Before leaving, they made sure everything was clean and tidy, leaving no trace of the extensive work they had completed throughout the day. When I called back to say no one had come I was put on hold, and the reps seemed unsurprised and indifferent. In the end, I waited 7 hours and felt I'd been misled simply to get the gig; with more information, I'd have shopped around and found someone who could keep their word. But at least the guy who did the work was responsible and professional. There is that.

A work crew was at the house and accidentally broke a spigot that was attached to the main water line into house. He shut off the valve on the pipe when water was spraying everywhere but unknowingly, shut the water off to the entire house. When my son realized what had happened, it was already 5 pm. We tried calling multiple plumbers (over 13 companies) to come out and fix the situation and no one was available until the following week. When I explained the situation over the phone to the owner, he came out around 8 pm and fixed the spigot at a very reasonable price. He was definitely a ray of sunshine in the middle of an extremely stressful week. I know he went above and beyond to help us out. We can't thank him enough.

I saw that there was water coming out of the side of a copper pipe that extends up from the ground for a hose connection. I had to shut off the water to my house and the guesthouse. I immediately called Tony and he said he'd fit me in today. By 2p today the hole was fixed, all cleaned up, water back on, a reasonably fee paid for same day service and Tony was off to his next job. I own a short-term rental (Airbnb) in Tempe that recently had an issue with the hot water…read moreheater--it wasn't producing any hot water. I called MAGA Plumbing, partly because I'm a big fan of the name, and Tony seemed like a knowledgeable and honest person to work with. He was also available to come out the next day, which was crucial since the property was occupied by guests. Tony arrived as expected and called me with the diagnosis and options (I live out of state). He provided two options: 1. Replace the two faulty heating elements for $500, which would restore hot water immediately. 2. Replace the tankless electric water heater entirely due to its age and significant corrosion (he sent photos to show the corrosion) for $1,300. However, this would take about a week to get the replacement water heater in stock and installed. I would have preferred the second option, but given the immediate need for hot water for my Airbnb guests, I opted for the $500 heating element repair. Tony assured me that this would solve the issue and provide hot water that day. Here's where the one-star review comes in... Tony called me later that day to let me know the repair had failed and didn't solve the problem. He said I would still need to replace the hot water heater. He offered to discount the work he had done that day by 50%, effectively increasing the total cost of the hot water heater replacement to ~$1,550. Taken aback, I asked if I really had to pay for the work done that day, even though it didn't fix the problem. Tony explained that despite the unsuccessful outcome, he had spent many hours working on it and needed to be paid for his time. Ultimately, I contacted my property manager's plumbing recommendation. That plumber was able to replace the tankless hot water heater the very next day for $900. Additionally, they installed a shutoff valve, isolating the water heater from the main water line for easier maintenance in the future. To be clear, this one-star review is not because Tony couldn't fix the problem--it's because he charged me even though the repair didn't work. While I didn't want to cause conflict and only questioned him once, I believe it's unfair to pay for a solution that didn't resolve the issue. I shared this story at the Thanksgiving table, and everyone was shocked that a company would charge for a failed repair. The general sentiment among my family was that if a company or vendor offers a solution and it doesn't work, they should absorb the cost. I had agreed to pay $500 to fix the problem--not $500 for someone to try to fix it. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision when choosing plumbing services.

