I stopped by World Market to see what was new. I haven't been to this location in a few years. They have a nice parking lot out front with two handicap parking spots. All the shopping carts are inside and have a long pole on them so you can't bring them outside. It was really nicely decorated when I walked in. All their displays looked so pretty and appealing. They have a nice kitchen and dining section with lots of beautiful glasses. I especially loved the plastic cups that had dried flowers floating loose inside the clear plastic. If you're still needing a Valentine's gift or cards, they have a nice selection of both. I found a really cute pop up Valentine's Day card for my husband. There a section of door mats that is so cute. There was a hamburger doormat and even steamed soup dumplings. I decided to get the steamed soup dumpling doormat. It is so fun and unique. Their Easter items are also out on display. They are really cute this year. I was kindly helped at the checkout by a very friendly employee. She showed me where I could download a coupon to use on my purchase. I saved $5. That was very nice of her. I will definitely have to remember to come here more often. This store has really cool items and I always find the items I came to shop for. I wish the same could be said for the staff. It just seems there is a sense of entitlement and lack of customer service. The cashier with the glasses and long dark hair please do better. If you don't want to treat customers well, then don't work with the public. read more

The store selection is awesome but the cashier I had was terrible. Her name was Melinda. She was very rude. I tried to pay with a visa gift card and she visibly rolled her eyes and said we can't take that. No explanation just acted like I was an inconvenience. My 2 year old sneezed and she gave me the rudest look. I couldn't believe it. My two older kids, my husband and I Just felt like she glared at us the whole checkout. After my recent visit to World Market, I see why this store appeals to customers. I rarely shop here. In addition to the houseware and decor, there is an entire food section (non refrigerated items) dedicated to popular items from around the world. One stop shop for those craving something good to eat from each country. Well, not sure if all the global markets are represented on the shelves there, but most global markets from what I recall. Got me some new coffee, Kimbo, from Napoli to try along with European chocolate biscuits. The store is spacious but it appeared there was not alot of merchandise out on the floor. This is my 1st time come to Cost Plus world market. Always drove by here alot and never knew what it was. For my experience this is the unique place to shop like chocolates, spice, sauces, chips, nuts, wine teas, dry fish, popcorn, pate, cheese, bath soap, hand wash, hand creams, lotions, mattress,sofa, funiture....endless list..Everything is neat & tidy and good place to shop for gifts for almost Christmas time. I want to give the store itself five stars but World Market owes us customers better. 1) The coupons are always holding up lines. We are at a point with technology where that shouldn't be an issue. 2) The store is stocked well but can be confusing at times with prices and sales. 3) The floors are very dusty and need to be cleaned better. 4) Their cash registers look like they're dinosaurs, which they are. A lady told me she used to work there over 30 years ago and they had the same registers. They're gross too, so dirty and falling apart. read more

Truthfully I never write yelp reviews however my experience with this place just now was awful. I walked into the store and immediately asked the cashier if the store had a restroom by any chance. I used the restroom and immediately after I realized I forgot my wallet in my car. I started to walk out to get my wallet and the cashier lady had stopped me and ask, "What, that's it?" I was confused immediately and I told her "oh, thank you for pointing out where the restroom was, I really appreciate it!" The lady then said, "so you're not going to shop" immediately after using the restroom and was about to get my wallet from my car. I honestly did not want to go back into the store because I felt embarrassed the cashier had nothing better to do than to make me feel bad in front of the other guests in the store. I don't plan to ever come back to this store and I really hope that the management/owner has a talk with its employees. The store was very well organized and looked like a wonderful place to shop for household appliances/goods. Incompetent staff who need to ask the manager a question every minute, and an apathetic manager who refuses to acknowledge clearly damaged merchandise and forced customers to wait in a 10 person line all over again because their registers don't all perform the same functions. The customers are rude too - I had multiple women shamelessly cut me in line (employees didn't say anything). read more

Came in to browse around lots of people lined up to check out, but the wait wasn't bad. Lots of things on sale if you are looking for unique gifts. I absolutely love this store. You can find fair trade coffee an assortment of different teas. Many many items from around the globe. This time I found an angel tree topper for our Christmas tree. The star we had just wouldn't stay on. This one was the last one and it's light and unique not your usual big doll type angel. Plus the last assortment of 6 ornaments which I debated about buying, but after getting them home I'm glad I made the purchase. read more

This store has amazing products to shop for multiple occasions: holidays, celebrations, house decorating, and more! Furthermore, the employees there are very kind and helpful when you need assistance on anything you're looking for (or if you need an opinion on what to buy). Personally, the main thing I enjoy buying over there is the treats because there are many unique brands that not every store has, and they offer delicious free samples at the inside front of the store to try (ex. They currently offer coffee samples). However, there is one thing I wish this store had for a better shopping experience...the ability to suggest on their website which outfits to wear and purchase. For example, on Amazon, while looking at a shirt, the website provides various best pants, jewelry, and shoes that would suit very well if I wanted to go with a theme. The reason I say this is because I had a hard time deciding on whether I wanted to buy a particular hat or not from this store. I needed to judge based on the shirts I already had, but I would've appreciated getting honest, expert advice from the website. That way, I wouldn't have to waste time making decisions. read more

