It looks nothing like the photos I showed them. Nothing. I went back and they tried fixing it and somehow made it worse, I cried. I took a gamble, and I lost, and it was quickly the worst decision I've made in a long time. In particular, I went to go get some Mac studio fix powder. The store was busier than I've ever seen any Ulta, which caught me by surprise. It took me a while to find an associate to help. They would make eye contact and keep walking. I finally asked someone to help me color match. It had been years since I used the studio fix and I loved it when I was younger but found it hard to be matched. She tried a few colors on me and decided on one. It looked okay to me but it's so hard to tell in store. She also explained to me that the formulation had changed over the years and it wasn't the same as it used to be. They no longer use talc. She expressed that some people like it, and some people do not. I had no idea so I'm glad she told me. I ended up asking a few other sales people where to find items I was looking for, one pointed in the direction and one actually took me there. I sampled a few items through testers, but decided to stick with just the pressed powder for now. There was a long line to check out, but there was quite a few cashiers and they were opening more as I waited. The line moved quickly and I was able to pay for my item and ask questions about the return policy in case I didn't like the new formula . When I got home, I tested my new product and unfortunately it's a bit orange on me so I'll be bringing it back. Also, I do not like the new formulation it's very different (obviously not ulta's fault) and the coverage is weak so I am happy the employee on the floor let me know. I like ultas selection and sales, the service is hit or miss, but I'll keep coming back for the great deals.