One important tip for future customers: This company focuses strictly on remediation, meaning they do not handle the reconstruction or repairs (like replacing drywall) once the mold is gone. This wasn't an issue for me--I simply called around and found a local contractor to patch things up afterward--but it's important to go in with the right expectations and always ask questions! The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. He was incredibly sympathetic to our situation and reassured us that he would remove as little material as possible while keeping the home safe and thorough. We immediately knew we were in good hands. A few days later, Ruben and Ivan completed the work. They were punctual, efficient, and surprisingly quiet. Not only did they finish on time, but they also managed to save an entire wall and our builder shelves. Because they saved the wall, Ruben actually adjusted our final invoice down to reflect the lower material removal--a massive financial relief for first-time homebuyers. Ruben took extensive photos, walked me through the containment zone to explain their findings, and even returned the next day to walk my husband through the exact same breakdown so we were both fully informed. The final report they provided was incredibly thorough, detailing every single step with photographic evidence. My husband can be very picky about contracted work, and even he was completely impressed and had zero critiques. We were so incredibly stressed, and the calm presence and expertise this team brought into our home was invaluable. After a separate, highly disappointing experience with a different local plumbing company just days prior, "Good Time" completely restored our faith in local businesses. Consumer Alert: Outrageous prices, price gouging and other dubious practices... On 9/20/2018 Chance came to my house to diagnose a pilot light problem with my water heater. Turns out that the combination gas control and thermostat was faulty, and that the water heater itself had a leak after only 3.5 years of service. Kudos to Chance for a top notch diagnosis. Ultimately, the water heater needed full replacement. That is when things went wayward. Because my unit was under warranty, the new heater was free except for a government required upgrade costing $50. I overheard Chance speaking to the plumbing shop where he was quoted the $50 charge. However, when the price was quoted to me, suddenly the charge was $250. Then I was quoted $1380 for installation. I asked Chance for a detailed, itemized price list for the installation and he replied that installation was essentially all labor and that "labor charges are flat rate." We further discussed why the labor was so high and he told me 2 guys were required because the heater weighs "over 1000 pounds" and it had to be "muscled into place." He also told me that "sometimes it takes between 1-3 hours to drain the old heater." I offered to drain it myself ahead of their arrival. A simple Google search revealed that the replacement water heater has a shipping weight of 240 pounds. Chance also told me that if I had to purchase the heater from them it would cost $2600. Again, a simple Google search revealed retail prices for the heater between $1200-1400 and installed prices around $1800. After I balked at the first estimate of $1630 ($250 + 1380) I was offered a "discount" of $1450 ($250 + 1200) by email. I declined by email.Then on the morning of 9/21/2018 I received a call from Nick asking if a further discount would secure my business. I told him no and why. Bottom line: I went to Ferguson Plumbing in Tempe, paid $104.05 for the replacement heater (($50 upgrade fee and $50 handling fee plus tax), and now I will install the heater myself (I have to shut off the water and gas valves temporarily, drain the tank, unscrew 4 connections), for a total cost of $104.05. I can take the old heater to the dump one mile from my house or leave it at the curb on the quarterly collection day for free. Every word I wrote above is provable by emails sent to me by ASAP Plumbing and my receipts from Ferguson Plumbing, so Nick, don't bother to call. read more

