I visited Asia One recently in the middle of some heavy rain, and on a Saturday afternoon to boot. Despite it being the weekend, it seems a lot of people were kept inside by the rain, as it was only myself and my two friends for lunch. We were seated immediately and presented with some fairly standard menus for Asian restaurants - basic hand rolls, fried rice, and things you'd expect to see on a take-away menu. Despite that, the full portions were pretty pricey, hence why we went for the lunch menu. The three of us split the three-roll lunch combo, with spicy tuna, spicy crab meat, and eel and avocado rolls. There are about 12 different options to choose from, and they're only about $4 each when you average out the $11.95 price tag. After that, I went in for the salmon hibachi, which comes with sauteed vegetables and fried or white rice. I got chicken fried rice, as well as a house salad and miso soup. The quality of the fish was a bit sub-par, but the portions were large. Overall, that was only $7, and it was more than enough with the rolls to fill me up for the rest of the day. I wouldn't say that the service was great, but it was acceptable. The waitress didn't always communicate clearly or understand what we were saying, but it was only a minor hiccup. I'll keep this place in mind for days when I want a beer and a nice Asian lunch, but I wouldn't use it as a dinner location. read more

You can no longer order over the phone for delivery. This is crazy. When you order online there is a $5 convenience fee and a $5 delivery and a suggestion for a tip. And the note for the tip "all tips go to the driver". Where is the delivery fee going? Is that not a tip? Will no longer be ordering from Asia One. That markup is greedy. read more

Service horrible. Today on New Year's Eve. I ordered food at 7.53pm they told me 20-30 mins walked in at 8:35pm place was mobbed with approximately 20 people waiting around counter like a fire hazard waiting to burst.you could feel the hangry tensions in the air. I yelled out if everyone was waiting to approach counter or waiting for food call to check out..... Wasn't even place to park which I haven't ever seen it like this. I parked a block away. On the side of old vanson leathers. Nobody was at the bar either it was all pick up orders. I told the person at counter how long they thought.couldnt tell me since they been in the wrong telling people other so they stopped giving time to avoid arguing or a crowd disruption . she told me total but I wasn't paying fuk that I'm not that dumb.I said I'll try back soon maybe half hour. She says I don't guarantee anything. I came back at 9:23 pm and still wasn't even made yet they told me. WTF!! I have NEVER EVER seen a service like this. RUINED THE appetite and my whole FKN NIGHT! I will NEVER come here again. Hope they enjoy eating that 40 dollar order if they even made it which I doubt it. I'm assuming like an intelligent individual, with lil business knowledge, they most likely only prioritized pre-paid orders and instead of telling new orders or calling back customers that previously ordered to pick up, then maybe explaining the flood of orders and only orders pre-paid would be processed and made only. It's ok folks because right, Karma has its opportunities and always strikes when its least expected or due. soon as it's possible to return the favor those employees placed in so many folks tonight. As cheap and tight ass as that owner / company is, they could have simply made it right to many customers. I can't wait to hear about all these horrible orders and treatments by comments eventually placed maybe not here but I can almost guarantee it you will hear of negative responses on Facebook IG tiki tok etc.....it was bananas. an establishment that is very well known for years and continue to pull this every fkn year !! They unfortunately never improved their greediness!!!! They only went more negative. Why?? Maybe no employees or cooks??? Thank god for other good Chinese places that also make amazing Chinese or oriental cuisine who want my money and wouldn't EVER treat a customer NEVERMIND customers like 20 plus at once. Can't make this up.....Wish I ordered earlier and elsewhere but Asia one is close to me I also don't order out often so I forgotten about the shitty treatments on the holidays EVES. Lesson learned. Put an order in at 5:25 pm New Year's Eve. Was told the order would be ready in 30 to 35 minutes. Arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm to at least 20+ people waiting for their food order. They have you go up to the counter, they recite your order, take your money, but then tell you they have NO idea how much longer your food will be ready. We didn't get our food until 8 pm. They had us and several other patrons waiting over 1 to 2 hours for our food. This restaurant has no regard for the families and children waiting at home to eat. They have no regard for people's time. They have no regard for NYE plans people had. They only thing they cared about was making money. Well, I am here to say SHAME ON YOU, ASIA ONE BISTRO, for taking orders one after the other, telling people it would be ready in 30 minutes, and making people wait hours for their food. I would of have more respect if you told me that the food would be ready in 2.5 hours and I could have stayed home with family and then picked up the food when it was done. DO NOT ORDER SUSHI HERE! Seriously!! Ordered Sushi here for the first time ever yesterday ate only 3 pieces and started feeling really weird, then ended up in the ER with FOOD POISONING! Was projectile vomiting for hours, had fever & chills, dripping sweat, could barely walk and talk, my hands went completely numb, and was in the bathroom for hours. I went here the weekend of Thanksgiving and loved it!!! We live right up the street the the location is convenient. The atmosphere is amazing the decor was really pretty and it's lit mostly by candles. The food was amazing! I like that they have such a wide variety on their menu. I'm honestly not a big sushi fan but it's one of my boyfriends favorite foods so finding a place that has sushi and a lot of other food options can be challenging. We went in the day after Thanksgiving so there wasn't many people there our food came out really quick. I'm not sure what normal weekend wait times are. What a delight! My friends and I decided to stroll down to this new asian restaurant that still had the "Grand Opening" sign plastered out front and d00d. Awesome. All of the staff is very kind and courteous (and even the delivery drivers are amazing!) The restaurant had a nice moderne decor - be sure to check out the bathrooms. There is not only Chinese, but Japanese on the menu, too! (I know I know, things you shouldn't do, but somehow they made it work). I got some sort of mysterious schezuan like dumpling appetizer thing. I can't really describe it because it was unlike any other schezuan dumpling I've had - not very spicy (*cry*) - but still good. And the beef negimaki? Order that. Now. The sushi quality was excellent. They have a nice selection of rolls and the salmon sashimi was top notch. There was even a crazy drink menu with two different pages of crazy cocktails. But the most important question is, WHAT ABOUT DESSERT? If you order the tempura ice cream, be prepare for a concoction of MAMMOTH proprortions. I got the green tea and it was awesome and HUGE. Here I thought I'd get the usual tiny scoop deep fried and served up, but this was a MAMMOTH scoop, split into FOUR MAMMOTH PIECES, with whip cream, a cherry, and chocolate drizzle. You would never know it by the outside, but the inside of Asia One looks fresh and trendy. cool light fixtures and hanging chandeliers add style to the sushi bar, circle bar and dining area. There's a Pepsi cola cooler visible when you walk in which looks kind of out of place... Doesn't go well with the decor. I've only tried their Sushi and it is Japanese style.. Small portions. If you are looking for more Americanized sushi rolls then this is not your place. my takeout order was wrong and they fixed it but it was an inconvenience to have to drive back. A bunch of us decided to order take out/delivery from Asia One Bistro. We called around 4:30 PM on a Saturday and they gave us an estimated 1 hour delivery time !!! Unheard of such a long delivery time at a place that is only 2 miles away from the restaurant. The order was placed over the phone and we we got the food, we realized they had messed up the order, they gave us twice as many spring rolls as we ordered and they completely forgot to include a sushi roll we ordered. Customer service at this place is very basic, almost non existent.. The sushi is actually good, but the Chinese entrees are fair to good. Not sure what is going on here. Some of the food has taken a downturn, while the rolls are still quite good. Service is atrocious; my party of three was all but ignored after the food was served and we had to flag down another waitress to have her send ours over. She spent most of her time chatting on her phone at the front desk. Never got to order more rounds of drinks. The hip hop music is totally inappropriate and belongs in a NYC dance club. So I've been going to this restaurant for years and never have never faced this problem before. I loved it up until this point I had to argue with a disgruntled worker saying I had gotten two rolls one being a Philadelphia roll and another a tuna sashimi.the problem started when I did not get the tuna sashimi and the Philadelphia roll was a spicy tuna roll. Used to love going here but a month ago I saw the manager treat their employee like complete garbage in front of customers and even pushed her. Then a few weeks later when I went back they messed up my order gave it to a delivery driver while I waited 30 min for them to tell them after they had noticed 20 min before. I placed an order for delivery (a mile and a half away) and was told it would take 30-40 minutes. After two hours I called to ask where it was and was told that the computer system didn't transfer it so it was never made, and they would deliver it right away. That's fine, mistakes happen. But then only a few minutes later my delivery shows up. How did it only take a few minutes to cook all of the food and drive it over? All of the food was cold. Ten minutes later I get another call that my delivery is outside. They lied about the first order apparently. It was sitting inside the delivery drivers car for TWO hours. And they still delivered it even though it was sitting out for so long. Then they delivered a second order. Honesty would've gone a long way. Delivering food that old can make people sick. read more

