Contrary to what a lot of students say, this cafe has everything you'd need. Every day there's something different on the menu, there's a large Coke machine, coffee, a variety of drinks and snacks, and even Sushi Tuesdays. Don't get spoiled, students.

Fuck this stingy ass Cafe, The food tastes like shit, stop trying to bring out the Chinese menu when your food worse than Panda Express. The staff serves tiny bit of food, like one little scoop of each, and food all overpriced. I went back ask the staff if I could get some more, cuz you literally gave me one scoop of noodle, he answered with "no, that's the size how to serve" Art Center should consider rent this cafe to someone else who knows how to chef.

This is a disaster, student special, cheeseburger macaroni !

I come here with hope and leave with regrets, forget about taste and flavor when visiting this place! They food actually never changes, their fish tastes like chicken their chicken tastes like their fish, bland and very much comparable to hospital food. Everything is overpriced, and poor student's "student special" is made with whatever they had left over! This place is a shame and disaster for school like Artcenter.

Too slow to photo. To hungry to enjoy.

I'm not always hungry but when I am I'm sure to hit up the one and only Art Center Cafe. I don't dilly dally with the mediocrity that exists in the vending machines hidden amongst the dark corners of the campus. I make sure to warm my soul in the amply lit cafe sporting a scenic view of grass, trees, and a smoking area. The scenery is aight, but the real tooth fruity is the what Sodexo likes to call the "crispy chicken sandwich". My god it's dank. You about it? I'm about it and so should you, your mom, and your mom's friends. Desmond just gets his fry right every time. Yeah, sure frying a frozen chicken patty really ain't that hard, but it certainly ain't easy either. It's all about the decisive moment, the instant where both crispness and moistness reach their maximization and stabilize. Trying the damn sandwich, it's good.

This is 4 dollar and it is the art center special...

Very very pricy for some low quality salty food. I strongly recommend to order delivery other than the art center cafe.

Much BS from the one and only: SODEXO Photo cred. A friend.

My friend and I came about an hour before they were closing and thankfully there was plenty of seating! I ordered the salted maple latte with oat milk, but the rose vanilla sounded equally enticing! The customer service was upbeat and friendly. Our drinks were made promptly without sacrificing the quality. I loved how well balanced the drink was and the maple flavor really came through! It also wasn't overly salted and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was rich, indulgent and creamy. It had the perfect amount of caffeine to leave me feeling energized without the jitteriness. My friend ordered a tea and pastry and raved about hers. The seating was pretty comfortable and the ambiance was great. I liked how it wasn't too noisy, so we were able to hear one another easily. The cafe is nice and bright with gorgeous paintings on the wall and motivating quotes written beside them. They have a small shared lot that can be pretty tight to get in and out of, especially when there's large vehicles parked there. Thankfully, since it was the end of the day and most of the other businesses were closed, I was able to get in and out easily, with plenty of spots available! I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the area and in need of a tasty caffeinated beverage!

We shared the ribeye chilaquiles and the churro waffle and a side of potatoes for the chilaquiles. The potatoes were cooked perfectly and were the perfect addition to the chilaquiles plate. The chilaquiles were delicious and flavorful, and because they're cooked as tortilla strips, I felt they held their texture much longer and stayed crispy. The ribeye was cooked nicely, and the sunny side up eggs came out perfect. The waffle churro was soooo delicious. It wasn't insanely sweet, it was just right. And the syrup it came with was yummy and not overly sweet as well. I'll definitely be back to try more items on their menu!

The café itself is super cute, very clean, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive. There were so many menu options that I honestly wish I had more time and more of an appetite to fully indulge and try more dishes. We were in a bit of a hurry. I tried the chilaquiles, which were quit filling. They were a different style than the traditional version. They used crispy tortilla chips similar to the kind you get in tortilla soup, which actually gave the dish a really good twist. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. The food overall was really good, and I especially enjoyed the latte because it wasn't overly sweet like a lot of places tend to make them. Overall, such a great little breakfast and coffee spot in Eagle Rock. I'll definitely be back when I have more time to explore more of the menu.