I just wanted to rave about the fabulous customer service that I received today from Stefan at ASAP Plumbing! I called to make an appointment late this morning (Saturday around 11am)... due to water leaking from a wall in my garage. I totally expected to be told that there was nothing available until Monday...or possibly to be told that there was an astronomical weekend surcharge... nothing of the sort! Not only was i provided same day service (yay!), there was no Saturday surcharge! I couldnt be happier with the professional & courteous demeanor of my plumbing technician, Stefan! Very skilled & knowledgeable (& this is a young guy!)... He cut into the drywall (very neatly might i add :)), located the problem, physically showed me exactly where the issue was & what needed replacement. It ended up being a small hole in the hot water pipe, leading from my tankless water heater. Stefan made the repairs in a jiffy! When the job was complete, he physically showed me his repairs & answered all of my questions. I was even able to make my payment electronically with him right then & there! I must say that I felt comfortable with the cost as well. I was nervous about how much the damages would be... & was pleasantly surprised with the total bill! I discovered a leak in the backyard yesterday, and it appeared to be a pain. The leak was just outside of the slump block wall about a 1/16", and I determined that it was beyond my skill level. I contacted ASAP Plumbing at 0900 today and the professional on the other end of the line said that they could have some one out later in the day. Nick called and said he was on his way, so I left work and met him at the house. Nick was professional, clean cut, and cordial. He took a look at the leak, determined that he would need to get into the block a little so he could work around the problem and gave me an estimate which was completely reasonable. In less then an hour the leak was repaired and my worries of the leak destroying my house or foundation were alleviated. I was shocked at the prompt professional service. I felt that service like this was a thing of the past but ASAP Plumbing still cares about its customers and I couldn't be happier. I do not know if Nick is a manager or owner over at ASAP Plumbing but he sure acted like an owner that cares about his customers. We had a small hot water slab leak that we found early before it became a major issue. Called four plumbing companies for bids after having the leak located. Only two plumbing companies would even give me a bid on repairing the leak. All recomended repiping the whole house. After deciding on a whole house repipe ASAP was the low bid and offered the greatest service ( some would not repair the holes needed to gain access) ASAP was less than half of one bid. As it turns out the way our home was plumbed this was the best choice. This made the job much harder than expected to get to the places needed to repipe. The crew was very talented at finding ways around this inorder to make things strong and serviceable in the future. This is important to me because for the most part I do all my own plumbing repairs. This was the first time I ever called a plumber other than my son-in-law. We where only without water on one day and the crew stayed late to make sure we had water that night. Then crews showed up to repair stucco, drywall & texture so you can't tell anything was done. Every crew covered up everything and cleaned up after they where finished. I rarely would be willing to take the time and review but for ASAP I make an exception. I have recently had a string of bad plumbing issues in my home built in '82. I have had my fair share of poor experience and it is refreshing to deal with professionals for once. From day one ASAP has spectacular communication explaining what my options were on repairs and what choices I could make which would effect the end cost. The owner Nick helped me to understand what exactly would happen and what I could expect. I decided to re-pipe my house with ASAP and scheduled for a representative to get to work at my house the next morning. Mike showed up at my house promptly at 8AM, our scheduled time. Right from the beginning Mike asked me what I expect from ASAP and described what I would receive. I was able to clarify exactly which areas would need to be accessed and adjust my schedule accordingly. Mike went even further in explaining the product itself and the way he would install and where. Positive: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value My water heater went out and I needed an immediate installation. (right before Thanksgiving which I was hosting) After calling a few plumbing companies without success of a same day installation I found ASAP Plumbing Services. The gal who answered the phone was able to get me into the schedule and Ignacio arrived within a few hours. He quickly provided a quote and explained thoroughly what the process would look like. He offered some code upgrade recommendations and while the water heater drained I had him inspection a water leak in my front yard. He realized I didn't have a water shut-off and recommended one to be installed. A pressure regulator was also installed, and he capped off my irrigation (which I don't use and was leaking). After that he removed my old water heater and installed the new one. He was very patient and neat during the whole process which was wonderful! I come from 3 generations of plumbers(though not one myself) so I can tell when plumbing companies and their guys are shady. THESE GUYS ARE TOP NOTCH! My time window was 12-2, and I got a call at 1135 asking if it was ok for them to come early. I hadn't planned on even a 1200 arrival so I was away from home and they had no problem waiting. Nick and his helper were very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They were respectful of our home, and got right to work checking out the problem. They were genuinely concerned for our family's saftey as well. While the problem was a result of some amateur remodeling, they didn't make any negative comments about the people that performed the original job-very professional! We had a good bit of water spewing from a pipe at our basement level. It was causing the pipe to regularly make a big thud, which was quite concerning. I called a couple companies who didn't want to come down to Ahwatukee. But ASAP Plumbing answered right away. They said they could get someone to the house between 11a & 1p, but they ended up getting there about an hour early (much to my relief). The guy who came out was so polite and knowledgeable (sadly, the card he left didn't have his name, so I can't say). He figured out the problem in the basement and got it fixed. Then I remembered a problem with our freezer. He was willing to get back there and fix that. Finally, I was going to fix the outside fountain while my husband was gone, and he helped me do that, offering to replace the pvc pipe (which was bending) with copper. I accepted. I was pleasantly surprised that we got all our plumbing problems fixed (beyond the one I called them for) and that the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend ASAP Plumbing! read more

