Speaking of rides, I find myself riding home when my wife calls me [hands free call] and asks about doing some Chinese take-out. Ooh. I ask her to place the order and I'll pick it up on my way home. Since she was already home, she found a coupon and took a picture of it. 10 bucks off 50+ and that's a good deal. I figured I could just show the picture and be told that I should bring it in next time - no sweat. Stuff Happens. Well let me tell you: STUFF HAPPENED. Show the picture and "Person A" just has to ask someone and "Person B" walks up and straight out says we can't accept that picture because people can just use that all the time for the discount. After explaining my situation, I was met with another refusal. I suggest that if my order was 50 dollars and I get 10 off AND I go to them every week with this scheme, it would result in $160 in revenue, a month, for them solely for my orders. "Person B" stared at me defiant. I said "So, you are telling me that I have to drive home and back to get the discount?" "Person B": Yes. Me: OK I drive home, grab the VALUPAK mailer, and drive back. This is to the dismay of my wife and I leave it at that. I come back and "Person A" and "Person B" are there. Great. I tell Person B that having to do this is horrible customer service and Person A cannot stop apologizing. Person A gets it. Person B doesn't get it. "Person B": I don't know what to do "Person A": You could be nicer... ? My order has now been readied for me and my discount applied. "Person B": "We took off a couple of extra dollars, but we didn't have to do that." Me, looking at "Person A", who is totally awesome and gets it: Please add 10 Dollars for a tip, then. We got takeout, but it looked like a nice place eat in. The bar had a bunch of people. Crab Rangoon - delicious, filled right up! Pork Fried rice - actually the best rice I've had in a long time, they cook the vegetables not to a pulp so actually had to pick out some onions (they were giving me heartburn, not the restaurants fault!) Hot babe roll - good, sashimi tasted fresh too Also got chicken teriyaki! Was different from the typical Chinese, but very good, almost lightly breaded. We dined in on a Saturday around 3:30pm. We ordered sushi and it was delicious!!! The only reason they didn't receive all 5 stars is because the place was basically dead - maybe 3 tables had people, and yet the service was SOOOOO SLOWWWW! We just recently moved Close by and this restaurant all three times we have been has been amazing! Great online ordering or you can also call and there's someone friendly to speak to. Orders are done quickly and picked up at their window for contactless pick up. I can't wait for them to actually open up so I can sit inside to eat, which I hope is soon. Awesome customer service and food. Usually, it's either one or the other. I placed my order with eat 24. There was some confusion but it got sorted. Then I'm told the restaurant doesn't deliver to our town. Starting to feel defeated, the owner let it slide and threw in a few freebies. Delicious food. A little bit pricey. The chicken and shrimp hibachi dinner is very fresh and tasty. I especially loved the rice it came with - very moist, fluffy, with egg and some veggies. There was plenty of food to enjoy leftovers later. Pu pu platter was great except the chicken fingers were mostly batter with hardly any chicken. I really liked that the boneless ribs were not swimming in grease and the crab rangoons were large and full of flavor. Take out was ready quickly. Egg rolls had no flavor, mostly only cabbage. Shrimps were dry, chicken fingers were tasteless, steak tips were ok my husband usually eats both, only ate one. Some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Pad tai that I can't even describe but nothing close to pad tai, fried rice which was just steamed rice with frozen veggies and a pupu platter served on a bare plate with flavorless food. And don't ask for extra duck sauce, you'll get 4 table spoons in a small bowl. To add to that the place was not busy but our food came out in multiple stages and the waitress couldn't be found half the time. First time and definitely last time! read more

Friday night a ton of us got together for some Chinese food. Our good friend placed an order for delivery from Asahi, 44 Nashua Rd in Londonderry, NH. The order for the 9 of us was $120.00 and when delivered we found that half the order was missing. Our buddy then called them and got no satisfaction. They told him it was too busy and it would be about 2 hours before they could get the missing part of the order to us. He asked for a credit and there offer was a credit for the next time he put in an order. He told them that that was unacceptable and to credit it back to his card which they are suppose to be doing but that usually takes a couple of days. We ended up having to keep things warm while he ran out to the Happy Panda in Derry so that we could all eat. It is the last time they will ever order from Asahi in Londonderry again. They lost a good customer all due to poor customer service. Just wanted to make others aware. read more

I honestly do not understand how this restaurant received more than 1 star. They advertise as chinese food but nothing I ordered resembled chinese food. I requested extra sprouts in my rice they failed to mention they do not put sprouts in it. I got carrots. I felt like i was eating I can't even explain. The bartender is great she's fast with service and is very kind. I had three visits to Asahi just before New Years with mixed results. The first visit was for lunch and I enjoyed my Hibachi with steak and shrimp and my wife loved the pork fried rice and dumplings. The next visit was takeout with crab Rangoon, fried rice, chicken fingers and pork fried rice. They did not pack any sweet sauce and it really ruined the meal for us. The last chance I gave them was takeout on a Friday night... I called ahead and ordered Hibachi, steamed dumplings, fried rice.... the Hibachi meal is served in a large tray with separate compartments for the rice, veg, shrimp and steak BUT the put it in the bag sideways and all the food fell down to the bottom of the container and ruined the meal! They also said 20 minuets and it was almost an hour! I do not recommend this place! read more