There were quite a few people working, so it seems like a great spot to grab a coffee and just chill. I tried the - Miel Cream Top 9/10 -Mango Coconut Matcha 9/10 -Espresso Black Sesame. 8/10 The black sesame espresso was definitely the standout, it was so unique and unlike any espresso drink I've had before. The mango coconut matcha was refreshing and really good, and the Miel Cream Top was a fun treat too. They also carry pastries from Cake Monkey, which is always a win, and have a nice selection of breakfast options like burritos, sandwiches, granola and yogurt if you're looking for something more substantial. Great drinks, cool atmosphere, friendly service, and plenty of space to hang out or get some work done. Definitely adding this one to my coffee rotation, I'll be back. Next time I might just give myself a mini little portrait session with those walls and that atmosphere.

Very little coffee shops sell them, so when I saw it on an online menu, I knew I had to visit. Coffee was fruity, sour, slightly smoky, lingering astringency and bitterness. The cream on top was light in sweetness. Overall it was okay, but still disappointing. It wasn't a smooth espresso, flavor was all over the place. Wish there was more contrasting temperatures of the hot espresso and cold cream on top too. Coffee beans were Brazilian, Guatemalan, Sumatra, Medium-Dark Roast Coffee. The coffee beans were lightly roasted. ICED MATCHA LATTE WITH MATCHA CREAM TOP Wanted to try their matcha as they really advertised Nami Matcha on their menu. First time trying Nami. Super light on the sweetness overall, hardly any honey or agave in their matcha drink. Matcha was grassy, a bit floral, a bit of sweetness in the matcha, a bit of astringency and bitterness at the end that lingers in your mouth. A lot of things going on, yet there was more of an aftertaste of astringency with bitterness at the end that wasn't pleasant. So strange that the matcha flavor was more on the lighter side, since I did add matcha cream top as well. However, I liked this drink more than the espresso con panna. But I would not reorder both drinks. AMBIANCE + SEATS A bit dark and moody place with dark ceilings, wooden chairs and tables. There were a lot of tables and it was packed today! The only available seats were the benches on the side. There were small tables, so I was able to place my drinks there. It is a nice place to hang out. Lots of points for the ambiance. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was good, staff was nice. It was packed and busy, yet they were nice about answering questions and making sure that everyone got good service. PARKING There is street parking, but even when I went on a weekday, it was difficult to find parking. There were neighborhood parking too, but it was far easier to park closer to the streets than in neighborhood street parking due to many tow away signs and private parking signs. I am open to revisiting although the drinks I ordered were not home runs. I felt there were more coffee or matcha drinks to try and their menu intrigued me.

The minute I walked in, the aroma of the coffee and baked goods just organically welcomed me IN! Walked in this morning at 10:15AM, and was greeted by Stephanie. All the people behind the counter were genuinely super nice and friendly, and I am going to leave it at that. Some places can be pretentious and I don't like that. I didn't get that vibe here. Loved it. They have many different options of baked goods, hot and cold beverages, salads, sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and more. They also serve wine. Very unique and interesting. I love minimalist spaces, and this is the exact opposite. This is probably just my own OCD personality that misses Steve Jobs and his black turtlenecks. The staff, however, is very nice! Okay, now the coffee, which is what my rating is based on. The latte was a small step up from Starbucks and had an odd taste that I couldn't quite place. My wife couldn't finish hers. The drip coffee was barely above lukewarm and just didn't taste good. Again, it was hard to put my finger on exactly what was wrong with it, but it didn't taste particularly fresh. I noticed the bag of beans on the counter was roasted on 6/30 and marked down on clearance. Anyway, it's probably a perfectly fine place if you're not obsessed with excellent black coffee or high-quality espresso drinks. The space is large, there's lots of outdoor seating, and the staff is nice. I just wish I'd known going in that the coffee wasn't very good, so I'm writing this review for the other people out there who are equally insufferable about their coffee.