I had a water supply line leak in the wall behing my kitchen sink that I needed to get repaired pronto. I found ASAP Plumbing on yelp and called on a thursday afternoon. They were able to get me scheduled for Friday morning and gave a me rough price range over the phone. They gave me a 2 hour window for Friday morning, called 30mins before arriving, were on time and professional. It took them less than an hour to access the pipes and fix the leak. The price was very reasonable and was within the range they gave me over the phone. They also had some extra tips for me for future consideraiton. They never tried to up sell or add on additional work. Since they had to cut into the drywall, they were careful to put down plastic to contain the mess and also gave me a referal for someone to come out a patch the hole. We recently had Jordon and Nina from ASAP repipe our entire home. What a pleasure it was having them here. They were ontime, placed tarps down, and put plastic over everything. They explained the process as they progressed. They were extremely hard working and professional. You could not ask or expect a better experience than what they provided. Mike our salesman came out each day and checked in on the project to make sure everything was going ok. Jordon followed up several days later to make sure we were happy and that everything was ok. Thanks to ASAP for helping take the worry and concern out of such a large undertaking. Our deciding factor in going with ASAP was that they didn't use sub contractors. I had a dilema. My water heater broke late night on 2/3/16. Called everywhere, get quotes from many different companies. Not knowing anything about any company, I took a gamble on ASAP. I PICK A WINNER. Not only their tech came right on time, they also did and excellent job. 2 came and very professionally talked to my husband and myself, installed the water heater and left us with a bill no other company would beat. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY. I even called their manager, Alex, because I had question yesterday because I smelled natural gas in my garage. Wanted to make sure that the flame is not off and the pipe line is emitting gas. He walked me through the whole process checking my water heater. I've used ASAP Plumbing & AC a few different times over the last year or so and i've never been disappointed. Back in January i hired them to do a full house repipe on one of my rental properties in Peoria AZ they had 2 technicians do the job and they were very fast and efficient. It only took them 3 days even tho they had said 6 days on the contract. I've also used them on all 3 of my rental properties and my personal property in Scottsdale for all my HVAC needs and they always gave me great deals for being a repeat customer. Last week I had a tenant call and say their kitchen sink was leaking and Nick sent a tech to the property within 45 minutes and my tenant was so happy! These guys are professional and thorough. After having one company abandoned us after starting a total replumb on our home, I called this company. We were so stressed out over what had happen with the previous company. They were at our house within the hour and assessed the job that needed to be done, as well as giving us a reasonable quote for the job. They explained everything that needed to be corrected and obtained the city permits as well as getting the inspector to our house to finalize the job. Each day, they made sure everything was covered with plastic and laid drop clothes through out the working areas of our house. They showed up on time and worked hard throughout the days (4). These guys were amazing! I had a very unique situation where my new cat got stuck in a 6 inch space behind my water heater in the very early morning hours. He was stuck and frightened . I called and they answered right away. Nick came out within 25 minutes. Nick was able to remove my water heater and My cat was free from behind the water heater within 10 minutes- probably less. It was a very sticky situation as he was likely head down for sometime. Nick was a real pro , total stud. Here and gone before 6 AM at an extremely reasonable price. On my way to work the other day I noticed water bubbling up from a crack in the driveway. I knew that was going to be expensive. I called ASAP Plumbing and they came out that same day to take a look. They figured out how to loop it around, avoiding tearing up the driveway altogether. We also needed a pressure vacuum breaker for our irrigation system and he was nice enough to put that in as well. All in all I had a great experience with these guys. They know what they are doing, and are quick. After I received the invoice, which was priced fairly, I also received a photo of the work done while I was at work. It was a nice job well done. I will be calling them again for our future issues and any future projects we'll have. read more

ASAP plumbing responded quickly and got tech outs right away. Jordan and Nina were very professional and kind. They were upfront about costs and respectful of the property. Of course it was a little pricey, but what plumbing service isn't. Our home's previous owners, had all of the tub drains broken and there wasn't a way to utilize a drain stopper. Jordan was able to replace the drains without issues and no other damage occurred in the process. I utilized their service again for a leaking issues in the kitchen, and Vasa came out in the middle of the night to take care of the issue. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. We noticed our a/c wasn't cooling the house down last night. It was already late and I searched my neighborhood Facebook group Ahwatukee Friends and saw a gentleman who was getting glowing reviews. His name is Matt Armer. I messaged him through my messenger app and to my surprise he messaged back! He gave me the office number and I got in for a appointment the next morning. Matt was very knowledgeable and explained to me what was wrong and showed me pictures of where the trouble was. I am so happy he came out. Not only did he do an amazing job but it was in a nick of time as well. When he returned later with my parts the ac had stopped working completely. You are my go to company now! Thank you! read more

Being new to Arizona I had no idea what plumbing service to go through to replace my water heater, I called several plumbing companies in my area and a few of the companies were very rude to me. I then scheduled for a company to come out and they never showed up.. after several attempts with different companies my neighbor suggested I go through their plumber. I called ASAP Plumbing and they were at my house within 2 hours of me calling them. The technician Mario did a excellent job and was very kind. My handyman was trying to replace a bathtub valve for me, but left the job unfinished due to his poor skills. As a result, I had to call around for a plumber who can take over the job and continue to get it finished. Marat was the guy who answered my call and came over doing the job. It took him longer than he expected because he had to reverse the poor job left by the previous handyman and redo everything. Even though at the end he charged me $100 more than what he quoted me over the phone, I was not complaining because I was satisfied with his job quality. I give 5 stars to Marat's workmanship. read more

Needed plumbing help right away. Chet from ASAP Plumbing arrived within about 15 minutes of my call. He quickly assessed the situation and what needed to be done - and then went to work in the middle of the afternoon -over 116 degrees outside! He routed out the line. Our issues were resolved in a little over an hour from when I first placed my call. When he came back, it was a different experience. The wrong type of tape and pipe connector was used for a gas pipe that he installed in our kitchen. He used a type tape and a connector for water not gas. The wrong pipe connector type was not noticed until maintenance was being done. Bo discussed personal and political issues which isn't professional. He was there to do a job. He left the work area a mess and didn't attempt to clean up. Bo didn't appear to want to work. When he first arrived, he said he was unable to shut the main gas line off. We had to do it. He didn't have any WD-40 or other type of lubricant to complete the job, fortunately we had some available.
