Arts Garage is such a gem to have right in our backyard! We went to see The Women of Rock tribute band and had the best time. From Pat Benatar to Joan Jett to Janis Joplin and more, the music had us rocking out, dancing, and singing along all night. The energy in the room was contagious and made for such a fun evening. It's always a pleasure to stop by the box office and say hello to Andi -- she adds such a warm touch to the experience. I'm already looking forward to the next show and feel so grateful to have this treasure of a venue nearby. Can't wait to come back for another unforgettable night!

This is a really fantastic community space with so much going on here and really wonderful to have in the neighborhood. It tends to be mostly cover bands, but I've seen some unique acts, book signings, plays, and open mic nights here. There is a bit of a gallery space in the lobby, and the performance room is intimate. The seating is a bit wonky, since it's all table based with banquet chairs. Tickets are for specific tables, not seats. While some tables have ample room all around, others are very tight. It's easy to get stuck in a spot with not a great view, facing the wrong direction, or really tight up against other tables and chairs. Unfortunately that happened to me not only this time, but previous times I've been here. There were was barely enough space for my chair, and I had to ask for them to move some tables around to get just a bit more room. Even then, it was still tight. There are definitely better roomier tables than I got, so it's really hit or miss. It's still a wonderful community place, and I'll be back again, but I'll try to scope out a better seat next time.

What a great little venue in downtown delray. Came here on a Friday evening for an Elvis impersonator. Show was 8-10pm. You're seated at tables and can bring your own food. A lot of people had anything from pizza and cheese and crackers. You can buy drinks at the bar which were very reasonably priced, they had a bunch of bottles of wine for $20-$30. Volunteers who worked there were all very nice and friendly. I can imagine parking might be difficult, we had parked down the block where we are dinner.

Wow! I cannot believe it's taken me this long to find this place. Such a great venue right here in Delray Beach. I like that it's so incredibly laid back... simple, just a large room with tables, a stage. Located right in the heart of town, on street level. Just walk in, go right into the venue or stop by the very basic "bar" for some beer or wine to take in with you. Pricing is fair for everything, including tickets... it's a non- profit. Went to see a Reggae Group that was doing a tribute to Bob Marley... main singer used to play with Bob. The band was great. Venue acoustics were great... love being so close... pretty much all the tables provide awesome seating. For this show you could select your table in advance... even though you select your seats online when you purchase your tickets, the seats are actually not reserved... you pick any seat at your table when you arrive. Worked out well. The staff, all volunteers, who work here are the nicest people! Really love this place!! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We saw the Rusty Wright Band last night. The music was excellent & the venue perfect. My only negative comment is that when you buy a ticket at a specific table, although you choose a seat, it's still first-come, first served. This is an unnecessary rule & inconveniences those who prefer to come on time, not an hour earlier, just to sit in the seat they paid for. read more

The Arts Garage is a great idea... but they need to book better talent. They are missing their audience. The acts we've seen were stale, old and more like third rate cruise ship senior "entertainment"... really bad. Love the idea, idle they start to have good acts it will be great. So far, it's a bust. read more

This was my second time at the Arts Garage and the experience was even better than the first time. Last night we saw Women of Rock. They were amazing!!! On Saturday, May 18, a group of my friends and I saw Ann Hampton Callaway at the venue. From the moment we arrived food trolleys in tow, your staff of volunteers were amazing. We bought these tickets for Start Me Up Rolling Stones band a few months ago to get choice reserved seating. The decor of the room was tastefully decorated with blacked table cloths and black draped chairs. Our seats were perfectly aligned with the stage! The group came out in high - voltage from every performer playing their heart out! They began with "Jumping Jack Flash and completed the concert with " Satisfaction!" In between they probably played close to every Stones song you could imagine including " Give Me Shelter" which brought down the house with their laid back sole female performer with the Mick Jagger imitator catapulting the audience to a standing ovation with a voice comparable to Blondie, Pat Benetar and Heart! Popular Opinion was that this was the best performance out of the great groups that South Florida has dished up over the years!! read more

I went to see The Motowners & they were fantastic, very energetic group of talented singers, it started at 8p & didn't wrap up till about 1045p, they sang everything from the Temptations to the Supremes, everybody was up & dancing, they really got the auduence amped up, it was a fun evening, I had never been to The Arts Garage, honestly I was completely unaware of it, but will def be going back as there are many performances to choose from read more

Went to a performance there not long ago featuring a jazz group. Venue has seating for a lot of people and it was full. They sell drinks and it would be better if they had more bar stations to accommodate the loyal crowds. The sound system was too loud in my opinion . I had to put my fingers in my ears which made the sound tolerable. Great space and venue for musicians of all genres. read more

