Yoyo sis my full set the best I've ever had. She was magician and took her time to make sure they were perfect. I'm super picky because if there's anything wrong,I end up picking at them, and I know I won't be doing that with these. So I highly recommend Artistic nail spa and especially Yoyo for your full set.
I visited artistic nails on 5/27 with my aunt and cousin. Both my aunt and mother go to this salon very often, and have said great things about it. However, I had the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon. My aunt, cousin, and I all had appointments at 1pm for pedicures and full sets. We started right at 1pm with the pedicures. The woman doing my pedicure laughed with the girl next to her and said to me "you have big toes" first red flag. When we started with the nails, I told her that I wanted dip powder and that I wanted to add length to my nails. She told me that she couldn't do a dip French tip with dip, so she used dip for the pink base color and then used gel polishes on top. She used square tips on my nails and used a nail cutter to shape the sides of the nails to a coffin shape. This resulted in every single one of my nails being a completely different shape and very crooked. Some of my nails are very wide where she added the tips. You can also see where she over drilled the pink and can see my nail unnderneath. She also told me that she had to cut my nails to add the tips and she cut all of my nails off. When she was done with my purple French tip, almost all of my nails had purple all over the sides of my nails, and the base color was way too pink. It looked like nails that you would do at an adolescent slumber party, not nails that you would pay a professional for. As I said, we started at 1pm, and I did not get out of the chair until 3:50pm. With how long this took, I expected soooo much more. After I was done, we waited until 4:45pm for my cousin's nails to be done. We brought the issues with my nails to another tech's attention. We told them about the color bleeding on the sides and the odd shapes of the nails. They did not listen to what we said about the shapes. They had another tech file the bleeding polish away. She asked if they were better and I told her that the color was better, but they are still shaped poorly. She did not even respond to that. I will absolutely never come back, and I'll stick to sparkle nails in happy valley, or any other nail salon that can do a somewhat decent job.
Joey always does an amazing job g job- the entire team is so thoughtful and sweet. Best place to go for nails in the Portland area hands down.
I was happy they were able to get my friend and I in last minute (hence the 2 stars) on Mother's Day however this is one of those places that likes to upcharge you at the end of the service. I asked for a full set of acrylics, mani and pedi. The lady who did my service wasn't the friendliest and she started in on my full set first, I reminded her I wanted a mani aka my real nails cut down, cuticles treated and a massage, she didn't really listen to me and continued with the acrylics so I just assumed she would do the cuticles and massage after (nope!). I got a couple nails with design which I knew would be an extra charge. Next was the pedicure which I at first told her I wanted regular polish but she talked me into getting shellac and told me she could do this very basic glitter paint design on the big toes so I agreed. The pedicure was super basic, massage was awful and she never actually asked what kind of pedicure I wanted (I would've opted for the most expensive stone pedicure but at that point I was annoyed with her unfriendly service). Now it came time to pay and I was charged $40 for 'solar full set' when acrylics are listed as $35. I told the guy I was not told I was being offered a more expensive set and he said something about the solar being the only set they offer now - so maybe remove 'Acrylics $35' off your menu??? Then I was charged the same price for design on my toes as I was on my hands and really all she did was put a little glitter on the big toes only - nothing close to what was done on my hands. Pictures below for reference. So when places want to surprise their clients with surprise fees and gouge them that comes off your tip, sorry not sorry. Stick to the prices on the menu in your business and don't overcharge for things that took no more than 30 seconds to do. $11 for "design" on my big toes is just ridiculous. We won't be back.

Nope she informed me at the end if I wanted that it's an extra $5. Also, nails are bumpy in places. Pedicure looks worse than it I did it myself. Save yourself some time and money, go somewhere else.
Joey knocked it out the park yet again with the classic oval french tip. My pedicure was so relaxing I dozed off a couple of times, wake up to a perfect ten toes sporting the perfect summer pink popping with color!
Definitely the best nail salon in Milwaukie IMO. The staff is always extremely friendly! The salon is always clean, plenty of parking, and the overall experience for me has always been positive! They take good care of you and seem to work on the more gentle side which I prefer. Highly recommend and will continue going back!
Jenny is the absolute best. I payed $50 for a full set and it is 100% worth the money. Jenny is details oriented and was beyond kind to me. She noticed that something was up with me and she told me that this is my time to relax and enjoy the pampering. You have no idea how badly I needed to hear that. Thank you Jenny for your beautiful work and kindness you showed me. I will be returning

Two of my neighbors recommended Artistic Nails. Tram graciously answered all my questions and reserved a 45 minute manicure slot the next day with Julie. Julie and I discussed gel, shellac and dipped ... I decided on dipped because it lasts the longest. I'm very happy with the results, after asking for short, oval nails, a soft Barbie pink "jelly" finish and smooth cuticles. Julie gently pampered me for 1 hr and 15 minutes and did not rush. Cost $49 cash. I'm more than satisfied and will definitely return :)
Had come here because the last place ruined a brand new set. I tried coming here before but they were always too busy. They got me in with Lisa who took off the nails and out in a new set. They turned out beautiful and she listened to how I wanted them. I love coming here, the staff is very friendly read more