It's about time a sushi joint opened up in Fall River. Service: (I came here twice) First time, I had Yang, she was pretty good. Attentive and provided good recommendations since it was my first time. Second time, I didn't catch his name but he was HORRIBLE. Appetizer came out late, messed up my entree, NEVER checked up on us, took forever coming to our table the first time, and forgot a few things that we requested. Food: I had steak hibachi, BOMB. Steak was tender and had a lot of flavor. I also had the Spicy Crunchy Crab roll, I wish there was avacado or cucumber in the roll but regardless it was still delicious. For drinks we had a scorpion bowl and a mango mai tai, a little on the strong side for a mixed drink but it was still tasty. Decor: RED, lots and lots of red in this place. It gives it a more romantic/evening setting. It's pretty bold. Price: It varies, but it's pretty standard pricing for whatever you order whether its a roll, hibachi plate, or a combination plate. Overall, I would come back but only because the food is good and I enjoy the wide variety on the menu. read more

The Chinese is ok, but the sushi isn't that great. 25% off on Monday & Wednesday is what makes me come back for the mei fun only. It's not the worse or best Chinese I've had in the city, but it's fine. Friend ordered chicken chow mein before and she said it "smelled funny & tasted weird". She asked for my opinion since my parents owned a Chinese restaurant before & I worked there for years in a neighboring town. I smelled it right away & knew it was the dark frying oil in it, so either the cook didn't strain all the oil out of the chicken when frying it, or some spilled in it somehow. This restaurant produces very low quality food. I get there is a pandemic but come on. For the extra charges we get the least you could do is make it worth it. The last time I ordered from here was last summer and I remember the food being of better quality. I mainly order sushi and/or hibachi and now I find it better at Tokyo Steakhouse or even Asian House. I have brought friends and family here in the past with no complaints except parking issues but last night was it for me. The food was an hour and a half late. I only received a text message which didn't display the total so I asked the driver through my ring camera and was having difficulty which is why I think he did what he did. But, The total was $64.20 (with tip) and I paid cash I handed him an $80 he handed me back 6 dollars. I didn't confront him because I didn't realize until I got back upstairs. I called him when he was still outside, no answer. I get I won't get my money back for that and it's my fault for not checking right away but hope he enjoys it. Now the Hibachi steak and chicken dinner and the boneless spare ribs were dry flavorless and overall disappointing. By this time it was about 8pm and I obviously had to cook something else for my daughter and I. We took one bite out of the main dishes And the rest is still in the bag.
