This is about Ashley Furniture store.I wanted some reasonably good furniture to last for a few years. I purchased a dining room set a year and a half ago and a bunk bed about 6 months ago. One of the chairs broke and the bunk bed pretty much dis​in​te​grat​ed around 2 of the screws. I contacted Ashley Furniture, you are reading this post because they gave me the run around. I feel like, if I would have,  purchased some Furniture from a mom and pop store if was worth more than this Furniture. It might have broke, become damaged, but I will expected but not want it to break.. So if you want good furniture, do not shop at Ashley Furniture. They said you cannot move the bed or you will break it and someone leaned back in it to it is not a manufacturing problem. This is nonsense. To me I believe the screws were over screwed. I remember a particular noise of extra rotate when the furniture was installed.  I know for sure that would make wood split. Even if the wood was good wood ( it that is what it is) look like it is pressed pieces of wood compacted together, it would split like that. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! Listen to our reviews. The cheap prices aren't worth it!!! We ordered furniture that was constantly delayed. Then the hurricanes were coming this way (August 2020) so WE ourselves rescheduled delivery just to be safe because we were evacuating too as a precaution. So we merely pushed the delivery back one week. In that time THEY GAVE AWAY SOME OF OUR FURNITURE!!!!! Furniture we had PAID FOR and should have been set aside. WTF?!?! never again. If you want a headache, this is the place to go for a furniture. First of all, if you're going to shop here always ask for at least 25% discount or they are going to ripe you off even more. When they deliver the furniture and it is damaged, take a picture and do not let them put it in your home and leave. We had a damaged bed delivered and they left it in my home and I complained to Ashley furniture and nobody did anything until I went to BBB and reported them with prove - this process sadly took 1 month before they took the bed and refunded me my money. This will be the last time I shop at any Ashley furniture, I rather pay more for great service then pay less for more stress that Ashley causes. read more

If I could give them a half star I would! I would say the customer service was good at the beginning, but of course they're trying to sell you something. Long story short our furniture was supposed to be delivered Nov 28, we didn't hear from anyone. We called multiple time and could get in contact with anyone until the following Monday, which wasn't even the store but the customer service office. They said they didn't even see a delivery date and put in an emergency ticket for the store to contact me (they never did). My husband and I went to the store in Katy from the southside of Houston and waited hours to speak with a manager, supposedly everyone was on break. He really didn't give us a clear answer, we could get our furniture as late as January 12th. It's my fault because I should've read the reviews first. If I could give less than one star I would! My mom has paid in full for all of her furniture let's start with that. So April 2021 our house was finally almost done being built. We had a few push backs so our furniture was pushed out so I guess it's normal for them to sell pieces that were already paid for and set aside for people but whatever well it's now December customer service has told us several times oh it'll be here call back in 2 weeks we have some of your order but not all of it so we can't ship it separately which is a lie bc we have half the bed room furniture. As of 2 weeks ago they had partial bed frame and our swivel chair (bought separately so it can be shipped to us) and they told us we can't ship what we have bc we only do whole orders but once it is in the ware house she assured us it was ours and wouldn't go anywhere. My mom calls again the other day and this agent was being beyond rude like the others and said he sees that nothing is actually in the ware house for us which leads us to believe that someone is lying to us like they have been the last SEVERAL MONTHS. We have requested many times to speak with a supervisor and they agent say " we will schedule you an appointment to speak with someone" my mom said perfect I'll wait and the agent hung up on her! Now we understand right now it's incredibly hard to get products but what we don't understand is that IF A CUSTOMERS HAS PAID IN FULL FOR THEIR PRODUCTS SHOULDNT THEY BE PRIORITIZED? Well apparently not and at this point i am praying this gets the attention of someone that can better explain things to us on why things are handled the way that they are. TLDR: By far the worst experience with a furniture store I've ever had. Delivery was a nightmare and no one knows what they're doing. Long version: I ordered a sofa with over two weeks of delivery lead time. I'm at home waiting during the three hour delivery window. That time passes. I call Ashley