This really is a unique place to shop. I especially love the gourmet food items they sell that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else. My favorites are Hanuta - the hazelnut wafers & you will find Aeros & many other European chocolates , marzipan, sweets - you name it - it's there. They also have extensive sections of unique spices, sauces, chips, nuts, pretzels, wines, teas. The list is endless. You can just spend hours browsing the food aisles. Just the place for unique food items & a great place to fill up a holiday or gift basket!! I also want to say a special word about a cashier called Jenn. She's been so incredibly courteous & helpful these past few times I've been in the store over the Holiday season. I went in 4 days before Christmas and as expected they barely had anything left. This is as empty as I've ever seen this store. I got my items and got in line which was literally to the back of the store and around the corner - i was expecting to be in that line until Xmas day but to my surprise it was very quick with only 3 cashiers Checking out was a breeze, the cashier was friendly but like other reviewers has mentioned, always watch the prices when scanning as the price on the shelf is not always the price that rings up. I didn't notice until I got to the car that an item was $3 more than the shelf price (I always make sure the shelf price is the actual item I buy by matching the UPC) but it was only $3 and the price I would gladly pay not to stand in that line again read more

Great place to find Euro products. This is not my usual Cost Plus but I was in the area and thought would be great to check out those Spanish turrones and other Christmas sweets that, honestly, seem to be cheaper here than in the country of origin! That is something that never ceases of amaze me! I also was surprised to found Nduja from Sicily (made in the US, not imported though), which is like sobrasada from Majorca (a pork meat spread that you add to bread and is the most delicious sandwich ever. That is not easy to find unless you go to an Italian specialty store, so I was happy with my findings. Good stock of products from everywhere. read more

I shopped today at this place. I found a cute magnet to put in my dishwasher labels $5.99 along with few other items. I got to my car and realized the price in the receipt was marked $8.99. I checked at the price of the other items I bought and bottle of "The raper hot sauce" was supposed to be 75% off as it was in the Halloween section were item were on sale now. They charged me $4.99. The bottle did not have price, as SO MANY items in the store today. I returned from the parking lot to the store and asked the cashier to adjust the prices. She called the manager. I cannot remember his name, but I believe it was Jack (Tall men with salt and pepper hair). He said he will adjust the price for the magnet, but not for the hot pepper bottle. He took me to the "right" place where the bottle supposedly was, but no other bottles of the same products were there; nor was a label of the mentioned bottle on that section. I assured him that I found the bottle at the Halloween section which is 75% off. Also, the bottle obviously was a Halloween item, because the bottle had a cape made of fabric and a mask on it. I invited the manager to check on the store camera's as this sauce bottle was the last one in the Halloween section where I found it; but he insisted that although there was no label on the hot sauce section for this bottle, nor the product had a label, that the product was a regular price item. He also said it was charged correctly. What a horrible business! Raising prices of products they already had, overcharging customers and getting away with that! That was a single transaction, with overcharged more than $5 total....how many transactions a day overcharged I wonder!!!! No wonder they send me the 15% coupon read more

I'm a pretty big fan of Cost Plus World Markets and this location is absolutely no exception. Service is always stellar, and the things you can buy are are always interesting to look out. They have a lot of products from around the world and they have their own line of products. They even have a line of wine! I also love the visuals on the bottle and they make great for decoration. I've bought a few bottles from them, but have never actually tried the wine! Still, this location is great and it's hard to express what you can actually fine here as there is so much! It's pretty amazing to be honest. From great prices, service, and goodies, this is a great place to shop. I love this store! Things have gotten so much easier now since stores offer online shopping. I received an email regarding their Black Friday deals and what lured me into buying online is that instead of having to pay for shipping, they offer purchase online and pick up in store. Deal! They notify you via email when items are ready for you pick up. During the holidays and just in general, they always carry the most unique and interesting gifts. I purchased some cute gifts online on Thanksgiving Day and was notified via email that they were ready the next day. I came back on Black Friday evening, store was neat, organized, and clean. I shopped and bought a few more items and headed over to a designated area for online pick up. My items were wrapped up neatly in paper and placed in bags. I wasn't happy with one of the items upon inspection, there were some imperfections on the ceramic, and Randy, the sales associate kindly found a replacement. Thank you Randy!! Big big store with something to buy where ever you look, I mean ever square inch has something, there is so much product that my brain started to hurt just trying to take it all in. I asked the cashier if they had Torrone? She said yes it's right over there "pointing" I said I just looked over there "she giggled and said I can see it from here" well anyway I must have spent 2 hours looking around picking up unique food items for my family and friends for Christmas. This store definitely has a "I want it" cool factor for foodies. The prices are a bit on the high side however but that didn't stop me from buying a bunch of yummy items to the tune of $130 like Torrone, Marzipan bars, pickled herring, Ghost peppers sausage rolls, salmon pate, cheeses, etc., etc.crackers and even gummy bears laugh out loud. This place is just awesome! Really, it is. I love their stuff. We can always find something we need and it's a great place for stocking stuffers. I was ornament shopping earlier this evening and with about 12 ish or so ornaments in my hand a kind employee asked me if she could get me a basket! It's these little things. These are things that make me want to just buy more and more and more.... we didn't see poker chip chocolates this year, but they have plenty of other stuff Also.... bummer that none of the ornaments were on sale, but.... when I got tot the register, I did a text, replied with a text and bam... 30% off.... the entire order! read more