I was really impressed with my experience at Artistic Nails and Spa. I made a same day appointment, and they were ready for me right on time. They have an easy check in process. I got the Deluxe pedicure and my technician did a fabulous job throughout. The shop is clean and the massage chairs were comfortable. I was a little concerned because the side of my big toe had been hurting for a while (like an ingrown toenail, but not right on the edge and I couldn't fix it), so I've been forgoing a pedicure; but it is sandal season and my snaggly, self-painted toes just couldn't be allowed out to the viewing public. Not only did my technican not cause any extra pain on my toe during the pedi, whatever she did actually relieved the pain! I now have cute AND pain-free toes. I asked for nail art, and it turned out so nice! I will be back again soon. read more

Visited this place tonight... Worst nail place I've been to. I wanted a fill. Lady was obviously inexperienced. She was rough with my nails/cuticles. Cut me two times. Put some sort of chemical on my cuticles after she sanded them down raw and that shit burned like hell. After telling her it burned she ignored me. My nails look messy like a young child did them. Didn't even put cuticle oil on them after she was done. The whole staff was talking in a different language which didn't bug me but they were clearly laughing and talking about me. I don't recommend this place. Will never come back again. read more

This salon is hands down the best salon I have ever encountered. The prices are right, the service is exceptional, they really care about their work and stand behind it. I come here every 3 weeks and I will continue to do so for many years to come. I highly recommend coming here. read more

This was probably my 5th or 6th time coming. I love their pedicures! They do a great job and the wax treatment at the end is wonderful. Their prices are fair. Today I got a shellac manicure which has me considering whether to come back or not. The lady cut me with the nail file, my nails are filed crooked, and there is gel coating my fingertips. read more

I went in for a manicure, and was quite happy with the overall experience. The facility took great precaution by making sure each customer washed their hands before signing waivers , disinfecting safety glass after each person, and enforcing masks for all. My technician asked if I wanted a pedicure, but I said no cause I only had time for a mani; however, when I saw the results under the sun, I decided I needed a pedicure too. Definitely making an appointment for one tomorrow. read more

I've never left a review for anything in my life but this was the absolute worst shellac mani I have ever had. My normal place was busy this week but of course I'm on a time crunch to get my nails done for a wedding in San Diego this weekend. I walked in and everyone was nice enough, fit me right in, etc. I chose a really opaque light pink for my nails and a pink sparkly one to go on top. One gal did my toes while another did my nails. She was really rough on my cuticles and even cut my thumb - had to put that annoying glue on it before I left. The gal doing my toes kept hitting the shellac light on the fresh polish EVERY time. So I now have bumps and dents on my left toenails. The manicure was the most annoying. She was haphazardly applying the light pink as if the streaks and uncovered areas would magically disappear under the light. Newsflash: it doesn't work like that. I thought maybe the second coat would be better. No such luck. She then added the sparkly color and it dried in weird clumps to the side of my nails and when everything was done there were white streaks and dots in every nail where the polish hadn't adhered properly, built up sparkles in weird places, and a TON of excess product left on my cuticles and skin. The kicker: since I was sitting in the pedicure chair for this manicure...I wasn't able to get up to wash my hands. She sprayed acetone on my nails to clean them which is fine but she sprayed it all over my jeans which are now ruined. All of this nonsense cost me $72 and I will never be back. Get yourself a good nail gal and don't stray. Learned my lesson and will be going to my normal place to have these fixed ASAP. read more

really happy with this place! it's the first nail salon i've tried in oregon and i'm so glad i found a perfect one on my first go! i got black solar gel acrylics, almond shaped, the total was $50! they did amazing and i'm so happy with the finished product. solar acrylics cost an additional $5 to normal acrylics, and they last longer. to shape my nails to an almond point, it was another additional $5. not bad at all! i definitely recommend artistic nails! read more

Best Gel Polish I have ever had!!!! Others wont go all the way to the bed of your nail but she got all the way and its beautiful!!! Gentle and great attrition to detail!! I never write reviews but I was so impressed I just had to sit in the parking lot and wrote one! This is minutes from my house and I will be back!! read more

I was very impressed by the skill of the Artist Julie, and she was very professional! I showed her a picture, and she came up with something even better! The only thing I would change is the atmosphere, there was no music playing, and it smelled very strong of removal chemicals. But the nail work was worth it- I'll definitely be going back! read more

i went to this nail place for months, always been happy with my nails. i always get simple french tips with different colors. this time, my friend and i went, the receptionist was doing my nails (?) and i showed a reference picture and at the end, they were thick af and not what i wanted at all. they were SO messed up and crooked. the guy grabbed my card from me without telling me the price. SEVENTY DOLLARS. before, they had been $50 at most, which i didn't mind paying because i always liked them. they took down their sign that says the prices, and charge you a different amount everytime. they pull the prices out of nowhere. my friend got a basic coffin set just pink, no design, not long, NOTHING. she got charged $65. below is a pic of them after leaving the salon. so janky, unprofessional, never going back!! read more

Honestly the best nail salon I've ever been to. The ladies there are so sweet & friendly, I never feel like they are talking crap about me when they speak in a different language (like I do sometimes at other salons) me and my mother come here all the time with my baby sister and they absolutely love her, they are always so happy when we walk in the door and greet us with big smiles and warm hellos. Not only is the staff amazing but they are all very talented & always do so well with my nails. They know exactly what kind of shape to give me to best fit my hand shape. I'm always satisfied 100% when i leave and I will continue returning here as long as they are in business. I don't mind driving 40 minutes from Camas, WA because this is by far my favorite salon in the Pacific Northwest !!! :) :) :) read more

I think the basic is $25 or $30 for a mani and about the same for the pedi. They do have a menu of services that include hot wax for mani and pedi. I really enjoy the atmosphere and they have really good customer service. They also take walk ins…
