I read a negative review on here talking about Luke and it's ridiculous. He is one of the most knowledgeable techs you'll ever meet. If he is in your backyard for 30 minutes, he is checking the coolant levels in your system and that takes a long time. They installed a complete system in my house a few years ago. They are a great group of guys. I've recommended them to a few friends that had A/C emergencies when it was 100° and they took care of them the same day. Do your research before calling the first number you see for AC services. Because this company is NOT IT. We had this guy Luke come out. Literally has no freaking idea what he is doing. He's muttering to himself. He has no respect for other peoples property. He is slamming stuff and hitting stuff. Super rough. He would disappear outside for 30 mins or so no idea what he is doing. Chris the owner seemed like a good guy but we needed our ac fixed and he said we needed a new furnace , so we paid him and he came and installed it he told the 4 of us here it was going to be nice and cold in here . Well it's been over a week and with the thermostat at 70 my house is 77 degree , my husband has been calling him he came back found a problem with Freon fixed that the house is still Hot .I'm bedridden and so hot He told us today he won't come fix it and having someone else check it would void our warranty. This review is a bit overdue, In early October, our A/C stopped working, My wife and I were recovering from COVID and our two story home in Manteca was pretty hot. We called two companies to service our A/C. One quote was. $3,800 to replace a burned wire, the mother board, and the motor; no warranty would be provided. The second quote was for $3,200 to repair four switches with one year warranty; no mention of burned wire nor mother board nor the motor. Both mentioned that it would be best to replace the entire unit and it would cost approx $15K. We decided to contact a third company, so we reached out to A.S.A.P. We are super glad we made that third phone call. The guy that came out found the problem (a burned wire) and fixed it quickly for under $200. Amazing service and respectful integrity. I called this company out on an issue my tenant was having with the heater not working properly on a new, under warranty HVAC system that was installed by this company and after 3 visits and him telling me my tenant didnt know how to work the system, nothings wrong with it, we are wasting his time, I sent another vendor out who found and repaired the problem! And this something that should have been covered by warranty with this company, instead costing my owner to get it repaired by another company. June of 2022 I decided on A.S.A.P. due to customer service. I tend to come up with questions after an estimate is made. I called Chris several times before accepting his estimate with questions and concerns. He never hesitated to answer them even though I was not his client yet. He was always understanding and extremely kind and informative. We have never really been able to get our house cool. If it is over 100 outside our ac will run NON STOP and if we are lucky keep the house between 78 & 80. The unit is not the issue, years ago we replaced it with a larger one (not by ASAP), nothing changed. We ended up needing all new ducks because they were to small even for our old unit. We had so much work done to make the system better. A new vent was added in our hottest room (the family room /kitchen) our return was not large enough to remove the build up of heat so a new intake was added in the front part of the house. We had to have a special duct built along side the furnace in the garage due to extremely limited space and the old one not being large enough to circulate air properly. We had dampeners installed just incase we faced the same issue as before - cold bedrooms/bathrooms HOT living area, and had new insulation blown into the attic. They did have to come out and adjust the dampeners because we were still getting to much air in the back and not up front where we spend our time. During the heat wave of September our ac did great. It maintained the house at between 74 & 76 everyday I think. We were able to cool it down to 72 at night. When not in a heat wave the ac keeps our house at 74, so we are satisfied. I recommended him to my neighbor and within a couple weeks my neighbor was also having work done by them. read more

Chris came out to check our central heat and unit told us he thought it was our thermastate, he had to go pick one up from the shop he came back and started to change it and realized it just wasn't connected corectly, he didn't try to sell us the new one and in fact said if somthing went wrong with it in the next little while he would come out and replace it for just the price of the part. HORRIBLE SERVICE. AC broke on the first day of 100 degree weather. Not in anyway his fault, but after being told he would come by at 11 AM, he didn't show up until 2:30 PM without any notice of delay. He replaced one part for 30 minutes, charged us $190, then right after he left it broke again. After stating that he would be "rushing back" we didn't hear from him for another 2 hours until WE CALLED HIM, and then were told he would be here in an hour and a half. Never showed up. No phone call. After I called him back at almost 9 o'clock at night he says he will "rip up our check" that we gave him and he will come by our house at noon the next day. Again, he cancels and now he's stating he will not be canceling our payment. Basically he's a thief. When told we really needed him to come by, he says he has other jobs that were "just as important" and we should have gone to a bigger corporation. Worst service in my life, basically being robbed, with babies at home in 100 degree weather, this man has the audacity to say we shouldn't have trusted him. read more

ASAP has gone down hill over the past few years. I used them for a few years to resolve issues at my house as well as my multiple rentals. They used to do a good job for me but these last few issues can't be overlooked.
