If you don't like breaded meats they can cook it without breading or frying! I ordered the jalapeño chicken not breaded/fried. It was really good! Spicy but not overwhelming. It had a really good flavor! My only complaint hey skimped a little on the chicken. But the meal was still good. The guy who took my order was very nice and helpful with items on the menu. This is a good place to go in the downtown area on your lunch hour. The service is fast and they have plenty of menu options. I like my dishes more in the spicy side so I get jalapeño chicken (chicken sautéed with red chiles and tons of veggies) which you can ask for steamed rice and upgrade to a combo which includes a drink and an egg roll. This is a common go-to location for my coworkers and I when we are in the mood for fast asian food. They now also offer sushi rolls which are very good considering the convenience. They offer common rolls such as California Rolls, Philadelphia, Rainbow, etc. These rolls are made fresh daily. They also have good vegetarian and customization options. You can choose White, Brown, or Fried rice. The spice level can be adjusted, and you can also request broccoli or vegetables instead of rice (if you are looking for low carb). They offer Mongolian Tofu which is a great vegetarian option. The hot and sour soup is good, which is my litmus test for asian/Chinese fast food. I like the atmosphere better than Chef Wang, and love the jalapenos in soy sauce they have along with the other standard condiments. They accept all credit cards now, (used to be cash only), so this is more convenient. read more

I mean really, it is what it is. It's in the B of A plaza and it's in a open-ish corner of the underground plaza. I had some lo-mein and it was somewhat tasty in flavor, but the chicken was nasty, I picked around it. It wasn't foul smelling or anything, it was just strange in texture. It's very dark in there and I didn't love the trolley with a huge dishpan filled with dirty lunch plates and such rolled up next to the beverage station. So yeah, I probably wont' be dining at Asia Wok again. If you like Manchu Wok, you might like this place. Panda Express is brilliant compared to this place. read more

Great food at a great price. Thomas is super nice and accommodating. They can re-work any order to your specific needs and/or tastes. When you go a couple of times, Thomas is pretty good about learning your name and order (if you happen to order the same thing over and over). I'm not sure what the people above are used to or if they are even speaking of the correct restaurant. I have NEVER ever had anything but DELICIOUS dishes at Asia Wok. The string bean chicken is great with chunks of stir fried white meat chicken. The beef and broccoli is excellent with a light flavorful sauce. The spring rolls are freshly made and yummy. The fried rice is delicious...its by far one of the best "dive" oriental food restaurants I have ever eaten. It totally beats the run of the mill all you can eat buffet and is a close second to our "oh so high class" PF Chang's. I totally recommend it. The "trolley" of dirty lunch plates doesn't bother me...its a restaurant...in the bottom of the B of A tower...that caters its time to business/work day lunches. If you are looking for fine dining experience simply go somewhere else. read more

Love this place, the best stuff is not on the wall menu talk to the owner and he will let you make up your own meal basically. The chef actually lived in China for a number of years and is an, interesting fellow with a real love of the Chinese style of cooking. He does have some hispanic workers cooking but they are all able to do the recipes justice. The owner rips out interesting magazine articles and tapes them up on the glass so you have something to read while in line, we used to go there during off peak hours and the chef would sit down with us and talk traditional asian cuisine. Me and a friend would eat there at least once a week. The best is a nice spring day sitting at the outside patio and talking with the owner/chef about what makes good . If you are looking for your typical mcrestruant like a BJ's or whatnot I wouldn't bother but if you want to push your pallete and don't mind interacting with other human beings it's a great place to eat. read more
