If I could give this place a 0 I would. I'd like to share an experience I had with this restaurant. I ordered food for pickup at 430 pm and was told it would be 30-45 minutes. My husband walked in at 5:15 pm and was told it would be at least another half hour with reason being that another order had come in. We were never informed about this even though they had our number to show respect/courtesy for our business. At this point as we had to get home my husband asked if this could be delivered to which we were informed this wasn't possible and we would have to redo the order online which would take at least another 45-60 minutes to arrive. We immediately cancelled this order. This place has no respect for its customers and makes me wonder how many other patrons have been dealing with this. There was never any apologies made nor consolation for delaying our order. Thankfully there are plenty of other sushi places around here so we will give our business elsewhere. Great prices. Wonderful, flavorful food. I always get the Tom Kha, it's the best I've ever had. Their spice levels are off, even the spiciest level I can hardly taste, but I just ask for the "spice rack" and they give you a tray of chili sambal and ground red pepper which really makes it. Sugar. Everything tastes like sugar. Vegetable soup, is sweet soup with mushy carrots. Pad Thai noodles, had maybe 3-4 noodles and just a thick sugar sauce with vegetables, paid extra for chicken just to have maybe 3-4 little pieces. Salad, warm salad mind you, and a think peanut dressing and was just sugar. This whole place is so bizarre. The name says Healthy asian food, but everything is also drenched in sugar. Do not recommend if your from California or anywhere that has good food. I know it sucks out here with slim options but yuck. Only good thing from the 2 times we've been here was crab fried rice, but guess what? Sugar. Even the fried rice was sweet. So as we're driving home I feel like I have to vomit from eating sugar for lunch. Miserable. Like I can feel my body hating this and it's trying to process it. Pretty good place here for Thai. Great atmosphere, service was slightly off due to less attention given and not asking about our utensils needs. Maybe 5 small kids (eating with another family) made server think we'd be stingy with tip. While less than was the hype had been about the taste of the food, it was still good and deserving of another chance. One of the dishes had too much of a bunt taste even though it didn't look burnt. Found this place because of the close proximity to the mall. We ordered some Egg Rolls (Veggie - Spring Rolls) and I got a Yakisoba with Beef. Super good. Also had the Evergreen roll (asparagus, cucumber, avocado). Pretty good. But I have only had this roll elsewhere with fried asparagus. Still good though. My husband had this sweet chicken, broccoli, cashews, coconut milk dish. Neither of us remember the name of it. Good. But too sweet for him (or the friend we were with - who ordered the same dish) to finish it. All in all, service was great and the food was what was advertised. Four stars for the small Egg Rolls (which only appeared to have lettuce in them) and the super sweet can't-put-my-finger-on-what-that-taste-reminds-me-of-chicken. read more

This seems to be a popular place in this area and I don't know why when there are so many better options. I think they try and advertise themselves as the "healthy" option but it's bland and the dishes don't taste right. My boyfriend got the orange chicken and the sauce it came in tasted like tomato paste with some orange slices in it. I got the pad Thai and it was lackluster and the noodles were mushy and over cooked. Service wasn't the greatest. There was one really good server doing all of the work, one girl taking phone orders and hosting and another guy who didn't seem to be useful at all - he walked by our table like 3-4 while we needed refills and didn't even look our way. I hate giving a bad review but I have to be honest about our experience here. We ordered the cashew chicken stir fry and the Mongolian beef. They are $15 plates each and you have to spend another dollar per dish for the rice which is not included. So $16 plates each is pretty high and we didn't think it was worth it in the end. Unfortunately the beef was pounded out, chewy and dry. It didn't seem like much meat and was not pleasant to eat. The sauce on the cashew chicken was pretty flavorless and disappointing. The positive is that they did use a lot of fresh vegetables which we really appreciated. The dishes could have been really good if the cashew chicken had a better sauce and if the beef was better quality or prepared differently on the Mongolian dish. Bummer read more

I did a Togo order. I loved the convenience of ordering online. Their online service was very easy to use and straightforward. They have a wide variety of options. I ordered the Thai tea with coconut milk which was amazing and the tofu pad Thai. My boyfriend ordered the honey glazed chicken stir fry. The pad Thai was very good but I didn't realize the tofu would be deep fried which I don't like. The flavor was very good though. The nuts in the honey glazed chicken seemed kind of odd and didn't go together I think and it was more of honey glazed soup then a stir fry. The sauce was definitely my favorite part of it. Once I ordered, and had my husband to pick it up, the order didn't go through and they gave us the excuses of the front people just switched shift, balabalabala... And today, we ordered to go again. I ordered pad see ew and pad this. Both of them were burned and when I eat them, all I taste is burn..... you can see from the photos. We couldn't finish them because the burn smell was too strong. This place is awesome. The Mongolian beef is incredible. It had a slight crunch to it making it different from any other I have ever had. My only complaint would be the onions that come in the dish, sometimes they are cooked and sometimes they are raw. On a Wednessday evening, I pre-ordered take out for Pineapple Fried Rice (noted as best seller) and spring rolls. Very disappointing. The rice was overcooked and without the texture of being freshly stir-fried but rather re-heated. The prawns (there were 3) were undercooked and tasteless. The thinly sliced chicken was bland, tough and dry. The pineapple chunks added nothing to enhance the dish as well as the mushy and disfigured tomatoes both of which most likely from a can. The varied veggies were also very tired and tasteless. The curry was not evenly distributed which made me further believe that the dish was just preassembled and heated up in a microwave. The egg rolls were doughy and nondescript. I don't normally write public comments but this dish seemed more like an affront to my senses rather than trying to exceed culinary expectations. read more

Tracy and I arrived at Asian 1 somewhat dubious of its 3 star rating, but since neither of us are from the area, we deferred to our friend Jim (a new-ish resident). Fortunately, the company more than made up for the mediocrity of the meal, and we were in a quiet corner where we can be obnoxious with very minimal disturbance to the other patrons. I often come here for lunch and it's great. But this visit was not the greatest. Guest and I ordered Thai ice tea. The server came and refilled our drinks, which was great but he used the same glasses. He may have known who's was who's but we as customers had no idea if the other glass was either of ours. Giving us a new glass would have been great. Docked you a star for that. We also went there on a weekend and did not know they didn't serve the lunch special during weekends (found that out at the end...). The waitress asked us if we wanted rice and salad and we said sure. Little to be known it was $1-$2 extra and she didn't tell us that it was. Sneaky. Surprised us when we saw our bill. I mean, a dollar or two is no big deal but it would have been nice to be told that it's extra cost rather than asking us if we wanted it like it was included with the meal.