HomeStore. It'll be there within thirty minutes. Another hour passes. It'll be there within the next hour. That time passes. I call over ten times and receive a different answer each and every time. On the last call, I'm told that my order has been inexplicably cancelled. Not once did Ashley HomeStore reach out to me and update me on a delayed delivery, which would have been acceptable. Or at the very least let me know that the order was going to be delayed another day. That's fine too. But I waited on the delivery for over six hours, receiving conflicting information from their people, only to have the delivery cancelled altogether. From my last conversation with an Ashley Homestore representative, I'm informed that I would be receiving a phone call in the next day or two regarding rescheduling. The next day I receive a text message which prompts me to pick a delivery date. I choose a date. No response on their end. I call the store. The earliest they can deliver is in over a week. Where did my couch go? I ponder aloud. It was delivered to another person according to the poor soul helping me. The sofa that was supposed to be delivered to me was delayed, cancelled, and then shipped to another person. *Update* I had a positive experience with the in-store manager who promptly refunded the delivery charge and explained that the delivery company is subcontracted, explaining much. +1 star *Update 2* I received a text on Saturday morning saying the sofa will be delivered in approximately 45 minutes. I didn't reschedule to this day, nor was there a chance to confirm the delivery window. Over two hours go by, and no one from Ashley HomeStore can tell me why it's late or when it will be delivered. They can't even get a hold of their own drivers, and the store never called me back to update me: I had to keep calling them. Inevitably, the sofa was delivered. -1 star read more

Came in to buy a bedroom and living room set, and was given a great buying experience by a gentlemen named Beau. He gave us a great amount of knowledge and really good in painting the picture meaning giving us great recommendations on what we were looking for. Really great customer service and answered all of our questions. I really hate shopping for furniture, but what a great experience. Purchased quite of few pieces. Scheduled the dining table with chairs and bench to be delivered 12/17/19. Received a confirmation text a few days prior to scheduled delivery date saying my time of delivery would be between 5-8 pm. At 8pm I received a text from a 1800 number saying they were 10 minutes away from my home. It is now almost 10 pm and still no delivery nor a phone call from the delivery crew. How unprofessional. My sales person was outstanding. But due to the non-delivery and failure to contact me, you have just lost a customer. I still have lots of furniture to purchase however I will not be purchasing from This place. All they needed to do was communicate with me that they won't be able to delivery tonight. But I guess that was too difficult. Update: I was able to contact my outstanding salesman Timothy Perry. Both he and his coworker Kia were able to ensure that my furniture get delivered. We ordered furniture Saturday and was set for half of it to be delivered 2/5/20 with a window between 5:15-8:00. At 7:00 my husband was told they were still on the www. We waited until 10:30 at night and never received a call that they were not coming and today we are told it is an "approximate "delivery " and it is on back order for two weeks! Okay so let me say if I could give a zero stars I would. I went to the homestore and got GREAT customer service from John. However, the delivery was nothing stellar. The first drivers came and we told them that they delivered the wrong chaise and he told us to call back and they would swap it out. So tonight they called at 5:40 p.m. and said they were 15 minutes away; then they called at 6:30 and said they were 10 minutes away; they did not come until 7:15 p.m.. Then when they came the delivery man said where was the couch and he then ran his hand over the couch and found a "dog" hair and stated he could not take back the chaise because it had dog hair all over it. So I called the store and she was like yes we will have to reschedule you for the "dog hair". Then he got on the phone with Blanca a customer service agent. I stated that they needed to remove the chaise she said "well maybe you should not have had your dog sit on it". I asked her what did she say and she said "maybe you should not have had your dog sit on it". I told her she does not talk to me like that she then started yelling and talking loud and over me and that even made it worse. This is the WORST customer service I have experienced with Ashley Homestore. If you can go somewhere else please do because their customer service agents and delivery drivers make them look bad and this is it. NEVER AGAIN. