Wow what a find! I visited recently while in Dallas and can't recommend the food here enough. The star of the show during the visit was the beef in tea sauce--salty, sweet, and a little bit of spice. I can only describe as a warm, comforting hug. SO, SO GOOD. The customer service was great. Our waitress was clearly busy managing all the calls for takeout orders as well as in-person ones, but still did so with kindness and grace. She explained to us that the indoor space is a bit crowded with boxes and isn't fully functional since some pandemic setbacks. Personally, I don't think it took away from the experience, as anyone that knows about good food knows that it's not limited to fancy buildings. If you're a bit claustrophobic though, I'd recommend a to-go order. One other thing I'd like to give a shoutout to this place for is that they give back to the community. I watched as numerous unhoused individuals came by and were provided food by the restaurant without question. It's a blessing to see a place treat others going through a rough time with dignity and respect.

Great flavor, it's pretty much all chicken with little breading. Comes with an eggroll for the lunch but they're my favorite so I always get two extra. 12$ for all of this. So wonderful prices! I'm a regular here since it's near my work

Great lunch prices. They seem to have a lot of takeout orders, including mine, and the costs were affordable. The food was great! The parking lot is tight so watch out for other drivers.

Great location off Lemmon avenue. The service is always fast and friendly and they have great lunch specials from 11-230 everyday. The food is always fresh and hot and it's a good amount for $8.50. I would recommend this location

I've picked up to go orders from this spot a few times and I'm pleasantly impressed with the food. I've ordered online seamlessly and picked up my order promptly. They do charge a fee for ordering online that's applied when you pick up which, I believe, could be removed. *This spot is to go only, no inside dining* My go to order is the combo fried rice, side of sweet and sour sauce, and hot and sour soup. I've also ordered chicken and broccoli (brown sauce). The portion sizes are huge, food is hot, and cooked to order. I'll definitely return to try out other items.

This location is to-go only these days. I first tried this place at the height of the pandemic, but since then, it's been my go to Chinese take out place!! Service is Uber fast. Usually I just place an order thru the phone, and within 8 minutes, food is ready. I won't claim they have the best Chinese food in town, but considering the price, the freshness and quantity, this place is really hard to beat. I also don't feel bad after eating it unlike some other places that may use too much MSG (not that MSG is bad here, but I feel bad if eating too much of it). If you're feeling like a Chinese take out night, definitely give this place a try! I usually go with one of their light dinners, which is honestly still a bunch of food and comes with a spring roll too! Edit: added menu (light dinner menu is the L items)

This is a decent, family owned American-style Chinese takeout spot. Open 7 days a week with daily lunch specials each day from 11a - 2:30p. Lunches come with fried rice and an egg roll (one of the best I have found in Dallas). This little place is takeout only...I didn't live in Dallas before the pandemic, but my guess is that they switched to takeout then and the business model worked. The food: beef was tough and while the chicken pieces were HUGE, most had gristle. The rice was very dry and very plain. I would ask for steamed instead. Service is efficient, which is really all you need. read more

If you are on the hunt for a comfort spot to get your Asian takeout fix you have to try out Szechuan! This has quickly become my boyfriend and I's go to spot for Chinese takeout! for many reasons! The food for starters! I have become attached to my original order of steak, bamboo shoots, and mushrooms in sauce and OMG! It's definitely a hearty comfort meal because one thing about this place, they do not hold back when it comes to portion size! I also really love their wonton soup! It's honestly my favorite thing on the menu, not just because of the amazing taste, but because of the portion size! I'm telling you, they do not hold back at all! The other thing that really sells this place has got to be the price point! now a day's it's so hard to find reasonably priced take out! I typically never pay more than 13$ for my steak and veggies and no more than 5$ for my wonton soup! and with the portions being so generous, i typically have leftovers for lunch the next day! We also always pick up and the employees are super nice and always very prompt with our orders! We will have to see if dine in is ever an option! Because one this is forsure, it it's amazing from my couch, I can imagine how great it is fresh out the kitchen! read more

The lady was very helpful ordering delivery... but once we got $90 of food it just was not it... not a lot of flavor literally everything tasted the same. She was super nice and helpful on trying new things. It was literally just the food, everything came correct no issue what so ever, the flavor just wasn't there. read more

Old school Chinese American food you would've done take out from the early 2000's with pretty big portions still. They've 2 numbers for you to call for takeout or delivery. It can get pretty busy so make sure to call in ahead of time before you get there or you might be waiting an extra 15 minutes so. read more

