I will also say that the compartamentalized packaging / little case was a very effective way to keep them intact and fresh for a while (as with the sweetness level I did not eat them in quick succession) . #yum #ReviewsbyRL

This week I got to the market early so I could talk to the staff about the daily options. They had a wonderful selection of fresh breads, cookies, granola, croissants and more. The clerks are friendly and helpful. I picked up several croissants that were absolute eye candy. These croissants easily rival those I've had in France. My family spilts them, so we can taste each. The ham and cheese savory croissant was buttery and delicious. The croissant melted in my mouth. My favorite was the cherry and pistachio croissant. The cherries were fresh and tart. The edges were perfectly caramelized. The raspberry croissants were huge and a hit with my granddaughters. The ingredients taste high quality. The line is long and check-out is a bit slow. But the clerks make an effort to connect with each guest. You've got to get there early for the best selection. I can't think of a better breakfast on a beautiful morning.

Every visit…read morefeels like a small adventure, thanks to the massive selection of freshly made baked goods lining the shelves. There's always an impressive variety of breads, cakes, cookies, empanadas, and more--enough to make it impossible to leave with just one item. The coolers are equally tempting, stocked with classics like rice pudding, tres leches cake, and flan. And then there are the hot tamales--fresh, comforting, and hands down my favorite item in the entire place. They're worth the trip alone. The setup is simple and old-school: grab a tray, pick up a pair of tongs, and help yourself as you make your way around the shop. It's casual, efficient, and part of what makes the experience feel so authentic. One thing to know before you go--English isn't always spoken, so bringing your abuela along or having a translator phone app handy is helpful. That said, the quality and authenticity of the food make any language barrier completely worth navigating. Lately, their corn muffins have become my new obsession--moist, flavorful, and impossible to resist. Mama Ines delivers the kind of baked goods that feel homemade, generous, and deeply rooted in tradition. If you're looking for authentic bakery treats and aren't afraid to step a little outside your comfort zone, this place is an absolute must.

The workers did not speak to me at all, which was kind of strange, but they were not rude or anything. I like the nice open space for seating, which had some half booth seats along the wall, some regular tables, some benches or single chairs, and some slightly partitioned areas with tables. I think with this, just about all the desired seating options are covered. Ordering at the counter is done for service whether it is sit-down or to-go. I had to take mine to-go at my visit. I got my partner an iced mocha and blueberry muffin, and he said he really liked both. I got a graham slam latte, which had all the s'mores flavors topped with cold foam, graham cracker crumbs, and chocolate drizzle. Yum! It was a very rich drink but very worthwhile. I also got a Dubai chocolate cake, which is very decadent. I'm sure I'll be back again!

But the chai was better. It can't be made dairy free I think? We were the only ones there so we didn't wait long for drinks. But we got a few empanadas, which they warmed up for us. The beef and the potato one. Decent. Really great place to check out in Indy.

Not sure why people keep going to it. But my last straw was ordering a cake for my baby's birthday party they took the order took my money ($45) and told me at what time it would be ready. Simone called and left a voicemail that did not give any explanation whatsoever and when I called back to see what was going on no answer no response (I was calling like a toxic ex smh) yes. That much smh. Went to the location they had a note on the door they are boycotting the U.S due to the immigration policy. I'm all for whatever movement you want to follow. But I needed my daughter's birthday cake. I'm so disappointed you could've went someone else and gave them my money. Now they deleted their purpose and I have to shop at an American store that they were trying so much to avoid. ‍ Necesitan mejorar en todo. Fui hacer una order de pastel para el cumpleaños de mi hija. El pastel fue pagado por completo! Aceptaron mi orden y me dijieron a qué horas iba estar listo.

My boyfriend and I came on Mother's day (unintentionally) and we waited about 10-15 minutes to sit at the bar. Getting our orders taken & our food served definitely took a bit of time, but we enjoyed seeing all the cooks in action and getting to smell all the amazing smells!! I got Grandpa's one pan skillet and my boyfriend got the sausage breakfast sandwich on croissant bread. All I gotta say is those chefs definitely knew what they were doing! The flavors were unique and intentional and I enjoyed every bite. The home fries (potatoes) were also so yummy and everything was cooked really well. There's nothing basic about borage and I love that! This place is a gem. They also have a cafe/market area where you can order drinks and pastries. I wish we waited until we got seated to order drinks because the menu was much more extensive than what I saw in the cafe and I would have ordered a different drink had I seen all the other options. The staff here are also very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our little brunch and will be back with family next time!
