WOW, where do I start. The staff at Arrowhead Harley-Davidson are 2nd to none. They are Amazing. There is NO pressure. No shady sales tactics. They are genuine with their professionalism and customer service. Matt Rothenberger is the guy to talk to. He knows more about every model of Harley-Davidson then anyone I have ever talk to. And if he doesn't, he is humble enough to ask other employees for advise. He is amazing and fun to be around. He never pressured me about buying anything. He actually never talked about purchasing a motorcycle. He wanted to answers I had about each motorcycle. Mike the sales manager was very helpful not about guiding me to purchasing a motorcycle, but what each motorcycle offers. Never talked about purchasing anything. "Clink" in the finance department provided me with information that help me make decisions, not pressured to do what he thought I should do. It's a good store. The staff is friendly, plenty of bikes and motor clothes on inventory. But the sales team seems to pester a bit too much. You have to navigate past the pack of sales people that are loitering out in front "scoping" you out as you arrive. As you enter, they follow you in. One will dive out and take the lead while the others will lean on bikes and watch as their pal goes in for the kill. "Hey! How are you? I see you like that Street Glide. That's a nice color. What do you ride now?" Other than the feeling that you're there for the sales gang to go after, the place has a nice layout. It's a good location and I think they're making a strong effort to increase their presence. read more

This place has the worst customer service. My dads bike broke on the shifter and had them fix it. They said they fixed it and so my dad headed down the road and .......you guessed it, the very thing they said they fixed broke again. Brought the bike back and this time we had our own mechanic to make sure it was properly done right. Guess what yelpers, they didn't properly fix it. Brought it to they're attention and they tried arguing with us and one employee said one thing and another employee said another. What a joke! These guys aren't even on the same page. If I were the owner of arrowhead Harley I would definitely clean house of the employees who think they know everything and don't. I went in to dealership wanting to purchase a street glide & that's what I left with. Not a comparison to car dealerships where I have gone in and they chose what they wanted to sell me not what I wanted. Josh, Rob, Zaaron, & even the staff in the shop were great. Everyone was patient, kind, & went above & beyond to give us exceptional service. An added bonus was Father's Day grilled cheese sandwiches with was also a nice touch. There wasn't a moment in the dealership that any of the staff walking by didn't ask if we were being taken care of, needed water or help finding a product. I have been a customer here since 2015 when I bought My Street Glide Special. I originally went there for the simple reason that I knew GM for many years. I had a wonderful experience buying my scooter but had several issues with service. Ultimately I had to get Eric involved when I finally reached my wits end. Fast forward to yesterday. I recommended Arrowhead to one of my Brothers for a 2014 Road King it was a nightmare for him. His clutch lever pin came up missing he was willing to pay for the parts, but they wanted to nickel and dime him for labor. Now he was already paying for a 40K service. He was told that the front and rear rocker covers were leaking and the tail light bolts were loose. They quoted him over $1,500 to fix all of it. Mind you They wanted to charge 2/10 of an hour to tighten bolts on the tail lights. I offer to reach out to the now regional manager and he declined. We both searched for the evidence of any leakage on the rocker boxes and nothing. After this experience both of us will never go there again. We would rather travel the 20+ miles to Buddy Stubs. To say the least I will never send anybody there again. read more

Standard HD... Over priced. Standard "car dealer" mentality...sleaze. I brought a 2008 Fat Bob in to sell. Was given an initial estimate (prior to service center looking at it) of $5k... Which was low but reasonable. Gentlemen told me that was because of an approximately $1k in repairs that would need to happen. So in my mind, my bike was worth approximately $6k. After service looked at it, they reported that the bike needed $1400 in "repairs". This would lead you to believe their offer would be somewhere around $4600. You would think... New offer after service...$3500. Slimy. Best part about the whole thing. Dude and gentlemen doing the "dealing" for my bike "explained" to me that because they would only be able to list the bike for $7k max... Their offer couldn't go any higher than $4k... Well, had to go back to drop off a second key FOB... Found my bike, listed for $8k. Sleazy used car dealer... Good riddance. read more

