We had already scoured the town visiting at least 7 other stores before visiting Ashley. The other stores had a mixed bag of good and bad customer service, good and bad quality products and we just couldn't find what we wanted. We finally made it to Ashley and were greeted by Kabor who was super friendly and asked us what we were looking for. He walked us across the store and took us the the sofa set that was exactly what we were searching for. We signed the contract with great discounts and it was delivered days later. The delivery crew set up everything with ease and we were lounging in our couches shortly there after. We couldn't be happier! PLEASE DO NOT SHOP HERE! I would never recommend this place to anybody I know after the experience me and my family had here. If I had known they had so many poor reviews before we even went here I would've suggested to my wife not to come here at all. She was lied to the very first visit and it never stopped getting worse from there. Just know if you ever buy something here, you can never return it to get your money back, sales are final and that is how they get you. We spent a lot of money trying to furnish three different rooms, when things came damaged and we tried to replace things or if they weren't the right color or the right thing that we wanted it was too late to find a replacement. They were out of stock of so many different pieces, and we couldn't find any matching bedroom sets, they're always out of stock. They kept leading us on for almost 2 months about giving our money back saying they would get back to us within a couple days. That they had to clear things with their corporate office. All lies. Two weeks went by then three weeks then four weeks nothing. Only way out is getting random pieces of furniture to replace the ones that don't match. We will just complete the three rooms by buying furniture from other places. I don't usually waste my time to write one star reviews because if I believe a business gets that, it's not worth writing. They said I actually had to own it for 30 days and then after I could exchange it, they even told me go and pick out the mattress that I would be exchanging it for and then I got an email almost 2 weeks later them telling me that it actually isn't part of their guarantee program and that this mattress that I purchase was actually a final sale and it's very convenient how they leave no corporate number and Customer Service is of no help this place is terrible. Very disappointing experience. We were told by the salesperson that our purchase would qualify for 0% interest financing, and we relied on that information when we agreed to the purchase and signed the documents. Only afterward did we realize that the financing was not actually interest-free as it had been explained to us. We felt misled and believe the financing terms should have been explained clearly before we signed anything. Unfortunately, the quality of the furniture was also very poor. After about one year, the sofa started to deteriorate and develop problems. We had also paid extra for a warranty, expecting that it would protect us if something went wrong. When we contacted the store, we were told that they were not responsible and that we had to deal directly with the third-party warranty company. The warranty company then refused to cover the damage and did not accept that the furniture had failed under normal use. Based on my experience, the additional warranty was not helpful, and the furniture did not last as expected. Between the financing issue, the poor product quality, and the lack of support afterward, this was an extremely frustrating experience. Today I visited an Ashley store to ask about a bed on display and clarify the return/warranty/service policies before purchasing. Unfortunately, the associate I spoke with was immediately aggressive and dismissive. When I asked about the return policy, he responded very sharply that there is "no return policy" and that once you get it you can "never return it." I then asked what happens if the bed squeaks. He said, "it depends," and when I asked what it depends on, he implied it would depend on whether I caused it by "damaging the bed." I tried to explain that my questions were simply about normal issues that can happen with delivery or manufacturing--not about trying to "trick the system." I asked what the resolution would be if a bed squeaked from the start. He said they would send a technician. When I asked what happens if a technician can't fix it, he replied sarcastically that they are "the biggest furniture manufacturer in the country" and "can fix anything," which honestly made me less confident, not more. I also asked what I should do if I discovered scratches after delivery, and again his responses were framed as if I would be at fault ("if you caused the scratches, we won't cover it"), before any issue even occurred. When I asked for straightforward answers without assumptions, he smirked and said, "That was my answer." The tone throughout was sarcastic and disrespectful. I left feeling uncomfortable and concerned about the customer service I would receive if I purchased expensive furniture here--especially if any issues arise. Can I give negative stars? Manager there on Sunday very confrontational about what looks to be false advertising on pricing. Even the salesperson on the floor was confused as to why he would not honor the listed price. When I went to buy this piece he told me the fireplace was not included. Huh? No separate price was listed.... Nothing on the pricing said fireplace was excluded. This looked to be an all inclusive price. When I argued that pricing was deceptive and he should honor as listed he just told me I should know where the front door is. I've bought many pieces at this location before from reputable staff in the past. Never again at this store. We found a nice piece at a competitive price right down the street! Crappy couch purchased the extended warranty have had the couch less than a year so it's still under warranty have tried to use warranty and extended warranty for the second time but they're actually actually technicians so I believe their job is to not allow the customer to use it or have to fix or replace anything. The second issue I've had with my couch is the springs every time you adjust yourself on the couch get off of the couch sit down on the couch. It's squeaks from the springs. They said it