I am beyond upset with the entire false information I was given when purchasing such an expensive Tempur-Pedic mattress. They tell you that you have 30 days to decide wether or not you like the mattress which is great right? 15 days later and this is the worst mattress I have ever purchased!! So I get to the store so I could discuss returning it cause I am waking up with my back hurting and although I purchased the luxe cooling mattress it still feels warm also. I mention these things and they pull out a form that was not signed by me with the print that says you have to wait "30" days and you could exchange it or purchase one of only equal or more value. This is the worst service I have ever had and they offered words of advice," you should walk on the bed" it needs time to break in so needless to say I am stuck with this bed. No discounts or specials like the Tempur-Pedic actual site and online orders, Ashley will make you keep the mattress. They can't discount it, they can't return it cause they are not the actual site. So at least when you deal with the actual vendor you have a 90 day period to "RETURN" your mattress if you are not satisfied. This is horrible customer service when things are not explained or clearly left out of a sales pitch. Oh but if you do call the 1-800 number for Tempur-Pedic they can't help you since you did not purchase the mattress from the actual company. We bought a sectional for our new house the first week of June 2020 from the Palm Desert location. We received only one half of the sectional a week later and were given a new delivery date for mid July for the other half. On that due date the furniture never came, we were not contacted and after numerous unanswered calls and online attempts to contact customer service, we then spoke to customer service in person at the same store. The store gave us a new date for the first week of August and didn't apologize for the inconvenience. Now it's August and we paid a visit to the store again today, because we cannot reach customer service online or by phone, we were then told there is a new date for end of August but we would not be receiving the furniture that day and they didn't know when it would be coming in. We asked if we could get a refund since we have had half a couch for two months and they said no. We currently have no idea if/when we will receive the furniture. We filed a claim at the store and were given a claim number and a phone number for corporate. We called and it is the same phone number we have been trying to call to no avail. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE. The non-existent customer service shows to care to resolve an issue. We are completely at their mercy and have no idea when the other half of the sectional will arrive. I didn't like the customer service they give. I purchased a mattress and called in after a few months because I believe the mattress wasn't firm which we supposedly ordered and the mattress was sinking. They sent a technician and the tech took some photos and even said "this really isn't firm". Waited for 72hrs to receive a call cause that's what the tech said but no call until a week, gave them a follow up call and ask regarding it. Told me the manager will give me a call back. Called for 3 times again cause haven't received any call back then an agent said i need to call the corporate, Sammy of corporate department was so helpful and she said she's gonna email their regional office and will give a call and email to Ashley Palm Desert. Horrible customer service and over experience. I purchased furniture in May and it is now the end of August with yet another "delay". The first scheduled delivery was 1 July, then moved to 7 July. We got half of our couch and our tables... scheduled to have the rest of it by the end of July and never got it. Then said it would be delivered August 7th.. come the beginning of August they expected me to drive over an hour to their store to sign papers again due to it being past 90 days of my purchase and they apparently couldn't fax it over to me. Made the drive all the way down there. This 90day issue caused me to "go to the back of the line for shipment" I insisted it to be moved back up earlier than Sept 13th because it is not my fault FOR THEM NOT GIVING ME MY THINGS PAST 90 days. They told me it would be delivered August 21st... today is the 20th so I called asking when it would be delivered and they said they'd call me back... of course no call back until I called and they were coincidentally about to call me. Said that it won't be able to come until September 4th but for me to call them Saturday and try to get it sooner. This is absolutely ridiculous, and I understand that COVID May have an effect on shipments but the fact that they do not communicate at all until I have to call for updates and have yet to receive my complete purchase nearly 5 MONTHS after I initially went in is ridiculous. I contacted their delivery company to request that the man get tested for Covid virus. The technician who came to look at the wardrobe I bought (that didn't function properly) told me this as well. He said the furniture is basically made of saw dust. Customer service is no help once you purchase the furniture. My product arrived broken