Arrowhead Deck and Pool resurfaced our patio and around our pool. We had heard that Arrowhead Deck and Pools had over 25 years of experience with ground resurfacing, both commercial and residential, so we decided to go with them. The salesperson came out quickly and provided a look at many different jobs that Arrowhead Deck and Pools had done to give us a good idea of what our options were. We chose a high-quality travertine stone: the "Desert Wood" style. We paid our half down and they scheduled the work to start within 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery was as scheduled. Work started 2 days later. I had to call and ask when the work would start. The work was messy, but that is to be expected. They had to saw the stone to shape it, which created lots of dust. Arrowhead Deck and Pool had a professional cleaning service come out and clean the yard and drain, clean and refill the pool. They just showed up. The cleaning service started draining in the yard, but I stopped them, because I did not want my yard flooded, and had them bring hosing around to the front and drain into the sewer, which worked fine, and the cleaning service had all the necessary equipment, so there was no time lost. Work progressed very quickly, you will see a lot of progress each day until completion. Any time I came outside to ask the team to pay attention to something, they were courteous and had a can-do attitude. With the exception of a few imperfections, the job looked very nice. The team came out to touch up the imperfections, and do a little extra work that was not originally quoted (tile around the back of the pool that was raised off the ground, and was showing the old "cool deck like" surface). The patio and pool are transformed, and my wife and I are quite happy with the result. The Desert Wood stone is beautiful. Arrowhead Deck and Pools saved me some money by determining that drainage did not require a special drain, but that the grading drained water well enough that the special drain was not required, so it was very nice that the amount due at the end was reduced from the original quote! Thanks to the owner, John, for coming out personally to look at the work before scheduling the touch-ups, and to collect the final payment after everything was complete. John's a great guy--very friendly and fair. It was a pleasure working with him. While it's difficult to get everything perfect the first time, Arrowhead Deck and Pools, lets you know that if you want to have them come back for touch-ups, they will do that and they don't complain or try to charge more. After leaving messages with 7 different pool companies, we finally got 2 to respond. One of them was Arrowhead. I knew it would be a challenge as we live in Casa Grande and that seems to be outside everyone's stomping grounds. Tom S came out within the week and we had our quote before he left that day! We did (finally) get a quote from the other company 2 weeks later. He told me that we would have our own project manager and advised that the PM would be around to see us in a couple of days. We planned our project for summer as we assumed that was "off season" for pool companies and it would be better for everyone's timeline. Diego did come out a couple of days later to introduce himself and give us a flexible plan for the project. I was stunned to realize this would only take a total of 5 days over the span of 10 days. He was true to his word and the pool was drained the following Monday, chipped out Wednesday, tiled on Thursday, pebbled on Friday and refilled on Monday. Diego was very easy to reach and was knowledgeable on any question that I had. He was even nice enough to speak with my own pool service after the initial chemical restart. All the crews that Arrowhead sent over were super friendly and efficient, even when I was out there taking pictures and being nosy watching the process. The pool looks amazing and we've followed all the instructions for the first 10-28 days to be sure it stays looking great. As business owners, my wife and I are very critical of the typical (lack of) customer service provided by most companies these days. Broken promises, delays and lack of deliverables seem to be more the norm. BUT, this certainly wasn't true of John, Tom and the entire team at Arrowhead Deck and Pools! We first met John and Tom at one of the Home Shows on a Friday morning (May 5th). After discussing our desired pool remodel and concrete resurfacing of our back patio, John gave us his personal guarantee that our entire project could be completed before the end of May for Memorial Day! That seemed impossible since other companies were bidding the same project with 6-8 months lead time - and for much more money! So, we took a chance. Tom was at our house that same afternoon looking at the job which included breaking out all the old pool tile and pebble tec, building us a new baja deck, adding new pool tiles, some turtle mosaics throughout the pool and then spraying in a new pebble finish. They began the work 3 days later on the following Monday and had the entire project, including the concrete refinishing on our back patio, 100% completed 3-days earlier than promised! It is beautiful, without mistakes or weird change orders and they even came back afterwards to clean up the pool decking for us. We cannot say enough about the entire Arrowhead team and would highly recommend them if your looking for fast, dependable work done at a fair price. Thanks again John for keeping your promises. I met with John Trice, the owner of Arrowhead Deck and Concrete, to go over ideas, pictures of previous jobs and also the scope of our project. We chose the coating system and colors for our back patio area and the front walkway and entrance. We had about a 3 