pay. I see all the other complaints about this. Purchased a 2016 Peterbilt 579 with 278,000 from here. Tractor was in Kansas City. When I picked it up it still had issues that I had expressed concern about. Needing to get back to work I took the tractor. I bought a truck in April and been going in and out with the same check engine light before I purchased it..it's been down maybe eight times..I don't think the mechanic knows what he's doing with the Def system.. later i come find out that Radiator was leaking in the fuel tanks... and they were aware of this before I purchased it (that's deceptive practices) withholding information like that.. The mechanic told me that Bob the manager is really cheap and tries to cut corners and doesn't want to spend money fixing the trucks and they just reset the check engine light and put it up for sale and you won't find out for two or three days.. it's shady work like that that makes a bad name for them.. I will call corporate because he's refusing to fix it and the mechanic told me He doesn't know what's wrong with the truck...and my contract States to correct the problems with the DEF system when I purchased it...it's been over two months same problem with the truck that was there before I purchased it -so unless you want to waste your time and have truck payments/insurance payments and lots of down time I wouldn't buy here if I were you...oh and come to find out they sell trucks out of compliance putting holes in the def filters read more

I purchased my first truck from Tony at Arrow Truck. He was very professional and helped me find a truck within my budget. When the financing fell through he found another financing company which gave me a better deal. After my truck arrived from St Louis, I noticed the engine light was on and my left front ABS sensor was out. Not only did Arrow fix this but also rotated my tires and replaced a torsion bar and brake drum that I didn't even realize were broken. My trailer turn signal wiring was bad and I didn't realize this until after I left to get my new trailer. I took the truck back to Arrow and the mechanic replaced the wiring harness. Unfortunately this didn't fix the problem and I had to spend $200- on a mobile mechanic to fix it. It was really no big deal and I feel like Arrow came through on all of the important things. I knew that buying a used truck was risky but couldn't afford a new one. Worst experience EVER (French Camp location). The salesman, Rahul, is very untrustworthy. His manager, Valentine, is untrustworthy as well. We had a deal with them for a truck purchase - they emailed an invoice and wire instructions to our lender; we signed loan docs and everything. The next day they called and said someone from another branch put a deposit on the truck and that we needed to cancel our deal. Rahul lied and said he told me the day prior that we needed to put a $1000 deposit on the truck. They told us yesterday that they would call the person that put the deposit down to see how for sure the deal was and if it wasn't for sure they would let us know this morning. It's 1 pm and they never called. Rahul TEXTED me and said that the truck is sold. In May of 2015, I purchased a 2011 Peterbilt 387 for $58,000 plus $4,700 for the extended warranty and $1,200 for the roadside assistance. I put $10,000 down and am paying $1,668 a month for 48 months which means I will pay another $80,000 for this truck and it has broke down on me 6 times which has cost nearly $10,000 out of pocket that their warranty would not cover. If you do the math and consider the down time, total of 12 day's at $750 a day = $9000 I would have come out better buying a new truck that had a real warranty and just payed the payments of approx. $2,200 for a new KW T680 costing $135,000.