For the second time at this same location I was ignored. I took several laps inside and outside as I watched other customers get greeted, offered things, and share smiles. I rode in on a bike so it was evident that I was an enthusiast and part of the motorcycle community. However, the staff at Arrowhead made in known that I wasn't welcomed in their community or their establishment as they walked pass me...no eye contact...no hello...no ill be right with you, NOTHING! This review is about the service department. I brought my 2005 CVO in on memorial day weekend for a minor electrical problem with my turn signal, an oil change, and to have them locate the problem of a small oil leak. Was told that my engine seals needed replacement and it would cost $1700 to fix, and I would have my bike back on Monday. OK, spendy but I went for it, figuring that the seals are 13 years old in the Arizona heat. I get a text on Thursday that the tech found that the shoes in the trans were shot, and it would cost another $500. In for a penny, in for a pound, but the bike would be ready on Saturday. Called Sunday (8 days after I put it in for service), and was told that it would "Go on the lift on Monday" and would be ready Tuesday. No calls, no reason for the delay. Before this I always took my bike to Harley Davidson of Scottsdale, where my services were always performed perfectly and on time. This will be the last transaction that I conduct at Arrowhead. Very unprofessional, and I now think that after they are done, I will have their work inspected at HD of Scottsdale to 1) see if the work was done, 2) see if it was done properly, and 3) apologize to HDOS for taking the bike anyplace else. I cannot recommend this dealership to any other riders. read more

Excellent store. Unlike other dealers, this store is top notch. All the guys greet you as you come in (and they don't try to sell you all the bikes they have), the ladies at the apparel register are always nice and very helpful, the parts and service guys are always ready to help with any questions you might have. I had the need to load and unload my bike from my truck when we moved to the area and when we moved again, both times these guys were unbelievable helpful. I'm gonna miss being so close to a store like this one. Five starts guys, keep up the great work you're doing. I had purchased a 2017 road glide from these guys brand new last year. I rode it for about 6 months and had close to 17xxx miles when it was totaled by a freak flood and mudslide. After months of dealing with insurance and working with the sales team at Arrowhead, I was finally fully refunded for my bike and the extra 3 year extended service contract and warranty. This process took longer than I would have hoped, but in the end it all worked out. May I suggest BUYING THE GAP COVERAGE on a new bike. I didn't do this and it almost bit me in the ass. I dropped my bike off on suday for service which i had an appointment on monday. Its now the end of tuesday and i didnt get my first free oil change that was promised for buying the bike there. Took my bike to get my clutch check out. Was happy with that aspect of the work. What upset me was they didn't clean my bike. Every HD dealer always cleaned my bike and I mean clean not detailed. I drop it off in the AM and I was in school so I wasn't able to pick up until 6:15 PM. I get there and they told me that they had to wipe down my bike. So I had to wait 15 mins to receive my bike. So to me they finish my bike and it was forgotten and nothing was done. It was already dark so I could see my bike until I got home. Once I was home where I can see the bike it didn't even look like it was wipe down. I'm new to the area so not sure if this is the norm here. I've been HD owner for over 20 years and I'm going to say it isn't. Not happy with Arrowhead. Never going back. read more

i know motorcycle batteries die unexpectedly ok. bought brand new 2019 ultra limited in november 2018. today 07.06.2019 8 months later with hotels booked the battery is dead. warranty service sucks i'm told the test procedure required to warranty the battery will take three hours i've been waiting for half an hour already no one has touched my bike. im told i can just pay for a new battery but without the required 3 hour test procedure i will not be reimbursed for the cost. brand new bike been on a battery tender 24/7 since i bought it. Battery was replaced back on the road in just a couple of hours cost $180. Dealer didn't charge for labor. Only for battery. read more