was covered. They came over. I sat on the couch got off of the couch. He heard the squeaking in the Springs. He took the cushions off, pushed on the springs they squeaked and then said I don't hear any squeaking he literally just heard the squeaking and once again did nothing about it. My cushions are worn and he said I can replace your cushions and no cushions got replaced. It's all a scam to make you buy insurance. Oh boy! Where to begin? Let me start by saying this review is only for customer service. The sales person who helped me Ashton is excellent. In fact he's so good he should definitely go work somewhere else because they don't deserve him. I purchased a dining table and chairs several years ago and had issues I should have learned my lesson. However they had a sofa that I've been looking at getting for a while now. Their website States the size of this sofa very clearly. I received my sofa rather quickly. It looks beautiful. But I noticed a size discrepancy and a comfort discrepancy and a quality discrepancy. The day of my delivery I contacted the store and spoke with Alyssa. I explained to her why I was calling and that I measured the sofa and it does not match what is listed on the website and doesn't feel as large as the one I sat on in the store. She had someone there go measure it and it was still off from my measurements. My measurements were roughly 7 to 8 in difference in size to what the website states. The measurements they gave me of the floor model was still off by three or four inches overall. She said since I had called so quickly she was willing to do an even exchange. I had also mentioned that they had a cyber monday sale and that the sofa was a little over $200 cheaper. She told me she would credit my account for that amount. I have checked my account and the credit has come through. That's about the only thing Ashley has done right. She said that she would call me back in regards to the even exchange. I have never spoken to her again. I reached out to the store it is almost impossible to get anybody from the store on the phone. When I did get someone I let them know what was happening and they said they would leave a message for Alyssa. Still no return call. In dealing with customer service from the 800 number they literally have no idea what they're doing. So I called back and got the manager Melvin and explain the situation. I said I didn't need a tech to come out as I provided the measurements to them. He told me he would speak to Alyssa and that even though I've been told I would receive a call and didn't that he would call me back. That was a few days ago. No call back from Melvin. This morning at roughly 7:30 a.m. I received a call from Ashley from a 608 area code which is Wisconsin. I did not answer it I was sleeping on a Saturday morning. But the technician left me a voicemail stating that he agreed no one needed to come out and look at it. He then went on to explain that the website posts a larger size to make sure that you make room in your space for the sofa to fit. The issues I have with this are why does no one in the store know this? And why isn't it listed anywhere on the website that the measurements are not accurate to the size of the sofa and are just to make sure you have the correct area to put the piece of furniture? I was expecting a certain size that was not delivered. They need to make an adjustment to their websites stating these are not actual measurements and they need to train their staff to notify people purchasing furniture that the online measurements are not accurate. So now that I know the sofa is not the correct size I'd still like someone to deal with the fact that the back cushions are not filled evenly one cushion is nice and firm the other is saggy. The cushions that you sit on are literally crammed into the couch like they don't fit and hard as rocks. That is not what I sat on in the store. I realize that 50 million people have sat on that sofa but it should not be hard as a rock. The four pillows that come with it are completely down and I would say maybe half-filled so they look saggy as well. I guess we'll see how it holds up over time. But a word to the wise don't buy furniture from Ashley unless you want to be extremely frustrated and get the runaround for weeks. If that's your idea of a good time then by all means purchase furniture from Ashley. read more

I'm really serious, this business is the perfect model for a company that will go bankrupt eventually. Purchased a couch in Nov 2025... Jan 3 (BTW-doorstep delivery means they will do least possible work and drive away really fast) Anyway, I asked the delivery guys no I didn't want street delivery after they got smart with me because they were man handling the couch pretty rough and they didn't like that I asked if they could be careful. So I Get the couch indoors, unwrap it, wrong couch!!! It's a two piece and they sent one piece incorrectly. Bought dining chairs and here is the story... 1- Placed my order (6 chairs) on Sunday and was told I will be receiving a confirmation email and never received that. The delivery date was supposed to be by the end of that week. Contacted Ashley via their website/chat and was told it is going to take at least 3 weeks to get the items and they had no idea why store told me by the end of the week. Checked with the store and was told, the online associate was wrong and I will receive them. Checked back again and was told my order does not exist in their system. 