I don't know why this place doesn't have a higher Yelp! Rating, to be honest. I stopped in to quench my craving for Chinese take out. As a first timer, the place was unassuming and I wasn't expecting much. Well, I was dead WRONG! I ordered the General Tso's combo, with pork fried rice, and an order of fried wontons. The General Tso's was crispy, with the right amount of sauce, and made with white meat chicken. That got a couple of stars on its own. The fried wontons were crispy and filling was flavorful and well seasoned. I've had a lot of fired wontons in my day, and most places fall short. Not here, I will come in just for those alone. Please give this place a try. The owner chatted while preparing my food, was so kind and genuine. I would've stayed much longer, had I not been on a schedule. Well done China Inn! read more

Don't ever come here. $18 and this is what they give you. They call this beef teriyaki and you only get the one. The rangoon has hardly any crab and the chicken fingers are all batter. A total waste of money. I'm disgusted. read more

Ordered a take out. What was delivered was not what I ordered. I called and was got yelled at and told what I ordered was not on the menu. I took a ride and showed the woman who said she was a manager. After showing her the item was on the menu she was still yelling telling me I didn't order the right thing. I phoned in our order from a menu we were given at a major hotel at TF Green Airport. What I opened wasn't what I ordered and without the drink. I called down the hall to the delivery man but he slipped into the elevator and was gone. I called China Inn but the order taker yelled at me and hung up. It took a threatening call to the China Inn from the hotel night manager to remedy the situation. My guess is they prey on travelers and do little business with locals. read more

I eat here on a regular basis since it is near my weekly night class. I am a WFPB eater so I get the plant based dishes like Vegetable Mei Fun. It is normal Chinese American fast food, but it is healthy and nutritious if you pick the right foods. It looks small from the outside but there are 5 or 6 tables for dining in. I've always received what I ordered, no mess ups. The pricing is fair. The wonton soup is good. Like all other Chinese places around here, they're not all over good. Only some things. Here's what I have for ya... fried rice, no. Just no. It's just not right. Doesn't taste awful, but it's not right. Beef with broccoli... well, the sauce is good. Broccoli has a nice crunch. The beef, it's either going bad or it's just not beef. Tender but there's something off about the taste. Sweet and sour chicken... sauce is ok but the chicken is basically all batter. Egg rolls... I love the crispy outside. The inside is complete mush and isn't very much flavor. It's like baby food inside. Boneless spare ribs.... Very fatty. Not much meat. Hot and sour soup... not the worst, not the best. Probably wouldn't get it again. Crab Rangoon, mostly cream cheese, and that's about all you taste. So I've made a few attempts here but the lack of consistency and everything I explained above has put this place on my don't eat here list. We had takeout it was very very good our daughter went to pick it up and she was saying it was very clean and sanitary there was plastic up everywhere you couldn't get into the restroom without a mask because she has come back home and get hers. But the food was amazing as far as I'm concerned we had a egg foo young as well as pork fried rice crab Rangoon and chicken fingers. It was very very good. Our daughter and her husband had I believe he had a spicy chicken dish and she had like a two appetizer combination plate with chicken that was sweet and sour. Everything was wonderful the only thing they did was they did forget to put in duck sauce and hot mustard but other than that it was really exceptional looking forward to going there again for a small place it really went above and beyond. read more

Absolutely terrible. The food made me sick to my stomach and nothing was what I expected. I ordered the A4. Beef Teriyaki, Chicken Wings, and Crab Rangoon Special Combo and the Chicken wings and Fried Rice were soaked in grease. The Crab Rangoons barely had any filling in them whatsoever, and the little that was there was overly sweet. As soon as I opened the door the closed delivery bag filled the hallway and the room with a disgusting bad Seafood smell that continued when I opened the appetizer! The shrimp was rubbery and smelled so disgusting I didn't dare have even one bite and threw it out immediately! I had to actually take the entire clothes bag outside to the trash because I couldn't get the smell out of my nose The Duck Sauce was nothing but sugar water and was completely inedible ​ as well the luncheon special of General Tso's chicken with fried rice that tasted like a microwave frozen meal, only for three times the price! I just ordered from this place earlier tonight and was far from disappointed. I placed my order for delivery at 6:30 and the delivery guy was knocking on my Extended Stay hotel room door by 6:50. Talk about SPEEDY. I got the crab rangoons, roast pork egg foo young, two cans of soda, and received the small chicken rice soup for free. I laughed when I opened the bag and found a billion sauce packets and 3 fortune cookies. I ordered a lot of food because I'm in need of leftovers due to car problems and being stuck at my hotel, but I'm excited to see what all my fortunes are! The food is delicious and I had to restrain myself from inhaling more than I needed to eat since it tasted so good. I'm hoping everything will taste just as good as leftovers! read more

Pros: delivery was fast. Order was accurate. Driver was friendly! Cons: genuinely everything else. Food was overpriced. Not a lot of food for the money -- I live in Boston, and I've gotten better portion sizes and (much) tastier food in the city for way less money than from here. Food was cold when I got it, despite it arriving early. Crab rangoons were disappointing. Lumpy filling, overfried exterior. Pork fried rice was dry and tasted like it was made yesterday. Also contained two or perhaps three tiny pieces of pork, a few lumps of scrambled egg, and literally nothing else? No vegetables at all. Gross. Chicken was a little pink inside. Everything was lukewarm, even the batter on the outside. I'm thinking they fry chicken for sesame/orange/lemon/etc chicken dishes a few times a week, and microwave it as it's ordered. Absolutely vile. I hadn't eaten all day and paid almost $20 for this, so I did my best to eat it, but it tasted abysmal and I ended up with stomach cramps and aches that genuinely kept me awake all night. This is a rating for delivery. I find that almost every restaurant takeout isn't quite as good. My guess is a meal just tastes better eaten as soon as it's off the pan. I'll address some of issues I've seen in other review such as portion size as you can see from the photo of my Appetizer 10 combo is rather generous. I was pretty surprised I could get rice and lo mein in one combo. Delivery was insanely fast and the food was still pretty warm but not hot but it wasn't cold by any stretch either. My favorite part of the combo was the veggie lo mein they let me substitute bc I'm not a big fan of pork. Most Chinese places won't let you make changes even if you offer to pay more so that was a definitely plus. This is the best lo mein I've had in years. The crunchiness of the green beans was very nice. The flavor of the fried rice wasn't appealing to me but doesn't mean someone else wouldn't like it. The crab ragoons were rather light not greasy not a very thick cream which I prefer myself. The sweet and sour chicken sauce was a little different and I liked it, it wasn't super syrupy and thick. Again a lighter sauce for someone like me w a bit of a sensitive stomach is a good thing. I'd liked the chicken came in small pieces. Often times you'll get large pieces of chicken from other restaurants that don't feel quite cooked in the inside kind of soft and squishy but this was nice and crispy. I would venture to guess this place would be a 4 if you dined in house. read more

Quality is beginning to slip here. Downgrade from 3 to 2. I still like the soups, but the entrees the last few times have consistently been poorly executed. They're burning everything breaded now. Orange chicken, Crab rangoons, anything breaded comes out well done. This evenings pork fried rice looked and smelled like dog food. Not good. Please get it together. read more
