I found Rainbow Bridge and after a few hours I called them around 3am and Franciny answered right away. She was so compassionate and listened to me and comforted me over the phone. For pricing it is dependent on the weight and size of your dog, my ~20lb dog being $300 for the pickup, cremation, urn and ashes, and drop off with a clay keepsake of your pets paws. Gelver picked up Mochi a few hours later and it was a quick process. He was able to carry her from my house to the van and we had a long conversation before he drove off, and had lots of care and compassion. He brought Mochi's ashes back less than a week later (on Thanksgiving week) in a wooden urn with a clay keepsake of her paws. I ordered an extra clay keepsake for $35 . I really appreciated that they pick up and drop off, and Gelver was very kind and gentle and was such a hard worker. You can tell these two have much love for pets. Both of them emphasized to me that they don't have kids but have dogs all of who are old seniors so they know the love of pets.

One of their vets came to our house and held a beautiful space for us to help our sweet kitty across the rainbow bridge. I wish Furrever Friends existed when my other dogs passed…read more Our dog, Franklin, died on Sunday. For over 11 years, he was a very important part of my family and friends. We are devastated. Not many crematoriums are open on Sundays. I called a number in Van Nuys that I found on Yelp, but the man referred me to Furrever Friends. I'm so glad he did. Heather at Furrever Friends was so kind on the phone and in person. She made the entire process very smooth and easy. She discussed everything with me - their strict cremation process, what to expect with the final package, etc. Honestly, I didn't ask; she just told me. I wasn't functioning very well that day. I picked up Franklin today after only a 4-day wait. At the shop, Heather surprised me with Frank's paw and nose prints on wood and paper! What a thoughtful idea! (I'm sure she told me about it on Sunday, but I really wasn't present.) I almost broke down in front of her when I saw his nose. We used to "boop" that thing! Frank himself is resting in a beautiful wooden box. He's coming home now. Heather, thank you so much for the amazing love and care you showed us! I won't forget you.

Last week on the 23rd right before christmas, my dog of 14 years passed away at home. I remembered my bsf used FF and I reached out to get their info. I contacted them immediately and was assisted by Heather. She was very kind and helpful over the phone, gave me all the info about the various packages they offer. They offer 3 different cremations packages (private, witness, and communal). I chose to go with private bc witness was more than double the price of private. However, don't be nervous about going with private bc they have numerous ways to ensure that you will be obtaining your pet's remains back even if you aren't able to witness the full process. The private package included a simple urn (a box), paw/nose impression, and fur clipping. In their viewing room, they have numerous urns to choose from and upgrade from the package. Although it was so close to the holidays, I was able to pick up my baby girl the day after christmas. They were kind enough to gift us with a bamboo impression of her nose and paw as an ornament as well. The whole service and communication was truly great. I had no doubt in trusting Heather and her family with taking care of my pet. You can feel how much they care about animals and their passion in helping families get closure and having a beautiful send off for their pets. I will definitely recommend Furrever Friends to all pet owners when it's time to say goodbyes to our fur babies.

I was afraid to let her go honestly. We constantly looked for solutions .even after every vet visit, we knew what we had to do. Believe it or not, I thought euthanizing my pet at the vet was going to be a little comforting, since my first fur baby left us naturally at home, but I was wrong!! I never thought at home euthanasia was an option I looked online, and it led me here. The reviews were 5+ and gave me comfort with the decision we were about to make. And let me tell you, it was the best best best decision we ever did! My little Lola was at home with all her family , in her bed (and not some cold metal table)as much as this decision is so heartbreaking, I rather live in pain than having her suffer! Dr Charlie. I can't thank you enough for the patience you had with all of us having to say goodbye to our fur baby. You didn't rush us! You gave us the amount needed to say our goodbyes, even though I'm sure there's never a certain to do so. You were gracious! When we knew it was time, my wife started to call vets while I tried to sneak in as much extra time with my boy as I could. I can't say Hearts and Halos was the first place that we called, but I can say that I'm so happy that we ended up using their services. Mari was at our house a little over 2 hours after we called. She had a kind and soft presence and was extremely empathetic. She made what is an unavoidably brutal experience just a little bit more manageable. I'm incredibly grateful that this type of service exists. Being able to spend his last moments with him in the place that we were certain he was comfortable and at ease was invaluable.

I don't think you'll regret it. Having to say goodbye to Bear, my best friend in the world and and still the purest love I've ever received, was the saddest day of my life. And figuring out the "right time" was agonizing and I remember feeling so alone. I called Hearts and Halos, and the lady I spoke to was so kind and gave me excellent advice I think all pet parents need to hear when the time comes: only you know what your animal needs and value quality of life over everything else. When that time came, Hearts and Halos scheduled me for the next day and provided their services with great patience, compassion and respect, making an already terrible day a little less terrible. That was 5 years ago. I called them yesterday for a cremation certificate and information on traveling through airports because I've decided it's now time to spread Bear's ashes. The same lady who helped me 5 years ago called me back at 9am this morning. She didn't have all the answers I needed, but that's not the point. The point is she went out of her way to bring us to this full circle moment by again helping me say a different goodbye this time, and providing guidance through another painful phase of letting go. I never got her name, but I always remembered her, that phone call about the right time, and her returning my call today 5 years later. She's exactly the person I needed in those moments. A true blessing from above. Thanks again. - Bear's human

On one of the hardest days of my life, he helped make a heartbreaking situation feel a little more manageable. He explained everything clearly, treated Ñoño with dignity, followed up professionally, and most importantly, showed real compassion. He also worked with me on the price when I was in a very difficult spot, and that generosity meant more than I can put into words. What stood out to me most was that he did not make me feel rushed or like just another transaction. He understood that this was family, not "just a pet," and he treated the moment with the seriousness and care it deserved.