2- Tuesday, I got only 4 of them in front of my door! Surprise! I checked with store and they had no idea what happened, but assumed the rest of my order will be arrive soon! Called their customer service and was told if they are not out of stock, I will get them by the end of the week. Otherwise, I need to wait until they become available! And they had no idea if they have those chairs available or NOT!!!!! 3- After few days, second package arrives with 2 more chair. Started assembling them, I noticed two chairs have issues (see attached photos). One with missing "insert thread" and another one with an oily "stain" on it. 4- Communicated with the "seller" through numbers on his business card and no response. Called them and was told I need to submit photos/ticket. I did on October 18th as requested and was told in 72 hours they will call me. No call of course. Followed up by email and called them later on 29th and was told another 72 hours and no response! My claim number is "09800413" if store is interested! November 4th and I am still waiting!!! This stores doesn't even deserve a star. I went to this location twice to look at sofas and bedroom sets. The furniture looks decent but not high quality. I would have possibly thought about buying something due to their low prices, but the sales people follow you around the store and are more persistent than a used car salesmen. . It's awful. One female sales person followed me around the store as I looked a bedroom set. Without showing any interest in buying the bedroom set, the sales person had already added up the price of the set on her iPad and showed it to me. She had added insurance to each piece. They are not only annoying and pushy at this store, but will probably take you for every penny you got. I also don't recommend trying to avoid buying from the store and buying online instead. I bought sofa I liked online. It was delivered weeks late and also 2 hours after the delivery time window. The delivery person couldn't fit the small sofa through the door of my house and ended up breaking my door and screen door. They also charged me a delivery fee after causing damage to my home. A total nightmare proceeded when calling Ashley to try to get reimburse for the damages to my home and the delivery fee. Helped me with getting a Saturday delivery. The loveseat and ottoman were delivered in a week. Received many texts and emails regarding confirmation and delivery time windows. On day of delivery, the driver, Ricardo called and gave me an ETA. He arrived right on time. Ricardo and Manuel brought the 2 pieces in and set up. Both were professional and courteous. Who ever they use to deliver the furniture is scandalous they scraped my walls on the way in to my room ...while I was observing them on my camera in the room because of the noise they were making one of the guys putting together the bed had noticed he chipped the foot board so he took a black felt pen out of his pocket and started to try to cover it up I walked in and told the guy who was in charge what had happened and told him I did not want that foot board he said no problem. I'm gonna take pictures of all the issues you have with the furniture and you can keep the footboard until we have somebody come and look at it and they will bring me a new one. like a dummy I signed the form that I have received the furniture. When I checked the email that I received after they delivered the furniture there was only one picture in the email receipt and it wasn't the one where they chipped my footboard ...I also found problems with the other dresser. I called Ashley where I purchased the furniture on that same day and of course they were of no help and just referred me to the customer service phone number which is not in the United States. They assured me they would send a technician. So my warning to you is do not sign anything and make them take the furniture back because now they're going to use the warranty that I purchased to put towards the new replacement furniture ... also you may not know you will not be able to use or stay in the room with the new furniture until you air it out at least for five days because the fumes from the furniture is so strong.. Ordered a lamp through the store and it was shipped to me. It cam without a lamp shade. I called into customer service to let them know and to get a shade sent to me. They said that would have to get this approved and it would take 3 days for me to hear on if it was approved. After 3 days, no one contacted me so I called again. The request was never submitted. They submitted request and I had to wait another 3 days to get an approval. On third day, I got approved, why I needed an approval for their mistake, I don't know? They said it would take 7-10 business days for item to ship. After 11 days I got an email saying that they did not have the replacement items and it would early Sept. before it would be shipped. They didn't have a date but sometime early September. That is 2 weeks from now and there is no guarantee that I will get the shade then if it doesn't come into the warehouse. Not sure why this is such a trial. I asked if they could just send me a new lamp and I'll return the old one with no shade. It has to be submitted and approved and I have to wait another 3 days. This has been really frustrating, especially since this was their error to start with. read more

TL;DR Ashley's sells low quality furniture(IKEA might actually be better. At least it doesn't pretend to be something it isn't), poorly designed and with consumer unfriendly policies. Purchased a sectional couch with delivery and installation. The installers failed to put the sectional together correctly and didn't test it, so sections of the couch fall backwards when sat on because nothing is holding that part of the sofa to the rest of it. Pulling the components apart finds that the workmanship is pretty poor and the design for connecting the sections is useless. Rather than connecting the individual sections with something like nuts and bolts, a couple of bolts are threaded into a thin piece of maybe plywood and those bolt drops into a slot on the other piece. Nothing locks anything into place and in my case, the piece with the receiving slot doesn't allow for the connecting piece to touch the floor. Ashley's response was to say, no returns and we told you that in the store (they didn't). I would not have bought an expensive item with that kind of policy but here we are. Their customer service has scheduled a "technician" in two weeks to come out and look at the problem. I truly enjoy having a piece of furniture I can't use. read more

Came here looking for a mattress set for my son on Laor Day. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the store was an employee sitting on top of the desk talking to another employee. No one acknowledged us. When someone finally came to help us, the sales guy didn't have any ideas or answers for us. He had to ask and clear everything with his manager. For example, I asked if the store was having a Labor Day weekend sale, he didn't know and but if there was something I wanted to buy he can have the manager bundle a price list for me. I didn't need to buy multiple things I just needed a mattress, clearly he didn't understand what I wanted and was trying to sell me more furniture I didn't need. Worst customer service ever.