week window to get the job completed for a bridal shower for our daughter taking place in our back yard. John and Kari, in the office, were very accommodating and we able to find a time frame that would work. The team of David & Edison showed up first thing on a Monday morning ready to do demo, clean up and prepare the concrete. The following day, they arrived to put down product to keep the moisture from coming through the concrete. By Wednesday color boards were prepared to insure we were happy with the colors chosen previously. They were very professional and efficient in their work. The weather was also a factor with showers happening at night and larger storms threatening for later in the week. They pushed to get the work done and after we approved the colors, they were able to seal the patio and front entry way. Kari was great to work with and excellent in communicating with us. Everything looked fantastic & was able to cure & dry before the heavy rain storms hit us. I told David & Edison, "It was a work of Art!" Arrowhead did a very good job for our pool decking. We had 30 year old cool decking that we had them refinish for us and add a new section of patio. It was very reasonably priced.... they were on time and backed up their work. One of the ways I like to evaluate a business is how well they handle problems. After about six months we had one section of the deck that had raised up a little bit... About an inch but it was enough to trip over. We contacted arrowhead and they asked us to send pictures they suggested that we wait another six months to make sure that any settling or expanding of the soil had stopped and they would come out and repaired it. In February one year after the installation the contacted me (I didn't have to contact them) to see when they could come out and do the repairs..,,they came out with a crew ground down the raised up portion refinished complete sections so it matched and then repainted everything. This is exactly how you want a contractor to act. There was never any haggling or questions that it was going to be repaired and they followed up with what they promised. I would recommend arrowhead and I think they do very good work. And most importantly they stand behind their work and if there's a problem they fix it. read more

We recently hired this company to completely upgrade our backyard, including new patio flooring and pool deck using large porcelain tile. The final result looks fantastic--modern, clean, and exactly the high-end look we wanted. The tile work is solid, the installation is professional, and everything has held up well so far. We're genuinely satisfied with the completed job and happy we moved forward with the project. Mat, the salesman, was excellent from the very beginning. He is very nice, personable, and truly cares about his clients. He listened to what we wanted, explained the new product options clearly, and helped us make good decisions. His follow-up and communication made the process much smoother. The project had quite a few hiccups along the way, and Steve (the project manager) was okay managing them. There were some delays and coordination issues that could have been handled better, but the team ultimately got the job done right. Overall, we would recommend this company if you're looking for quality workmanship on a patio/pool deck project, especially with premium large-format porcelain tile. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Arrowhead Pool and Deck. Aside from Caleb, the initial contact person, I've been unhappy with the work and lack of communication, especially for the amount I'm being charged. From the start, communication has been a major issue. The project manager rarely kept me in the loop, and I often had to chase them down for updates. This lack of communication left me frustrated and unsure of the project's progress. Adding to the frustration, the crews frequently missed workdays without any explanation or notification. This inconsistency has significantly delayed the project, which was originally scheduled to be completed by the end of July. It is now well past that deadline, and the work is still not finished. The quality of some of the paver work has also been subpar. I expected a professional finish, but what I received fell short of those expectations. Overall, the poor communication, missed deadlines, and dissatisfaction with the quality of work have made this a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Arrowhead Pool Company based on my experience. read more

What a sensational experience! A company that works with you to give you options for your project. We shopped price for our Cool-Deck and Pebble-Tec resurfacing job. John worked with us to get the price down. He was substantially lower than two other companies we considered. They provided us with a schedule which they adhered to. Kari was in touch with us regularly to ensure we were happy. They provided us with electrical support on our pool light at no cost to us. The only issue we had was resolved to our liking by Kari in a very timely fashion. The Pebble-Tec re-surface job is superb :) Johnny even waited (a half hour) for my Care-Taker replacement head FedEx delivery once he was done with the Pebble-Tec. He installed the pop-ups and we filled the pool. I have got so many compliments on the stained concrete coating. Everyone thinks it looks just like stone. I highly recommend Arrowhead Deck Resurfacing for expert resurfacing of pool decks, patios, driveways and garage floors. John Trice the owner and his crew resurfaced a huge patio for us. The old patio had huge cracks with big chunks of concrete missing. They filled the cracks, sanded the old surface down, resurfaced, textured, painted and sealed the entire area. The effect