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!! We ordered a sectional and confirmed that it would be delivered all at once. We even said we would wait months to make sure it would all be delivered at once. We got the delivery confirmation that all 3 pieces would be delivered so we sold our couch. When delivery day came around they only had 2 pieces and to make it worse one of the pieces didn't have the parts needed so they had to take it back!! So now we only have 1 piece. When I tired to talk with Ashley both over the phone (costumer service) and in person (story manager) no one could help me and they just pointed fingers at each other! Buyers BEWARE! Over 2 months has passed and I have yet to receive my dining table. I spoke with the resolution team who did nothing for me. They told me that it can take up to 3 months to get the table. They just gave me the runaround and finally said my table may not be here anytime soon. They offered me $100 off a table that I paid over $2,000. Since I wasn't going anywhere with the resolution team, I asked to speak with a manager. I was able to get in contact with Erika assured me she would do everything to make sure my table arrives soon and promised to call me back the NEXT DAY. Well, the next day came and no phone call, go figure. She finally reached out the following day stating, and I quote, "I checked your order this morning and everything is good to go for delivery on 7/16 the table is being received today. You should get the email advising of the timeframe for delivery today." The day of the 16th, I waited for the scheduled timeframe given and my table never arrived. When I call customer care, they were confused and were not sure why I was told my table would arrive since there was nothing in the warehouse with my item. Our recliner shown a manufacturing defect (uneven seat) just after 12 months. They would only cover parts beyond that period and in this case it was only adjust (labor) required. I've noticed a few interesting items online at the Ashley HomeStore, so I decided to check out the location, off of I10. Upon entering I was greeted by a lady, asking if we'd been helped but I was trying to find the restroom for my son. After our restroom break, we were looking around and various items. Then we were approached by someone else that asked if we needed any help. I told her I was looking for a sofa bed/sleeper. She immediately walked me a few steps to this touch screen monitor and told me that I could search there everything that's available in the store and walked away. I chuckled and told my son, If I wanted to glance at a monitor I would have continued viewing items online, from my phone. I drove to the store to speak with an individual that would be able to show me what they have in the store and answer any questions I have. Oh well. That was very strange to me. I do have my eye on a dresser that I might purchase soon. If my future experience is any better I will update this review and add another star or two. Stay tuned! read more

My favorite thing about the store is that it's in America, which means that I have the freedom to never go into this void establishment again. Aside from having a selection that even Goodwill can outperform, you don't really get the chance to even look at the paltry stock that they DO have. THEY STOLE OUR MONEY!!!!!!!! We ordered a 5 piece set and only 4 pieces were delivered and the delivery guys even took a picture of the 4 pieces once they finished their delivery. We called the store and provided them all the information regarding our order and the manager refused to help us. We emailed her a copy of our receipt and all she still refused to help. Was confirmed that multiple delivery will be send due to the delay in delivery. 4. After 4 weeks called the delivery line and was told it was never a split order and informed that one of the item is showing in unfounded. 5. Unethical - When sales rep worked on the purchase order, all he did was tryin to upsale and force you to buy warranty plan. He manipulate the item numbers to ensure he meets the sales metric and sale more services! Very shady and disappointed!! 6. He assured that he will follow up end of sept for the delivery of first two items. Thus far, rep declined to answer call and never respond with any text! Then what's the point of providing your direct number?! No eta on delivery nor anyfollow up!! Sales rep never pick up their direct line. The WORST customer service I've experienced, at any business, in 60 years! Bought nearly $5,000 worth of furniture on May 30, 2020. Still haven't received a single delivery. I've called customer service multiple times... In addition to ridiculously long wait times (when I wasn't just disconnected first), I have to "press 1 for English"... what! When I finally did get through, the representatives were rude, untrained, unempathetic, and unhelpful. I was promised delivery no fewer than six times. Each time, the representative "promised" delivery would be forth coming, only for the delivery date to pass once again without a call, text, or email to apologize or even explain what went wrong. I guess Ashley furniture believes that customers should just give them