Whether you're a "local" or visiting the area definitely find time for a show. The 2024 has something for everyone! I saw Gerry Williams & his Stevie Wonder tribute band. The venue is just the right size and acustics were great. Open seating tables allows for meeting others. You can bring in yournown food. Reasonable and easy to purchase tickets too. I wish we had a spot like this back home. read more

What a jewel to have Arts Garage in our back yard. Wonderful relaxed venue presenting great talent. Last night we thoroughly enjoyed Chuchito Valdes, and what a show! Seating is open at reserved tables of 8, all drinks must be purchased by credit card in house and you're welcome to bring your own snacks. Great variety of events from comedy to rock, blues, jazz and theatre. And a big thank you to the city of Delray Beach for supporting the Arts! read more

I have been the Arts Garage a number of times and it has always been a great place to see entertainment. It is well-run and organized. The venue is intimate enough so you feel like part of the show. The only thing I do not like is that they went completely cashless -from buying a ticket to paying a few dollars for a soft drink..So if you are buying some tickets for several people, you are forced to use a card instead of the money the people give you. Other than that, it is a hidden gem in Downtown Delray. read more

Just back from seeing Copeland Davis sold out show. As always, a great experience. The AG focuses on music of all types, but lots of Blues and Jazz. Jazz is hard to find in South Florida unless its some solo artist doing pre-show in a noisy bar. Good music in small venues at great prices has become almost non-existant, but its on steroids at the AG! The only drawback is that Delray has become so popular, you can't find parking. Yes the AG is in a multi-story garage, but it fills up early on weekends, so book dinner nearby and get there early. read more

I just love the Arts Garage! This venue is the best place to experience an intimate setting for fun, creative, and talented performances of all genres. The audience for the Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra was clearly into this genre-bending vibe filled with a new and upbeat sound. Because of the venue, this music was experienced as a departure from the typical sounds and the audience came away with an "island of music-time" away from one's typical day. A sound bath, if you will. Great music, great venue, great drinks!! A great evening out!! I attended the Juneteenth celebration at the Arts Garage in Delray beach with Julius Sanna & the positively Africa Experience. What a wonderful band and celebration it was! The Arts Garage has such a wide variety of music and this was truly a joyous celebration of this new federally recognized holiday. Nice venue with friendly staff. Check monthly for good talent and art to appreciate. Seating for general admission shows could be cramped and should be spaced better. We feel Arts garage is the best venue in Delray to view good talented entertainers. Caveat: Make dinner plans prior to your show or after since there is no food service besides a few snacks. read more

Last night's show was amazing! Marlow Rosado and his Latin jazz ensemble had the place jumping. I see him everyone he's in town. I've never seen a bad show here. The acoustics are superb and the venue a favorite of top musicians. I love the Arts Garage. read more

Have been walking past Arts Garage for a while and when I saw an event that interested me on the posters around the venue, made it a point to schedule it so I wouldn't forget. Went to purchase tickets at the counter and agents were very friendly. The seats seem to have different prices but will likely be a matter of personal preference, and the time that you arrive will impact seat availability. The event I went to was on July 6 -8pm The William Cepeda Afro-Rican Jazz Project. I was not aware ahead of time that guests are welcome to bring their dinner, snacks, or any food you like (your own utensils, etc also). They sell drinks until 10pm. The show was super fun and met some cool people while there! They have a wide variety of entertainment so I'll be checking back often to see what is coming next :) read more

I have been in Florida for a few months now and I"m delighted to see a venue like this in the community! The music shows are TOP NOTCH and I love that they support local artists and offer open mics every month for poets, musicians, comedians, etc. I went to the poetry open mic last night and read one of my poems and it was such a supportive environment. It was so inspiring to hear the other poets and share our human experience together! Every community needs an Arts Garage! Support local artists/businesses/nonprofits! They need us and we need them!! read more

This is truly a great hidden gem right in the middle of Delray Beach, near the "electric" Atlantic Blvd. with cozy seating; every table is a good seat! Pricing is a value for this top shelf level of quality artist performances. Parking is super easy in the adjacent modern parking garage. The venue acoustics, engineered by the talented sound engineer Noah, is superb and not overbearing. Open floor space for some impulse dancing. Our show was the magnificent and well accomplished Latin musical genius Señor Marlow Rosado and his amazing band; Gamalier Reyes-Percussionist, Pablo Molina-Percussionist, Mike Rivera-Bass, and Ivan Odio. We were totally blow away with their performance. Top notch. We will be joining the Garage for regular performances going forward. Definitely an arts business that should be supported. My Husband and I went out on a night date to see Gina Brillon. Our first time at Arts Garage and it was great! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We got there a bit early to grab a bite to eat and one of the staff suggested we could go buy or order something and eat it there! We got couple of slices of piazza and purchased a drink at the venue. Dinner and a show all in one. We will definitely come back! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Marjorie W.

