Alex spent his valuable Sunday evening to go over how I can resolve this billing dispute with the other contractor. I am sad I did not go with him, he was the most accurate quote, knowledgeable and said the extra work I was charged for was likely unnecessary. I really appreciate Alex taking the time and I am mad I did not go with him to complete my work.

He came to check out the problem and give me a quote. Overall, he was thorough in explaining stuff. What rubbed me the wrong way was how after I asked him for a quote and told him I have one other person checking it out to give me a quote, his tone changed. I explained that this is an expensive project and it would be dumb to just get your price and go with it without checking with at least one other company. I'm not made out of money here. He then gave me the quote and it was literally like twice the range of most panel upgrades. I get that you're licensed, but so are most of these companies. I feel like because of my situation (Edison had cut the power to my place), he was just taking advantage. Admittedly, I was desperate to get it fixed, but I'm not going to pay almost 12k for something that costs around 5k. So he gives me the quote breakdown and four options (all way over average prices), and then I say thanks and that again, someone is also going to stop by and take a look and I'll text him either way. He then gave me a guilt trip about how they reserved the day for me and how it sucks that I'm not just taking the job. At that point, even if the second guy wasn't going to work out, I was not going with this company. Fortunately, the second guy (also licensed) that came was able to pull some strings and get everything done --meter checked, permitted--the next day for a fraction of what Ready Electric quoted me. Power is back on and I didn't spend more than I needed to. For those of you needing electric work: shop around. Oftentimes we need this kind of work done ASAP, but companies will definitely take advantage as was this case. 3 stars because they responded quick and did explain things thoroughly. Clarification based on Ready Electric's reply: The quote was $11,600 for a standard panel upgrade. Yes, my panel was in bad shape, but I was not misrepresenting the situation. If anything, to suggest that your most affordable option was $1k when it was really (according to you) not really an option at all (with zero warranty even) and to leave out your main recommendation (the panel upgrade) is misrepresentative. I credit you for going out of your way and explaining stuff, and I would imagine that as a business, that part of the getting business is time-consuming. Apparently there was an inspection fee that was waived, and the gentlemen that came even asked, "how did you get the inspection fee waived?" Well, no fee was ever mentioned upon calling and making an appointment, and had there been, I would have never made the appointment in the first place. You mentioned that you understand people would get a second opinion and that's good; however, the whole reason I wrote my review (which I rarely do) was because of the guilt trip I was given for doing so. It was unnecessary and a poor persuasion technique. If I were to have said I have another guy coming to get a second opinion and you were like, "absolutely, just let us know if you decide to move forward with us," I would have never wrote my review, or I would've written one that praised the thoroughness of your quoting process. Also, the guy I went with was a referral from my brother's current contractor, but he has never worked with any of us directly. So we didn't have an existing relationship or anything. In fact, when I told him what i was quoted, he laughed and said that's just people trying to take advantage. Again, the point of my review was ultimately to warn people to shop around and not go with the first quote you get, especially if you're in a pinch like I was. Another day without electricity is worth not getting ripped off.

My experience with this company started at 7 AM on a Saturday, when I couldn't get back to sleep so decided to solve the problem of mounting our new TV. I never expected anyone to respond to my request for quotes at that time in the morning, but Rick, of the Cerritos location of The TV Mounting Co., was on the case within 15 minutes - talk about responsiveness! Throughout the day, he continued to be super responsive, asked relevant questions, and provided amazing advice about which mounts to use (top tip - don't make any decisions about mounts before discussing with Rick!). Rick found a slot for our installation on Tuesday, and even accommodated a last minute request for mounting of a second TV! When he arrived, he brought a helper with him. Together, they installed the two TVs in 45 minutes flat. Their expertise was critical in placing the mounts; I had certain ideas of how high I wanted the TVs mounted, but they adjusted to account for the placement of our outlets and some odd stud locations in the wall. Not only were they speedy, they were clean, neat, and precise too. Rick even provided my husband with some advice on AV components as well! I wholeheartedly recommend The TV Mounting Co. - especially the Cerritos location - for all your TV mounting needs. I recently reached out them to get a new HVAC system installed with ducts and boy was I impressed with their service! I needed it done asap and they were able to accommodate my request, which was a huge relief. The customer services was great from from the start. Ben, the person who took my call was friendly and patient in answering all my questions. The technician they sent over was really helpful and explained all my options for the installation. They even recommended a carrier condenser unit, which i'd heard was a good choice, so I went for it. The installation team was great too. The were friendly and professional, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. They even cleaned up after themselves, which i really appreciate it. Now that everything is up in running, I have to say that I'm really happy with the work they did. The new system is working perfectly and I can already tell it's to going to make a huge difference in the comfort in my home. Erick and Jesse mounted our 65" TV today, they were on time, well equipped not only with the mounts and cables we ordered but with a bunch of tools and a vacuum. They went over how high we wanted our TV mounted before making any holes. Once the height was decided, holes were cut to ran the cables inside the wall, the mount was bolted on, power bridge and outlet were added shortly after. The TV was set in place and Erick connected our cable box. I'd strongly refer these guys based on 3 major things: 1. They send out two techs at no extra cost (all the other "companies" I called expected me to help the installer lift and hang the TV). 2. They sell good mounts and certified 4K HDMI cables at very reasonable prices. 3. The installation was done up to California Electrical code! All the other "companies" I called just offered to run an extension inside the wall to hide the power cord, a big no no! read more