I really like this location and found a lot of beautiful pieces for my new place but the real reason I'm writing this review is for the customer service. Travis went out of his way to help me with so many things including looking up products, helping me get signed up for the rewards program, getting me products from the back, and even helping me get them in my car!! I have been to this location twice and had the luck of having him help me. He was even training someone during the last visit and was so patient and kind with the new employee. They're so helpful in this store! It's really surprising to see people at the register who actually care. She walked me though the process for creating an account very patiently and I asked about some random thing and she was so helpful about it. The lady before me left her cart right in front of the register like a jerk, and the cashier calmly walked around the register and started to move it, then saw a pair of earrings in the bottom. She ran out to ask the customer if they were hers, basically the kindest person ever. They have neat products at this store that you will never find elsewhere. Handmade imported things. The bath and body section is particularly fun. Great place to shop for gifts. Interior decorators spend thousands in this store. I got some of the best Christmas gifts ever there today. read more

Did you know there is a large gourmet food section? All my favorite childhood brands - Walkers shortbread, Baci, Kinder & Cadbury chocolates, Ceres juices (from S. Africa- how cool is dat?), popcorns and chips in every unique flavor imaginable. It's worth a first visit when you have the time to browse. As for service...it's like any other large retailer...***till you begin to notice the small stuff***: - fast lines (even during the holidays) - sweet, sweet staff that goes out of their way to accommodate you (no matter how crazy busy it gets!) - mostly staffed with petite women, but they'll haul big heavy boxes to your car AND load it to your satisfaction...without hesitation! Curb side pick up is a total joke. Most places I order from for curbside pick up usually take 30-60min. I placed my order a little before they opened and waited an hour. I called and asked the person over the phone how long it usually takes in total for them once an order is placed. The response I got was, " if you ordered an hour ago, 40 people probably ordered ahead of you. We have a lot of orders." Obviously you have a lot of orders it's the holidays, but that's not what I asked you. Ended up going in and purchasing my items before my pick up order. I find that the older I get, the more I enjoy Cost Plus. As a child, I hated going here with my mother but now, I make any excuse to go shopping here! With hundreds of unique and quirky pieces from jewelry, to home decor, to diverse food, Cost Plus World Market is a great place to find the perfect piece for yourself or as a gift. I can always rely on CP to get the most interesting gifts for friends and family. I always find things there that I never knew insisted. They also have a really cool beer section where you can create your own 6 pack! Did that as a Christmas Gift once! The only negative thing I have to say is that the line gets fairly long and you'll have to wait a bit, but they have really cute things to look at in shelves while you wait :) read more

At first I didn't understand what this place had to offer, but I love all the unique items here. In particular the Original New York Seltzer water variety packs and the Bundaberg Ginger Beer multipacks. The wine selection here can be decent but only worth it if you buy a lot of wines in bulk, they do let you mix and match though. They have some chia and quinoa chips from the brand Late July that are incredibly good it's hard to believe that they are healthy tortilla chips, it's become the go-to chip for my salsa and guacamole or just to snack on. Cost plus does have some items you just can't find anywhere else, at least not easily. read more

Lovely items from all over the world. mostly from east European and Mediterranean countries. Some from the country I am originally from. I am so grateful for the kind and clever associates at this particular CPWM location. I'm particularly thankful for Jeff, who was incredibly gracious, and very creative in helping me to come up with an efficient purchase and delivery plan. I don't know how Jeff was able to multitask so easily (and on the Saturday afternoon before Mother's Day), but he helped locate three large items in the back of the store and he secured two large items on the store floor. He encouraged me to use the Lugg service advertised within CPWM (I was stunned by how well this worked), and he took the time/energy to help me load my car with the four pieces that I had room for. I am so grateful for his expertise, and I was so impressed that he continued to field questions/inquiries from his colleagues and other customers, all while organizing my purchase and delivery details.