Well we made the mistake of walking over to the dealership after lunch, just wanted to see if any women's apparel was on sale...Out front was a 2014 Softtail Slim, black, perfect condition with only 1,500/miles. I was in love and my husband was too! Dude was helpful answering questions, but we seriously we're not out looking for a new bike, although it was time to trade in my little Sportster. We of course came back the next day, Dude was off, but Danny was just as helpful and knowledgeable! I recently went in for a new rear tire on my 13 Road Glide Ultra and a rich running issue. I was sold a new clutch cable and switched from the 1 day turn around as promised to three to five. I was also told that I would receive a 10% discount for prior service in the military. Because of the Stealer ship resistance to hard work they did no diagnostic on the rich running issue. They "She" the girl at the service counter Beth said upon our phone conversation promised to include at no charge a spark plug exchange. I thanked her. When I was called to pick up my bike I received a bill including the charge for the plugs Beth was conveniently not there. I also received my 11.00 dollar discount on my 700 plus bill for my military service pat on the back. OK I paid and went on my way. Three hundred miles or less later my transmission began to slip indicating a clutch adjustment problem and undue wear on my clutch. My friend and I had a look at the adjustment located beneath the boot. It appears that Arrowhead installed an after market clutch cable (As discussed and approved by me do to time constraints in getting the OEM cable and my F-ing bike back" the Tech at Arrowhead installed it WRONGLY! In WRONGLY I mean the jam nut on the adjustment for the clutch on an OEM cable goes to the lower of the assembly but on the after market for whatever reason the engineer thought it would be a great idea to reverse that to the top Arrow Head purchased sold me on increased the price for their profit and then installed it incorrectly on my pristine 2013 Road Glide Ultra. Well Arrowhead Harley shopped purchased marked up and installed the cable incorrectly causing my clutch to incur totally unnecessary wear and tear and for myself to spend over two hours of my time attempting to adjust it correctly running it down the road pulling over and so on and then at the very least another two hours waiting for them to re-adjust the clutch at the stealer ship. This brings me no pleasure whatsoever posting this but on the other hand I will not stand for it I work hard for my money and expect qualified mechanics to work on my baby and obviously I will take my business elsewhere. First up: this dealership is part of the "RideNow" corporation. For those of you familiar with RideNow, then this should be enough said. But.....I still have more to say ;-) Yeeeeeaaaaarrrrs ago I had heard rumors to stay away from this motorcycle dealership; one of the reasons I heard was: "They run it like a car dealership." But rumors are rumors, and things can get exaggerated, so eventually when I was in the market for a bike, I thought I'd see for myself. Yup, it's bad. I had shopped around at 5 dealerships in Arizona, and Arrowhead was willing to meet/ beat the best price out there for a bike I had seen at another dealership. But then comes one of those "fees" as a line item on the bill-of-sale. This was a pre-owned cycle. But, you ever heard of a "UVC fee"? Me neither. They claim it's for a "Used Vehicle Certification" inspection. The charge? $550.00 Besides tax, title/ tags and doc fees, there should BE NO OTHER fees on a pre-owned vehicle. And something else that should have tipped me off about this dealership? They don't allow test rides of the vehicle you're about to buy. I know, I know: WHAT?!?! I've ridden cars & motorcycles for over 30 years, and every time I've gone to purchase, there's the obligatory "test ride". Not Arrowhead. After purchasing this bike (I know: shame on me for falling for this UVC fee and not test riding it), I suffered a case of "buyer's remorse", mainly for buying into this "UVC fee", and went back to the dealership to try to renegotiate, but since they don't allow test rides, I was stuck with it. As of this writing, I have not had the bike quite a year yet. In this time, here's what that UVC inspection got me: - Handlebar/ steering out of alignment with front tire - Clutch cable/ lever loose (and this has happened TWICE in the short time I've had it) - Front tire never balanced - Violent shaking/ vibrating in front end; had to have a "fallaway" procedure done in the steering column (also done TWICE) - Missing red safety reflector on rear fender - Oil "weep" in which the oil sensor/ sender switch had to be replaced - Oil "weep" turned into an oil "leak; lower engine case block turned out to have an imperfection (it was porous); entire lower half of engine block needed to be replaced - Speedometer's LCD display malfunctioning; whole speedometer needed to be replaced - Battery failing, needed charge, will have to be replaced (remember: have not had the bike quite a year yet) The only item I had done at Arrowhead was the handlebar/ steering alignment. And coincidentally (or NOT), after I got it back, a day or so later I discovered a flat rear tire. The cause of the flat? A "drill bit tap"; this is not an average, everyday item that you find on the street and run over. Know where you might find them? In mechanics/ service centers!! And the replacement rear tire was not cheap! All the rest of the items I listed I had done elsewhere at independent mechanics, and for the items that were still covered under warranty I had done at other HD dealerships, not Arrowhead. And then the topper: At a recent visit to an HD dealership to have my clutch cable worked on AGAIN, the service guy says something out-loud as he's pulling up my info on-screen on his computer. After having this bike almost a year, guess what I just found out?!?! This bike used to be part of Arrowhead's rental fleet!! Some people aren't bothered by the fact that a vehicle they're purchasing used to be a former rental; I'm not one of those people. Frequently, rental vehicles are "ridden hard" and beat on a little by the people that rent them; no pride of ownership, if you get my meaning. During the negotiations and eventual signing of the bill-of-sale/ contract, Arrowhead never disclosed that this bike I was purchasing used to be a former rental of theirs. Nice, huh? In my 30+ years of driving motorcycles, this was my first Harley. Because of my experience at Arrowhead, this will most likely be my first and ONLY Harley. Alex and Rebecca in the service department are AWESOME &GREAT people!!! I ran over a nail or something in Hope, Arizona (ever heard of it? Me neither!! but the people there were friendly). Anyhow there I am in the middle nowhere, flat rear tire. One of my buddies was able to patch the hole and we rode together to Phoenix. So I'm kind of stressing because it's Saturday night and I have to be back at work in San Diego Monday morning!! I wasted time calling Scottsdale Harley because their service department was open on Sundays. I told them my situation and asked if they could get me in for a rear tire change. I was told, "Nah we're totally booked. You can come in and wait and see if someone doesn't show up for their appointment, we might be able to get you in". That was 1 minute and 34 seconds I'll never get back talking to THAT guy. So I called Arrowhead Harley and Rebecca answers and I tell her my situation and she asks me to hold on for a minute. She comes back and tells me they are extremely busy but bring my bike in and they'll take care of it. She said I may have to wait a bit but they will get me back on the road so I can get home. I was willing to wait all day if I had to! I get my bike to the dealership about 11:00AM, I walk into the service department and was greeted warmly by Alex. I said, "Hi I talked to someone about..." Alex finishes my sentence, "A tire? You're from California? Let me get some information off your bike and have you sign a few things and we'll get you going" At this point I'm ready to buy the whole service department a keg! So Alex tells me about all the restaurants near by and he'll give me a call when my bike is done. I get a call at 1:00PM on the dot and he tells me my bike is ready! In the past several Harley Dealers quoted me $450 for a rear tire change,which in my situation I would have been happy to pay. Alex gives me the bill and it's HALF of that!!! I told him I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of my bill. He tells me if I bought the tire at Arrowhead HD they mount the tire for FREE! This service department is AWESOME and will be my go to whenever I'm in the Phoenix area. Thank you Rebecca and Alex you two are AWESOME!!!! read more

All I can say is this dealership is the worst we should have just waited and went to the one on cave creek I bought a 2019 883 iron from them first off if it wasn't for their salesman mike we would have left we watched them walk past us to help the other people who looked like they had money first off I didn't know u had to walk in showing cash in hand to get treated like a person I was buying this bike for my husband who has been through chemo and dialysis and is fighting everyday to be here and all I've ever heard from him is how he would love to own one before he passes so I worked my butt off like all of us do to get the down payment the look on my husbands face when we told him what we where getting him he was like a kid on Christmas just to have these people think they are better then us that we where not even worth their time a couple just before us got a bike they made them feel like part of the family they made me and my husband feel like black sheep please if you want a good experience don't go to this one they will take that dream u have had since you where young and crush it we have never felt so unwelcome at a business but the only reason we didn't leave is their sales person mike was the only one who saw my husband as a person and not a Commission read more
