Dr Nikraz is a top sells man, who doesn't care too much about your well being nor saving your teeth. I went to him last October (a year ago) to fix couple cavities, as he was taking my insurance. Well a year later and I am still trying to fix the damage he did to my teeth. I would call him rather a butcher than a dentist of any sort. While most dentist leave the small micro cavities alone and do not trill a huge hole into a good tooth, he does exactly that. And thanks to his sloppy work, I was on painkillers for a whole month and I had to travel to Europe on top of that. So my whole trip was ruined due the pain and the drowsiness from the pills. When I got back, I went to another dentist and showed them my previous x-rays. Needless to say they did not agree with Dr Nikraz approach and said that he caused unnecessary damage to 2 of my teeth and that most of the seals were broken and they have to re-do everything. Dr Nikraz also told me that I need 2 root canals with crowns - luckily, I told him I will do it after my trip. The other dentist said I would not need even one!! Also, he did the worst tooth cleaning on me ever and convinced me to pay 60 bucks for a special 5 second bacteria killing mouth rinse "because I really needed it" right!!! Do not trust him. Save your teeth and go to somebody else. The rest of the employees are super friendly and helpful. They deserve 5 stars. read more

I was assigned to this dentist with my new insurance. I went in for X-rays and a cleaning. The dentist REFUSED to clean my teeth, stating I needed the "deep cleaning" procedure, which happens to be quite extensive and very expensive. I didn't believe him, so I went back to my previous dentist for a second opinion. My former dentist, said I was being scammed. He said my teeth and gums are healthy and he would NEVER consider doing a deep cleaning to my teeth. Clearly, he just wants to make more $$. I just cancelled my new insurance and complained about this BAIT AND SWITCH dentist. I can only say, STAY AWAY from this guy. I felt hustled and it turned out to be true. read more

Both my wife and I have had dental work done by Dr. Nikraz within the past 6 months and have found that Dr. Nikraz is in fact very nice. That said, I also want to say that I have had some of the most concerning things happen while being treated there. With so many things that went wrong, I must tell you about the one that stands out the most. I needed a crown and so I waited until my insurance kicked in to help offset the cost a bit, well once in the chair I was informed that the crown that was needed was not covered by the insurance and that he would give me a deal on a top of the line crown that costs $1495, but would cut me a deal and give it to me for $1150. . . so with the understanding that it wasn't covered by the insurance I went ahead and went with the crown he offered and in the process also needed a filling on the tooth next to the tooth that was being prepped for a crown. . . at the end of the day I had a bill for $1405 WOW!!! While in the chair the pain during the prep for the crown was just too much and the dr. told me we're just about done, but if I needed any more novacane he could give me some and I said YES. When he started to inject the med I felt "the PINCH" and he said WOW, your NOT even numb??? WOW!!! I called my insurance and after talking to (6) different people all of which told me it WAS a covered item and should have only been $350 I told the dr. and he said that he called, spoke to a guy and the guy told the dr. that it wasn't covered and so here we go. . . I wen't back about 2 weeks later to get the crown put on and asked if he was going to numb the area and he said no it wasn't needed. . . After squirming and saying ouuu and ouch sever times, the dr. said we are almost done and this is as bad as it gets, so if you could just hang in there for a few more minutes we will be all done. . . So I hung in there and when he placed the new crown on with the glue (very cold glue) it was way too much and about sent me to the roof, I asked if I could get up for a minuet and he said no he needed to finish . . . After he was supposedly done and I was out of the chair I felt something on another tooth about 3 teeth over and asked if there was some glue still on my teeth? I sat back in the chair and sure enough, glue on the inside of my mouth on a tooth 3 spaces over. . . I have had 2 total hip replacements and would choose to have another before I would go to this dentist ever again!!! Again, there were so many things that were wrong about the few visits to this dentist that there isn't enough time or space to write about, but I will say this much, for all of you that want GOOD Dentistry work done at a fare price, make sure you look beyond this one and find one that will do you right :-( read more

I hate to even give this place 1 star! I have taken all 3 of my children there and although the staff was friendly enough the dentist himself is a QUACK! I took my daughter in for a tooth ache. He told me she only had one very small cavity and that the cavity was so small that there was no need for a filling. After convincing him that it was hurting her and maybe we should just go ahead and fill the cavity he lectured me on what kind of filling to give her. I left the office with the cavity untreated. The next week I took her to a different dentist, after xrays and an exam they informed me she had 7 cavities that needed treatment right away!!! He also saw my 5 year old son, said no xrays were needed. He had his cleaning and exam. After the exam he said his teeth looked great and told me I should have his teeth painted with flouride, which my insurance didn't cover. So I paid him $25 for the flouride painting. Now 8 months later my son has 4 huge cavites that will need baby root canals and caps. All which could have been avoided if he would have just done his job!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! read more