is such that it looks like stone. John worked closely with my wife and I to get the colors right so they blend in with block walls and surfaces on the patio. John and his crew are prompt, courteous and professional, and they left the area clean after each work day. The follow-up was great when we had questions and some minor touch ups that needed to be done. John was just as courteous and professional the second time we engaged with him as he was the first. We couldn't be happier with our pool and deck remodel--the transformation is truly incredible! Arrowhead Deck and Pools resurfaced our pool and hot tub, repainted the water feature and slide, and redid our entire deck (over 2,000 square feet!) with a gorgeous stone-texture "cool deck" finish that gives it the look of travertine. The hand-painted lines add a custom touch. Dave, Diego, and Juan were fantastic to work with--responsive, organized, and always ahead of the game. The demolition crew especially impressed us with how fast and efficiently they were. When the first coating of our deck turned out to be too slippery, they quickly came back, added more sand, and made sure it was safe--now we don't have to worry about the kids slipping anymore. When we were getting bids for our pool renovation, one company stood out, Arrowhead Deck and pools. Our project manager, Lynnette, was available to us anytime we needed her. Most impressive was the fact that the whole project was completed in under 10 days, as promised. The workers were very careful with our shrubs and gates, and they cleaned up after every day's work. Best of all, Lynnette came every single day for the first week or so to brush our pool so we didn't lose our warranty since we were not able to brush due to back injections. It has been months since our pool was remodeled yet Lynnette still follows up to make sure everything is going well. They were very helpful and informative the entire process, helping us make our vision we didn't even know we had a reality. With the intricate attention to detail from each specialized team I knew I was getting a professional service worth every penny. The before and after is truly night and day. Their customer service was also on point. We ran into our fair share of delays and unforeseen issues, but they were quick to explain the change in process as well as accommodate our several changes and additions to the project last minute. Consumer Warning Regarding Arrowhead Deck and Pools Do not use Arrowhead Deck and Pools. I have recently learned that this company routinely hires workers who are either unlicensed, lack the proper credentials, or are unskilled, and they perform work without obtaining the required permits. We hired them for a pool renovation last year, and we have experienced ongoing issues ever since. I have since discovered that the subcontractor they used to repair the gunite and install our tile was only legally licensed to perform plaster removal and install a new pebble interior. If you have had Arrowhead Deck and Pools complete a pool remodel for you, I strongly recommend contacting the Arizona Registrar of Contractors to report your concerns and verify whether the work on your property was performed legally and to code. read more

Solid work from a reliable company. I made it clear right from the start that I needed this project completed by a specific deadline. If they couldn't meet that deadline, I couldn't proceed and sign any agreements. Arrowhead assured me they could get it done, so I gave them the go-ahead. The project involved adding a new suction return line, removing old plaster, new tiles and installing new pebble tech. The team and crew were punctual, polite, and efficient. I was impressed by their professionalism and how quickly the project manager addressed all my inquiries. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs work done in their backyard. I looked around before having someone resurface my courtyard and patio. I got several bids but it was clear that Arrowhead had the upper hand on knowledge and experience. The work team (David and Eldin) came out and fixed a problem area with two of my concrete areas. They worked hard to make it look like the rest of the concrete. My areas were old and dry. Nothing had been done to it by the previous two house owners for over 13 years. After cleaning the surface they glazed the areas and brought life back into the surface. Arrowhead were amazing, they came and finished the spool in no time and fixed issues left by the previous company. We hired Arrowhead to pour two areas of concrete pads in our backyard to extend our patio area. They worked with us on the quote by tweaking the project so it was within our budget. The crew was professional and courteous. During the demo and prep phase, there was accidental damage to our pool pump; the worker alerted us right away and was honest about what had happened. Chris (project manager) came out to assess the damage immediately and fully rectified the situation by providing all parts and labor to restore the pump to its full working condition by the project's completion. I am trying to get a quote , I had an Appointment with Justin on June the 3rd , he came in and gave me an offer. next day I called twice and left him a message , I wanted him to bring samples. After 5 days trying to call him at his cell , I called the office twice then he called him. I told him what I need, he told the owner doesn't agree about the offer, he increased by $1500. I asked when he can come and bring samples he text me Friday 6-11 after 4 I agreed...I waited for him he never showed up or even Text me..1- I think that he or the owner should call me the next day and explain to me the change of price. 2-There is no excuse for him not to show or call .
