Although our waitress greeted us pleasantly enough, her service stopped there. She plopped our food down and we never saw her again until we waited for what seemed like forever for our check. The food was just OK for the price. I had the sweet and sour chicken. It was simply deep fried chicken with a side of sweet and sour sauce and scoop of white rice. No vegetables. We were very pleasantly surprised with this restaurant. There was only one waitress and she was absolutely busting her you know what. They were busy, they had at least seven or so tables and she was the only waitress. The food came out really fast which was impressive. We ordered the Kung pao chicken and the general Tso's chicken, both were so tasty and flavorful. The food is extremely good and it's high-quality. The fried rice is very traditional Asian fried rice, it has all the right flavors and it's not too salty. Loved this food and I would definitely go back if we lived in Vermont. They were also playing extremely peaceful music throughout the meal and and bathrooms were extremely clean, nice ambiance. Something about this place doesn't add up. The space is huge, like wedding convention huge, yet, it's almost always empty. If you order anything that isn't strictly Chinese-American it's really bad. Do not order any Thai or Japanese options. This is clearly trying to be a fusion restaurant but they can't even make a solid Pad Thai. If you want basic Chinese American food it's okay. I get on Apple Maps and sure enough, I'm 3.8 miles drive time away so they're just refusing to honor their own delivery zone. Went for dinner with my boyfriend after a long day of work. Ordered our drinks and sat talking for a bit. Noticed the table next to us has received third drinks and food and we still haven't gotten our drinks. Had to ask for them when the waiter came to take our food order. He asked what we wanted! Forgot he had even take. Our drinks orders. Our food took forever to come as well. Tasted great when it did finally come. However we had to ask for chopsticks! Then received take out chopsticks rather than the nice restaurant ones! Then we had to ask for our check two different times!!! I even asked the people if they have had the same service experience. My husband and I stopped there for a quick lunch. We regret it. I got the moo goo gai pan and he got 3 rolls of sushi. My dish was just awful. I was expecting lots of vegetables, but there were very few. I was hoping for yummy chicken but it was gross, bad quality, and listless. The brown rice also tasted really funny to me. The whole dish tasted as though it had been sitting out for a long time before they heated it up for my consumption. My husband's sushi was nothing to write home about either. He even commented that grocery store sushi was better...and he does not care for grocery prepared sushi. I should have known better when on a Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 the place was empty save a table of 3 women. Just had dinner there this evening. Easy to get a table here, looking for some more veggies in my meal and a little spice so we stopped here. We shared some scallion pancakes, scallion pancakes are a nice treat. It was a serious treat, this dish had big pieces of celery, peanuts on top, green peppers, water chestnuts, zucchini (I think it was zucchini), a carrot or two for color. It was really an amazing dish, more celery and water chestnuts than typically found with chicken, This was a very good surprise, I'll certainly order next time.....great heat, made the mistake of eat the peppers...they were much spicier than normal, the dish itself had great flavor and good heat. Serious treat. My companion had chicken and broccoli, which was pretty good, brown sauce, mild flavor. Kung Pao Beef....really good! HAIR TODAY HAIR TODAY Ordering spring rolls, fried dumplings and Kung Pao as a to-go order turned out to be a big disappointment. Walking to the bar where the dining room host was coming out of the kitchen I looked but didn't see. Instead of a cook clad in culinary whites and head cover a waitress, as she was dressed in black trousers, white fitted shirt and a vest, was busy cooking at the wok. I thought that could be my dinner as the 2 or 3 tables of dinners present were all already eating. After paying, arriving home, opening the boxes of food and plating it for myself I dug in. The dumpling were fine, the spring rolls were soggy from condensation in the small plastic to-go tray. That's understandable. However on the 3rd forkful of the Kung Pao chicken I detected something foreign in the food. It took three long tugs to fully dislodge the foreign object. It was a long piece of dark hair with a highlight running the middle 2/3 of the strand. It matched perfectly the waitress's hair that I had observed cooking my dinner just minutes ago. I brought the balance of the meal back to the restaurant and offered up the preserved hair as evidence of my dissatisfaction with the meal. The dining room nonchalantly offered a refund on just the Kung Pao. And the moral to this review you might ask? If you like hair in your food, then this is the place for you. read more

The General Tso's is a little disappointing because the sauce was too sweet and the chicken was over-breaded a little bit. As for the sushi, we only tried the basics and so far it is mediocre. Fantastic Sushi and I've been all over New England, as far as the rest of their food goes (Cantonese/ American Chinese) it's very sub-par. Everything is covered in sauce over salted, cheap meat just poor quality stuff that I would not expect from what I thought to be such a nice place. I will continue to come back again and again for the sushi. Check your order if you're picking up and even if you're sitting in! They've messed up something in my orders 3/4 times whether it be the kind of rice, a certain type of roll or leaving it out completely. So far the best place in the area! The drinks are good but a bit pricey! read more
