This is my favorite spot for Chinese food in the city. I really love the Spicy crunchy crab roll and the spicy tuna crab. I like that there pork friend rice has big pieces of pork, and their boneless spare ribs aren't just fat. Prices are very affordable. I will say that the service is just ok though. When I've been the waiters seem more interested in there conversations than making sure we were ok. Drinks are appropriately prices. They have a decent Mai Tai too. read more

Thankfully the first sushi place to open in the city turns out to be one of the best I've ever been too. Chinese food is very good especially the hibachi fried rice and lo mein. Everything thing else is as good or better than most Chinese joints in the area. What really sets them apart is the sushi. The sashimi is very fresh and all the rolls are done well. Great recipes and amazing presentation. Highly recommended sweetheart and lollipop rolls. There are a few negatives though. Table service isn't the best. Delivery is long but that's a first world problem so whatever. If you don't like the latest pop music might not be your place to stop sit for a drink. Bartenders are better than the waiters but it's a Chinese food place the service is always going to be a little different it's a cultural thing. Get over it ! Food makes up for all it's shortcomings by far. Highly recommended. Fall River would be better off with more places like this to eat. read more

This restaurant produces very low quality food. I get there is a pandemic but come on. For the extra charges we get the least you could do is make it worth it. The last time I ordered from here was last summer and I remember the food being of better quality. I mainly order sushi and/or hibachi and now I find it better at Tokyo Steakhouse or even Asian House. I have brought friends and family here in the past with no complaints except parking issues but last night was it for me. The food was an hour and a half late. I only received a text message which didn't display the total so I asked the driver through my ring camera and was having difficulty which is why I think he did what he did. But, The total was $64.20 (with tip) and I paid cash I handed him an $80 he handed me back 6 dollars. I didn't confront him because I didn't realize until I got back upstairs. I called him when he was still outside, no answer. I get I won't get my money back for that and it's my fault for not checking right away but hope he enjoys it. Now the Hibachi steak and chicken dinner and the boneless spare ribs were dry flavorless and overall disappointing. By this time it was about 8pm and I obviously had to cook something else for my daughter and I. We took one bite out of the main dishes And the rest is still in the bag. I would definitely order from them again. Beef lo mein combo = a hit!! Hot, flavorful, cooked well. I also love the scallions in it. Not a huge fan of the calamari though....I mean really, $7 for a tiny container of calamari? Ughh! Note: I get that this not an American place but...all I can taste is this flavorless breading on it. It doesn't taste like calamari at all. It was also cold...and reheating fried food is always a fail. Skip it. Went here on a Sunday afternoon for my weekly sushi date with Mom. I've been to a lot of sushi/hibachi joints and the fish here was fresh and the atmosphere was nice but the service and organization on the staff was just plain bad. We ordered a spicy scallop roll, something I had never tried before, and it was awesome! Who knew scallops in sushi would be so delish. We also ordered a sweetheart roll which was equally delicious. We tried to have the thai spring rolls as an appetizer, but it was more like dessert considering it came after we had finished the sushi and recieved our check. However they were delicious, stuffed with a juicy jumbo shrimp and loaded with fresh veggies I just wish they would have come out when we wanted them . Timely service seems to be a problem at Asia One. We seated ourselves and must have waited 15 minutes before silverware and menus arrived, and another 10 minutes before our waitress took our drink order (awesome green tea by the way ). Then came the parade of waiters and waitresses. We must have been serviced by 5 different staff members, and we became annoyed because they came to our table every few minutes once we had our food. Overall the place is a nice addition to Fall River, very pretty inside, and I would consider it for a party if the service improves. We actually have never been inside here - I'm realizing that we should probably stop in. We order delivery from here...A LOT! We've never been disappointed, though sometimes it takes longer than we'd like (much longer than your average Asian food place). The sushi is great for the price and the area. Chinese food that we have had from here isn't my favorite though. We haven't' lived in Fall River terribly long, so I haven't really tried all the Chinese places, but I prefer to order the sushi when I order from here. Went here for dinner with a pretty big group (8 of us) and had a great time. It was a Saturday night and there was no wait, which was awesome because it was 1 hour or more at every other place we stopped. It was my first time eating at Asia One, but one of my friends I was with recommended the place and we all were glad she did. Everything we ordered was correct and came to us in a timely fashion and most importantly, was delicious. As for the restaurant itself, the decor is very nice. It's classy looking and clean. The neighborhood isn't the best, but parking was easy to find. The bathroom was a little dark, however. Overall, I had a great experience. After recently moving to Fall River from New Bedford I'd been searching for a new go-to Chinese food restaurant and everything else I tried before Asia One was a disappointment. This has become our go-to Chinese/Sushi takeout restaurant in the area. Every meal that we've had there has been delicious. The sushi is always fresh and some of the best that I've had. Sometimes the service and food are good and other times it is not. My son loved the sushi he got here and he's a pretty picky eater. When ordering food that should be hot when served it is not always as hot as it should be once it's delivered to the table. There have been issues with the wait staff getting the order right several times in the past and they can be VERY slow. The place is clean (I've never seen the bathrooms) which is a huge plus. The music they play is highly questionable and some of it should NOT be played at a restaurant (I was there was Thursday and a song came on with very foul language and an inappropriate subject manner - it was not changed and I was not the only one there with a child under 18). Worst customer service I have EVER received. Placed an order online. Order was COMPLETELY messed up wrong items sent an HOUR after ordering. Called back for replacement and got blamed by girl who answered the phone saying I ordered it wrong then got HUNG UP ON!. They advertise a 25% discount on online pick up orders on Mondays and when my daughter picked it up they said " oh we don't do that anymore" and refused to honor the advertised discount . Absolutely terrible delivery times, 1-2 hours consistently. The people who work here have the most ATROCIOUS customer service skills I have ever experienced. And to be honest, you could drive 10 minutes in any direction to get better sushi. The only reason this place is even in business is because their "bartenders" serve 11%+ ABV beers in 16oz pilsner glasses. If they fail to deliver your food in a reasonable amount of time (or fail to bring it at all), they are more likely to double charge you than actually refund you. Great sushi, though I'm not partial to their version of spicy "crunchy" tuna. Yummy crab salad (only for you spicy mayo lovers!) and great hibachi fried rice! I love that you can swap out regular pork fried rice on the menu with hibachi style rice, which is way better. The food tastes fresher than any other pick up/order out place in the area, and it's a bit pricier to match. Definitely worth it! It's disappointing when an establishment who's success is built on the customers they serve have absolutely no consideration for those customers and care very little if they have a good experience. This is the case with Asia One. The food is good. The service, not so much. Ordered food. Did not get what I ordered. They made a mistake and forgot to ring it in. Do you think they would apologize and send it out? Nope. They refused to do anything for us. Even though we spend a ton of money there. We order once or twice per week, plus a big order on New Year's Eve and on occasion when we have company. *Oh, sorry we made a mistake but you need to pay for it and wait another 45 minutes to an hour to receive it. Have fun eating cold food*. So buyer beware: Your business means absolutely nothing to the folks at Asia One. So bring it elsewhere. read more