Moy and Jesse helped us unmount and remount or 65" Samsung over the weekend. They were polite, efficient and patched up all the holes at our old place. They remounted our TV over our new fireplace and hid all the cables inside the wall. Can't say enough on how courteous, organized these guys were throughout the whole process. Super affordable and professional! I had the Tilt OC guys Richard and Moi come out to install two flat-screens at our home and I can't say how comfortable we felt with them doing our installation. They put shoe covers on right before stepping into our home, we went over how high I wanted the TV's mounted and they got right to it. They came and fixed our old AC. It's working now. I was previously told be a technician from home Liberty home guard warranty that we need to replace the unit. Home warranty would change $8600 after warranty coverage. Good thing I got second opinion! ASAP AC fixed our 20 year old AC without replacing and it's working now. Barely habitual to say the least. NO ONE- absolutely NO ONE was available to come until 2 days time, most 3-4. Reminder, inside was 90 degrees, outside 100. Then I found this place, and they were at my house within 45 minutes after the call ended... UNREAL! Eddie is not only so knowledgeable, but truly just the best and cares about your comfort. Also, they have the parts you need to fix the issue on site right then and there. There was no waiting period- it truly was a VIP experience, which I never thought a HVAC company could provide! And today! I had a circuit issue and they came again within 30 minutes and saved the day yet again. Do yourself a favor- trust- Eddie and his team are the way to go!

Express quoted 600-800 but I really appreciated how genuine the owner was about the work scope, so we had them take a look. it ended up being 780 plus tax so 835, which is outside of the quote but not unreasonable. and obviously 50% cheaper than the first company. And the company, Express Refrigeration Heating and Air, had great reviews! They offered to install a new part for my non-working gravity heater the next day at $3,700.00 and orally guaranteed it for 10 years with the promise of a fix for two years after the installation if anything went wrong. Shivering, I happily accepted the word of the technician. I am repenting in leisure. When the work was done, and the technician, Zack, told me that, if I wrote a good review on Yelp, they would pay me $25.00----in the form of a gift certificate to eBay, Amazon or an online company of my choice---I got a different idea about all those great reviews. The heater stopped working 6 months later. Fishing out the invoice, I saw there was no written proof of a guarantee. I took the tech at his word and hadn't checked. Again, I was cold! When, after many calls and an email, David dispatched a second tech from Express to assess the problem, he told me that water was dripping on the new part and that the water had ruined it. He charged me $80.00 for coming out, saying the failure was my fault. None of this was written down. The technician said he could get me another part for $3,700 or install a different heating system for $15,000. Either way, he said, the $80 would be applied. Now the nickel drops. The dawn breaks, and I hire an inspector to tell me whether there is a leaking pipe that I need to repair. The inspector told me there was nothing leaking on the new part, in fact there were no water pipes anywhere near the furnace, only gas pipes. He also said that the technician had installed a red bypass wire, a temporary fix at best. So this review. To alert others. 1. Ask for a written guarantee. 2. Use a credit card so you have recourse. 3. Read the invoice before you sign. 4. Ask to see a photo of the area. 5. Do the opposite of what I did. I'm still cold. P.S. to Cassandra, business mananger, who left a note after this review. This is not a mistake. My invoice number is 4623 and I saw Zack on November 4, 2024. I saw the second technician May 30, 2025. Called Sunday 8/8/26 when AC completely went out in nearly 100° weather it was given an appointment for 8/28/26. They said they would be in touch the next business day for sooner options, received no follow up. Called Tuesday 8/12/26, during business hours and you only get the digital operator who keeps saying "I understand how frustrating this is". Asked to cancel maintenance plan but operator cannot do anything and takes a third message and again received no callback. Called again 8/15/26 and only operator who takes a 4th message. This should not be legal, cannot even cancel my maintenance plan.