Staff was friendly, but the dentist is shady. Went in for a consultation and estimate, and he quoted me prices anywhere between 2 and 6 times what my insurance price booklet said the costs should be. When I brought the booklet in and asked him about the discrepancy, he told me flat out that he doesn't honor those prices, that they pay for "Hyundai quality", while he provides "Lexus quality". When I asked if he was bound to honor the prices for my share of cost, he said no. My insurance thinks otherwise, but I switched to another dentist while they iron out the differences. Dr. Nikraz has been my dentist for years now and I drive a good distance to go see him. I saw Dr. Nick today and once again I'm so pleased with the outcome! I've been seeing him for a short while but my teeth were in terrible neglect and neede many things done. He worked with me to take things in stages because he understood that I really couldn't do a lot at a time financially. A year ago he told me that one of my molars was in desperate need for a crown and if I didn't take care of soon, it would more than likely become a root canal. Well, I didn't have the ability to do it at the time and then COVID-19 hit and so I put it off even longer. During that time that tooth broke in half and when the pain started to come on weeks later it got unbearable. I went to see him and he evaluated it and said yes you need a root canal. he took great care of me and sent me to a specialist to drill the roots out and a specialist is very good as well. When I went back to Dr. Nik, he had my perfect crown put in place and I've been pain-free ever since it looks and feels beautiful! Today I returned and had another molar crown because he said if it doesn't get done it will more than likely be a root canal in six months. He took the time to go over everything with me and showed me in detail on my x-rays. This molar was a childhood filling and it was cracked, broken, and decaying. He did that work today, he even made the most of the Novocain and replaced another old feeling nearby and repaired three small cavities that were yellowing near the front of my smile and they REALLY bothered me. I regret having to put off my teeth after so long because it made me not wanna smile. I always had such a pretty teeth as a youth, but now they were just looking gross and I didn't want to smile big. I'm so excited today because I came home and looked in the mirror and my teeth look beautiful! we still have a little work to do and whitening, but he's been working with me on every step to help make it affordable. He truly is an artist! His staff is so nice and friendly and his office is beautifully painted with tropical paradise and clean!! read more

Going to the dentist isn't supposed to feel like your going to an auto mechanic, but here it does. There's always more work needed that isn't insured, they're sure to re-book too soon, add on services and make you feel like you're not taking care of your teeth if you don't buy the extra things. read more

Have been going to Dr Nikraz for over 6 years now. I've also been taking my children. Great service, very caring and knows his stuff. My youngest child was told by another dentist that he needed several crowns and I was horrified. Went to Dr Nikraz for a second opinion and he said there was no such thing. He is very conservative and takes a conservative approach. I was shocked to read that others were saying he is very aggressive and takes you for your money. On the contrary he is the opposite. In Dr. Nikraz' haste to file down a new upper crown that was too big, he ground into my existing lower crown exposing the metal underneath the porcelain. It was obvious from his motions that he was frustrated because he had to work so hard to make the new crown fit. Also, we were oversold and overcharged by a few thousand dollars. Beware. read more

I had my first and last visit with Dr.Nikraz. I have to say the office staff is very friendly. I went in because I had a very painful toothache. He looked at my ex rays and said I have cavities in teeth that were not hurting. He then examined my teeth and commented several times on my plaque. He seemed almost obsessed with it. He still at this point hadn't even looked at the tooth that was hurting me. He then briefly looked at the hurting tooth and proceeded to briefly clean my teeth. I brought up the hurting tooth again since he still had not addressed it. He took a brief look and said he didn't see anything wrong with it.. I explained again the level of pain it was causing me and detailed description of my symptoms. Frankly he seemed disinterested in the tooth that was hurting. I asked how can I be in such pain and nothing is wrong. He suggested that maybe it waws sinuses or gum problems. I had the feeling he did not want to deal with my hurting tooth. He said maybe an endodontist could figure it out. He was concluding the visit and I had to remind him of the cavities he pointed out. He reluctantly showed the ex rays again and backtracked on his initial diagnosis. He then recommended an Endo he works with and said he would give me a discount on a deep cleaning. I felt this visit was a waste of my time. He didn't seem to care how much pain I was in and did not address the issue I came in for. He demeanor was indifferent other than the plaque issue which he seemed overly agitated about. I almost left in tears from the pain and disregard I was treated with. read more

Decent service, would not recommend to anybody. I have not been to a dentist who wouldn't clean my teeth without an additional purchase to "kill plaque" buildup. Refused to move forward with my checkup when I said I wouldn't pay for the optional medication, and on top of it all they had me waiting for over an hour, just to refuse me my no charge checkup. read more

They are the worst dentist I have ever been to in my life and I have been to a lot of dentists throughout my life. First, the xrays were done by someone that was so unprofessional and untrained that she had to take so many xrays due to her errors. Then she set the thing she puts in my mouth into the place where people spit and tried to put it in my mouth again. I stopped her because that was the last straw. Then the dentist came in and was very rude -we refer to him at our house as the Soup Nazi dentist - if you watch Seinfeld you will know what I mean. We went back to our original dentist that wasn't in our plan and paid out of pocket for a professional teeth cleaning and a professional nice dentist. read more

Horrible dentist. They don't even have a dental hygienist. I was bleeding everywhere when I was getting a cleaning! When I got X-rays, I was bleeding because it hurt so bad and I kept saying ow! I recently got my cleaning with Dr NIK. I have to admit I'm very afraid of going to the dentist, however, my experience here at Artistic Dentistry was very pleasant. Dr NIK was very nice and professional. He spent a lot of time answering my questions and made me feel very comfortable in the chair. I wish I could give ZERO stars. HORRIBLE. Do not trust this guy or anyone in the office. They are scam artists. I have never had an issue with my teeth and I was assigned this dentist with my new insurance. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning, got X-rays and then Dr. Nick came in. He immediately jumps into telling me that I need a deep cleaning, which I have never even heard of. That my teeth are way beyond being able to be helped from a routine cleaning and that my gums look horrible and I have "full on gingivitis." I asked how much this all would cost and when he went to check I yelped his office and immediately read multiple reviews that all sounded very similar to what was happening to me. After the front office woman told me I would have a $0 copay she charged me $12 for an office visit. I left and went to a trusted dentist that was not covered under my insurance and they said I was not even close to needing a deep cleaning. They said my teeth were so clean and they barely needed to do anything. TOTAL SCAM. Just trying to get money. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. RUN AWAY AND RUN FAST. read more