I stopped by Szechuan Chinese restaurant and was immediately taken back. The space was extremely dirty and looked more like a warehouse than a restaurant. The tables and chairs were dusty and there didn't appear to be a proper area for dine in at all. I decided to give it a chance and ordered food anyway. When I received my order, the food was already spilled inside the bag. I live literally around the corner and never tipped the bag, so it clearly spilled before I received it. My egg wonton soup was placed in what looked like a regular soda cup, which was surprising and unprofessional. As for the food itself, the lo mein was not good and the chicken and shrimp. Fried rice had no flavor. The chicken pieces were oddly shaped and very large, which was offputting. Overall, I'm very disappointed. This was a complete waste of money and food as I won't be finishing it. Unfortunately this experience was a fail for Me. I wouldn't recommend it. read more

Too inconsistent the four or 5 times I have ordered. Only once was the food delicious. The other times the beef has been cooked to death or reheated and very very dry. I ordered over 80$ of take out and gave it to my dogs it was so dry. Take out is too expensive to have your money wasted like that. Never again!!' read more

Food was meh. Absolutely tasteless sauce for shrimp in lobster sauce. Shrimp were cooked perfect and had good flavor. No pineapple in the sweet and sour pork, so the sweet is dark red sauce. Beef egg rolls and spring rolls were pretty good. The take out containers were a joke. Styrofoam for all but shrimp sauce. Soup in a 10oz coffee cup with flimsy plastic lid. I guess maybe ok for college kids but seems cheap. Whole meal seemed to made as cheap as possible. No options to buy a small, so you have to pay $13-14 dollars for each entree. I found nothing about the meal that I would order from there again. read more

The first time I tried this restaurant I was very disappointed. The name is misleading as this is not at all authentic Sichuanese food. Do not come here expecting it. They removed most seating since the pandemic, set up for take out. That being said, they operate as your normal American take-out Chinese food. As it comes to take-out Chinese, I'd say they're average. They have decent fried rices, soups, and the expected variation of meat dishes. I've tried a lot of them and there is nothing special but they hit the spot when you get a craving. The prices are okay for the area. They're not cheap but you do get a fair bit of food. read more

I had high hopes. But I was let down. We ordered orange chicken, beef lo mein, crab rangoons and egg rolls. The only decent things were the egg rolls and crab rangoons. The pieces of chicken in my orange chicken were ginormous and it honestly grossed me out so much that I couldn't eat it. It didn't look real whatsoever. The beef lo mein had no flavor and the noodles didn't look like typical Asian noodles. I'm sorry to leave a bad review but honestly it was not good! read more

*Delivery experience* I've ordered from Szechuan for delivery twice now and both experiences have been wonderful. My first order was a chicken lo mein noodles special and today's order was the sweet & sour chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. Both meals were delivered on time, still hot, with all of my requests met. I've loved sweet and sour chicken since I was a kid and this brought back nostalgic memories of our neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Richardson. Very grateful for delicious Chinese delivery when the weather isn't pleasant enough for an adventurous drive for lunch. read more

Surprisingly my order of pepper steak was served pretty quickly, it wasn't until I got home that I realized why. If the bell peppers touched heat it was only for a few seconds because they were basically raw. The dish was bland there was no pepper flavor at all. I should've gone with my first thought which was the beef broccoli read more

Came here for egg drop soup because my lady wasn't feeling well. I tried to order online, but their page was down. Tried to call, but it went straight to voice-mail. I arrive to place my order in person only to be told they're out of egg drop soup. WTF?!? How can you be out of broth, soy sauce, scallions, and eggs?!? Those literally are the most basic ingredients for any Chinese restaurant. I drove almost 30 mins for absolutely nothing. I've been dining at this restaurant for the last two years, I guess it's time to look for a new Chinese spot. Ugh read more

I haven't tried many items from this restaurant but it's my favorite wonton soup in town. They are currently takeout only but the staff is super nice and they make pickup easy. For some reason their online ordering doesn't list all of the items they have so I think it's easier to call orders in vs ordering online. read more

When I spoke to George, the owner, he said "so sorry" and swept it off. I honestly don't expect to pay these prices for such horrendous service and low quality food. We had the Vegetable Lo Mein, Beef with Tea Sauce, and Orange Chicken were really good and it has authentic flavors. The spices were good.