CEO Marjorie Waldo, M.Ed., a graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in Drama, received her Master's in Educational Leadership from FAU. A career educator with over 25 years' experience, Marjorie's passion was founded in building schools where the most vulnerable students feel loved and respected. Her work supported the high school graduation of over 200 dropouts. A turn-around expert, she is accomplished at strategic planning, organizational growth, and programming. With a love for small not for profits, Marjorie honed her skills in fundraising & development, successfully managed budgets ranging from $1 to $8 million and has written over $2 Million successful grants. Marjorie's love for the performing arts is rooted in her belief that their universality gives theater and music the power to foster a sense of belonging for a beautifully diverse population and to heal communities by bringing people together.

Double roads and funky biscuit and many other music venues around this neighborhood, between Boca and Jupiter, have actual bands playing actual musical instruments. So if you're interested in that, you might want to go elsewhere. I don't really come here for the music. I sort of come here too just watch the interesting array of characters that pop inside. And just to relax while having a drink. The music is OK though. I guess it's better than just listening to TouchTunes. And some of the Fake musicians do put on a good show. The biggest problem with the spot is the attitude of the bartenders. I'm not saying that they're bad people. But they're really not happy. And the odd thing is, having lived in Santa Barbara and many other beach towns, it's a rare thing to live in such a beautiful place or working in one at least, and be so pissed off. Particularly when you're young. So I don't know what their problem is, but I think whoever owns this place should take them on a field trip or something. Maybe buy them a new watch or a car or whatever. Still, there are exceptions. And it's not a bad place if you're going be in tourist trap Delray. Which I would avoid in general. Unfortunately their lead singer was sick but they put on a great show with New Wave classics and Cure songs. The weather was perfect for a night of music under the stars. Bring a chair and your friends and have a great evening out. The event has food trucks and they sell alcohol, soda, and water. Outside coolers are not permitted. The Old School Square bathrooms are open so you don't have to worry about port a potties like at a lot of other festivals. Next month is Hot Brass, a Chicago and Earth, Wind, and Fire tribute band. After the concert there is a number of restaurants and bars open on Atlantic, a few steps away. I highly recommend stopping at Sloan's for ice cream.

We were so disappointed by the condition of this hotel and the apparent attempt at repeatedly padding the room service and bar bills. We stayed for two weeks due to an insurance claim that left us without a livable home. We booked the suite because we both had to work from the room instead of out of our two home office. I must say that the valet, bellman and room service staff were exceptional, but I had to repeatedly ask for reverses on bills, rooms to be cleaned and more. Each time we ordered room service for breakfast we got more than we ordered or items were missing and were charged for it. I had to show management photos of issues for them to address it and though they put an english speaking person answering the phones, the double food and charging still continued. Austin, the server, had to repeatedly remove extra food, adjust bills, etc. The task of getting receipts was daunting and I had to ask management repeatedly to secure the room service bills to ensure that the credits were accurately billed. The bar needs to be watched as well. We are there twice for dinner and I order a glass of Pablo Rojas. When I checked the bill I was charge $24 instead of $18. When asked, the bartender stated that there were two on the menu. He never asked me which one wanted. This seems to be a common practice. The housekeeping was lacking. The room was infested with sugar ants and when I complained, I was told that they are difficult to manage because of the sugar on the coffee bar but did not rectify the issue. When we checked in I was walking the room with white socks and they ended up filthy.. I had to request that the floors be cleaned. There was also hair in the shower upon check in. We repeatedly had to request that our room be cleaned even though the assistant manager checked with me at check-in and we agreed that it would be cleaned every day at 10:15am. I never heard from him again. The coup-de-gras was our floor leaked and was getting the carpet wet. The first time I complained I was told that engineering has checked it out and that there were no pipes under the floor to create a problem. The carpet was left wet. I complained again and engineering came to our room twice again that evening and agreed that the floor was leaking, but they did not know from where. We lived with a wet carpet the entire time ( no shop-vac, carpet cleaning,). I had to ask management to replace our coffee cups with clean mugs instead of rinsing out and replacing. Housekeeping does not keep any clean glassware of mugs. They just rinse and return. I finally kept disposable cups and styrofoam coffee cups in the room....the sanitation is disgusting.