This place is really hit or miss. They are trying hard to a an asian fusion menu in an upscale way for Fall River, great look on the inside a bar menu that wont quit and great bartenders the biggest problem is the food portion. A group of 10-15 of us have sat at the bar drinking and ordering sushi and to our surprise the sushi chef spent more time crouching down playing with his phone than he did making any rolls 20 minute for 2 rolls when we were the only people ordering sushi come on! So we stopped going in and thought delivery was the way to go. ALMOST 2 HOURS FOR DELIVERY we were quoted 45 minutes the driver said it took so long because the manager had him drop his son off somewhere way out of the way that just isn't right. I've ordered Chinese food from here several times, and it's pretty good. I came today to try the sushi and sat at the sushi bar. If I knew the service was this bad I would've done take out for it! The sushi was pretty good, not great but was ok. The spicy tuna was not even close to spicy but that's a preference I guess. The fish was pretty fresh, smelled great. Their menu was pretty "Americanized" not very sushi orientated and kinda boring but the staples were there. I'm pretty sure they advertise uni but are always out of it, can't see it being a popular enough item for the area to be out of it... Service was terrible. Bartender eating food right behind the bar of guests, wiping her mouth and nose and all... Let me just preface this by stating I've been here on multiple occasions. Each visit has been a been a bit different. Briefly put, the sushi is high quality for the price. You're simply not going to find sushi in the area any cheaper or fresher. However, the Chinese food is subpar and cannot even compare to any of the standard and plentiful Chinese joints in the area. That said, the service is notoriously terrible. The only times I've received good service has been seated at the bar, or ordering takeout. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and my food always comes out on time and the service is prompt. I've brought people here and have sat down in a traditional booth as well. That experience is always much less notable. I've been either over charged or completely neglected each time. One time I was seated at the bar, and one of servers was complaining about a party with a $200 bill that only left a $4 tip. As a food service worker myself, I sympathized. "Dude! That's awful! Sorry." Until I brought a friend there one night and received him as our server. He came over twice, once to hastily and rudely take our order, the other to give us the check. A half hour later we were still waiting for him to take the check. We got up, went to the counter, paid,and walked out. I left a $2 tip because I felt sorry for the guy ( a bit high for a $7 bill with terrible service, but it is good to be the better person.) My dining partner left him nothing. Tips: Order takeout or sit at the bar. Be aware of a potentially apathetic server. Order sushi, not chinese. read more