and they told me that's how it is supposed to be. The drawers do not line up and hit each other when you open them. The technician said he was going to send me a new one but when I didn't hear anything for a month I called to inquire. Went in to Ashley Furniture and was helped by Ricardo Coronado. We found a sofa & loveseat set that we liked. He told us that it was on a "managers discount" and he could get us both pieces for $5000. We told him that was more than what we wanted to pay, we needed to think about it. Then he says if we purchase today, he can give us 60% off. I said 60% off of that price (meaning $5000). He said yes and said he would leave us alone for a bit to think about it. At 60% off, it would be $2000, so we decided to buy it. He then told us it would be $3,340 plus $309 for delivery plus $469 if we wanted the protection program. He clarified that the 60% off was from the listed price, not the managers price. We said that was not our understanding and we'd have to think about it. He offered to hold that rate for us if we decided to buy. I went online to Ashley Furniture and found the sofa & loveseat for $2,116.48, plus $269.99 for delivery and $319.99 for he protection plan. His total cost with tax was $4402.85. Total cost online was $2870.48. A difference of $1532.37! What underhanded scheming scammers! read more

Our experience in the store got off to a bad start as the hours listed on Yelp are incorrect. The sales person was helpful and we purchased our furniture. One of our items came damaged and instead of giving us our other item the delivery guy said it was cancelled out so we'd have to wait until they re deliver. They called and told us I'd receive an email to schedule delivery, however when I did not get an email I checked my invoice only to see that the sales person had both the name of my street and my email address incorrect. This experience gets even better (sarcasm) I call the store and could not talk to anyone as the automated system wouldn't allow, customer service is supposed to be open 7-7 however at 6pm when I called they were closed. Hopefully we will get everything fixed tomorrow as we spent a lot of money on our furniture. This experience has been terrible and because of it I will not purchase Ashley furniture again nor will I recommend them to others read more

I purchased online a Dolante king head board adelivery and ordering was all easy and everything came on time. I was very excited to get this new head board and mattress the delivery people did their job assemble the headboard rails and put the mattress in as well. Everything seemed great then 2 days later my husband goes to lay down and himself and the whole mattress go right through and he's laying on the floor. The whole mattress and box went right through the rails broke the rails and now we are laying on the floor still waiting for supervisor to return my call regarding my refund they said it would be 2/3 days and tomorrow will be a week and we have been sleeping on the floor. High pressure sales. Misleading statements and signage on some furniture items. We bought a bar with what was respresented by the sales person as a marble or granite top. It is not stone of any kind. It is a plastic composite of some kind. The fake stone top obsorbes any kind of liquid and the slightest drop of anything will leave a permanent water stain. The sales person on three different occassions gave us the "see touch it, it is cold, that means it is stone". They even put a sign on the bar top stating how to care for marble or granite. I'm happy to report that our experience was actually very pleasant. My salesperson, a Carlos i believe was very helpful and patient. My wife and i took several days of looking and deciding, and he didn't give us that "hurry up and buy feeling" which was nice.. I'm pleased to say that our furniture arrived on time as promised and in perfect condition. The delivery guys were strictly business - which is a definite plus for me. Overall i'm giving 4 stars. If it were just for the experience alone without quality vs. pricing, id give a 5. So kudos to the guys there. I do believe i got a good deal on everything. We furnished our whole house with a lil over 4k! I just think Ashley could improve by adding more diversity to some of their products. I found a sofa at Ashley that I liked, but it was too big. The sales person, Felix, said that they could make the sofa smaller by not using one of the sectional parts and putting an arm on the end of another piece. He said it would take three weeks. I really didn't want to wait, but I had found nothing else anywhere that I liked. I waited the three weeks, and was called the day it was supposed to be delivered. They told me they could actually not put the arm on the other piece like they said they could. When I asked why they had not informed me right away, they said they had the wrong phone number for me. Now I have company coming and no couch, even after waiting three weeks. Very disappointing. Update: Felix told me my credit card would be refunded within the nest few days when I spoke to him on 8/28. Nothing yet-so I called the store and they are requiring me to come in for a refund, and they said they could not find any paperwork for my purchase.