Hard not to agree with Josie. I am a retired traveling rock and blues (major acts) and studio musician (LA, NY, Nashville, Muscle Shoals, London). After 40+ years of work I have lost 35% of hearing in both ears. An occupational hazard. THE MUSIC HERE IS TOO LOUD. If I find it loud it is damaging the hearing of the members of the audience. As this place has become more successful (great job) the egos has grown proportionately and those in charge don't seem to want to listen. TURN THE VOLUME DOWN. Has anyone ever complained that the volume is too low? The idea of earplugs is idiotic and even laughable. The club has a good sound system - good fidelity and robust. Earplugs destroy this. Marjorie - The house manager shouldn't need a volunteer to inform her of this. If people leaving the show is not sending the message, then I don't know what will. As a volunteer I have heard this issue many times and the only response I have ever received when I brought it to the house manager's attention is that "the band determines the volume level." This borders on ignorance IMO. Is not the audience a consideration? Is the band paying for the tickets? Earplugs are not the answer. Lowering the volume is. This is a total no-brainer. As a volunteer and a donor, I respectfully ask you to address this situation while I still can hear. read more

The Arts Garage is fabulous. The entertainment and talent are the best anywhere in Florida. Last night we saw the show Woodstock. Wow. The place was rocking with high energy and fun. Any show you see there is so fantastic. You get treated special by the ushers who take you to your table and always friendly. We can bring our own food and there is a bar to purchase drinks.. You must go to experience the night. You'll walk away feeling like you were in a New York City Cabaret, with the best entertainment and service. Art's Garage - Gala Gig lll Night of the Gypsies, ..... unfortunately it really did not deliver. The price for the event was way out of range for the evening, tickets were pricey at $100 a person (times that by two persons). I did have some expectation of quality food and entertainment, baked Ziti and Lasagna (for $100) OMG "really?" and Trio Caliente (unfortunately missed the beat of Spanish or anything close to the sound Gipsy Kings). I had an absolutely amazing experience at arts garage, I went to see Grammy award winning musician Alex Cuba and I had tremendous amount of fun. When I got to the Arts Garage, the people working there were very welcoming and helpful to guiding me to my table. And once the performance started I knew this was going to be a night to remember, the music was truly beautiful and the atmosphere was perfect. Nice venue but music is often too loud. Fair prices for tickets but not snacks and drinks which are ridiculously high. 40 bucks for an $10 bottle of wine?? Great team of employees, but the woman at the box office can be curt and irritable at times. Could use some attitude adjustment perhaps. Otherwise a nice place to hear music. Parking on weekends is impossible take a cab or Uber or be prepared to walk. Forget the garage. Always full. read more

This place is amazing! It is an art gallery that has live shows. I saw an incredible jazz artist, Turk Mauro, from New York, one night, and another night I saw the most amazing art exhibit, in charcoal and other media, along with an amazing Drag performance that brought the house down. They have had Brazilian music, classical and alternative, and there is lots more jazz coming. Check this place out! read more

We were curious what Haitian Jazz would sound like so we bought tickets at Art's Garage for the Wednesday night show featuring Jean Chardavoine. We were pleasantly surprised for the beautiful music that we heard. Anyone who missed this show missed some of hottest Jazz sounds I have ever heard. We went to see Mark Zaleski jazz band last night. Just a delight. Love arts garage. The venue is lovely as u can eat there while watching, not a huge room, acoustics great, andvery intimate. Venue for virtually every type of cultural medium. The shows are interesting and the talent has always been top drawer. It is also a treat to take your dinner, or have it delivered to your table from one of many nearby . No place else like it here in town. Keep your eyes open to find something which appeals to you. The space is has multiple different rooms so that they can have multiple event at a time in different areas. It makes the common area feel like a office building somewhat. The venue we were pointed to was fine. Again, its for multiple type sof shows so it wasn't a "warm" comedy room which hurt the comedy a little. Some of them I found to be very funny. Others were just working on some jokes and testing it on an audience in a judge free space. The room is like a small garage, and it's very intimate. It's almost like a little hidden gem. It appeared that most of the audience were comedians practicing their bit. I came here to meet up with some friends. The peach has a Mexican restaurant as well as a lot of local art studios. But at the time I was there (late in the evening on a weeknight) the studios were closed. Parking is a little bit odd. There are very limited spaces in the lot. But there is lots of street parking. The night I was there though, I had to park a little far away. The event was free, and so was the parking which was great. I would love to come back and explore more art experiences. The show was chaotic, but well run.