money, shut-up, and be happy to wait indefinitely. Well, Ashley... I'm tired of your empty promises and HORRIBLE customer service. It's time for you to get off your backsides and make this right... not only for me, but the thousands of other pissed off customers (based on hold times, I assume there are a lot of other unhappy folks out there). It's almost the Fourth of July holiday and Ashley furniture still hasn't sent us all of our furniture. We never got the mattress we wanted. We got the loveseat and end table about three weeks ago. They told my mom that there was still some delay with the couch. We got more run around. We tried calling and got no one or a hang up. We've waited patiently and have already gotten the bill to start paying for what we haven't received. My mom heard at one point that she didn't even order the couch, but we do have to pay for it. So Ashley Furniture has no problem giving us the bill on time at all, but they still haven't given us our furniture and they don't know where it is. Please don't go here for any Fourth of July specials! They have no customer service. Worst mistake we've ever made was going here and not reading their reviews before buying anything. At this point, the only way for them to salvage their dignity for me is to give us the biggest price cut ever to save face, but they won't. This place probably sees more upset customers than the lost baggage department at the airport. Next day, my mom gets a call from her salesperson, Tammy, that the couch is no longer available and she wants my mom to go to their warehouse to pick another couch. Nothing about a discount for all the trouble or an apology for the crap service. We already have the live seat and now we get to pick from selection of odds and ends couches because we made the sector go to this crap store. I decided to purchase a dining room table from here after looking at several in the area. The person who helped me place the order was very nice and said it would take about 10 -14 weeks to come in. I was okay with that and paid my invoice, but then realized I forgot to use my 10% coupon. So I messaged customer service back and the woman daid there was nothing she could do. I bought a dining table in mid October and they promised the delivery before thanksgiving (my house burned down and we just moved to this house, so we decided to host the thanksgiving). below is the history of Ashley Furniture delivery: 1st time : came with 4 chairs and the base of the table, no table top 2nd time: they canceled the delivery 15 minutes before their promised delivery time 3rd time: came with another 4 chairs, NO TOP ** RUINED MY PARTY** 4th time: canceled again the same day 5th time: came with wrong extension 6th time: came with wrong SCREWS!!! Wish I could give them more stars as my initial shopping experience was great. I went in for two new bedroom sets and an extra dresser and night stand. The sales rep was super helpful and not to pushy. We only ended up purchases a dresser with mirror and a nightstand. I had to wait nearly a month for my items to be delivered. When they arrived the mirror for the dresser was not included. The sales rep put the wrong item number on my order with did not include the mirror. I contacted the store three separate time speaking to 3 different sales res trying to get a price and availability for the mirror. Each rep stated they would pull the information and call me back but never did. I tried calling the sales rep as I found his number. No call back but he text me during our initial purchase so I tried texting him. He finally responded and went to gather my price and availability request. I gave him two days until I had to Text him again requesting the same information. They were willing to give me the same discount on the item from the original purchase but not willing to wave the delivery fee. I should not have to pay a second delivery fee since this was their mistake. The price I paid for the dresser alone is 1 penny less than the dresser and mirror on the Ashley website. They were not willing to complete the price match since he items had been delivered. They convinced me they make things right at delivery because I had planned on refusing the delivery since they did not have everything I ordered. Overall this was a horrible experience and I will not be returning to this store for future purchases. read more

This Ashley location has poor service after the sale. This is my 2nd horrible experience and this time I decided customers need to know. I have patiently waited 3 weeks for the store and warehouse to get my order correct for delivery. There were times when I was given a delivery date and time but no delivery. I had to personally go to the store twice to get answers after waisting an entire day waiting on the delivery. Finally, 3 weeks later I receive partial delivery. No one to answer any questions. However, when the furniture did not arrive, I called to discover there was a 16 week or more delay. I asked for full refund but they charge 10 percent fee for refunds!! Beware!
