    Khao Soi Noodle
    Tara K.

Small and quaint but staff is so nice and so helpful. Opted to take a chance to snag a table & we are thankful we did. Food was incredible. Our server was an older gentleman and super nice! You could tell he works really hard to make sure everyone's happy! Lots of vegan choices, just ask! We wanted the avocado fresh rolls but sadly they were sold out, thankfully they had spring rolls which were very good! Next dish was the Rama Dish, requested no fish oil (not sure it comes with it or not but had to be safe - allergy) with tofu. Came with Jasmine Rice and was extremely good! The sauce was incredible. Everything cooked perfect. My mom got the Khao Soi Noodle with chicken and said it was the most incredible Thai dish she's ever had. Between the flavors and the texture, everything was cooked perfectly. We are just visiting but highly recommend checking out this place whether eating in or getting take out. Well worth it. And price very fairly.

Despite what seems to be only two people manning this place, they are doing a pretty good job maintaining food prep and taste consistency in the kitchen. When we arrived at dinner time a day after Christmas, the line of people waiting for take out were long and so was dine in. Luckily we can still get a table but we had to wait a while before we got our food out but the taste did not disappoint. They were really really busy with only 2 people working so you need to be patient if you decide to dine here. Plenty of parking spaces in front and at the back of the restaurant.

The crab rangoon and tom kha is amazing!

Wow! What a great find in Vermont! Nice little quaint place and the service was great. Family owned restaurant, the mom (Oi) was very nice and the food was ahhhhhhhhhhhhhmazing!!!! Kua Kai, pad-see ew, their fried rice was off the chains!

Stopped in while camping at nearby state park. Cute little place with friendly staff and wonderfully tasty food. I had the cashew nut with fried tofu. Great flavor, colorful with tons of veggies. The good sized portions that made great leftovers warmed up on a camp fire. Glad we found this place, we order from here again when we come back in the fall.

Came to Vermont for a ski trip and this was right across from our hotel. Ordered take out and got the Yellow Curry with Tofu Mild and white rice. Veggie Spring Rolls & the Chicken Katsu. Let me tell you, some of the best Thai food I've had in a while! Very authentic, and I love how full of spice their flavors are. The katsu was delicious as was the curry. Came back 2 days later to bring food home for my family. Got the crab Rangoon, curry again, pad Thai with shrimp mild, basil duck mild, and the snapper fish. Oh my goodness, every meal here is a hit! I wish Thai Smile was close to me. Flavorful and authentic!

This is a small restaurant with limited seating and their food is worth it. I love their crab rangoon!! The vegetable egg rolls were tasty and the fried rice was perfectly cooked. The pineapple curry was scrumptious. I've eaten here several times and will be back for more.

This is a small restaurant and they do a great carry out business so the locals must know to take it home. We ended up in a small table by the door on a chilly night which was uncomfortable. They seemed understaffed though very efficient. The food was incredible and didn't take very long. I had the Red Curry with Shrimp and my husband had the Mix Vegetables Stir Fry. Both were delicious and the portions were large. I would definitely go back, but probably do carry out.

Crispy Moon. Sorry, the missing pieces are in my belly. This appetizer was absolutely delicious!

I had been to this place a long long time ago and couldn't find it anymore. This time, i found it by sheer luck! Food was still amazing just like i remembered! If you're driving on boring I-89, make sure you take exit 10 / Route 100 to get delicious food. It's just about 1/2 mile after you get off from the highway. Love love love this place. Will definitely go back!

This is a Thai food spot but almost like your mother is behind the kitchen! Everything is warm and savory~ price was reasonable! For all 3 items, is was around 30-40, and portions were good! Didn't leave over full, just super content and happy. Very home-y vibes. Meals arrived quick and server gave us the rundown of how it's managed, pay grist and then wait for your order. Seats inside and out but seems like many come and pick-up to-go~ without even explaining, we were given extra plates for sharing. The cook came out to clean up, and she was so sweet and probably the owner or the main chief because she smiled when I was raving over the amazing food to my partner. It's located on downtown main street area of Montpelier so we parked on side of street and walked over. Its a very small restaurant has fee seatings inside and 2-3 seats outside. You place an order at the counter and they will bring it over. Seems to be a popular place for locals to do take out. They have weekly changing menu. When we went they had 3 dishes and we decided to get all 3 to share. Pak kapow was a ground pork with dark soy sauce, basil and aromatics. Very flavorful and delicious with a kick of spice. Moo pad phrik gaeng tua was coconut base curry dish with lots of vegetables, gingers and peppers. Packs a punch of flavor and spices with creaminess of coconut milk pairs perfectly with rice. Tom kai ban was a chicken soup with lemongrass, garlic, scallion, tamarind and dried chilis. Thai version of chicken noodle soup. Comfort food but still have that savory flavor and lots of spices and aromatics. Would be great for when you are sick or getting a hangover. Service was good and staff were nice. Food came out pretty quickly as well so we only had to wait about 5 minutes or so. Price was very reasonable as well. Overall this place is a true hidden gem in Vermont. All the food has so much flavors. I can see why locals come here all the time. A must stop for Thai food if you are in the area.

The pho was just okay, and the noodles especially stood out in a bad way.. they tasted dried out and felt noticeably lower quality than what we're used to. The egg rolls were probably the best thing we ordered. My date especially liked them because of the cream cheese filling. The avocado shake was decent too, but nothing that would bring us back. The biggest issue was the service. It was very inattentive and unfriendly, and we didn't feel particularly welcomed throughout the meal. Combined with food that was pretty mediocre, it made the whole experience disappointing. Maybe we're spoiled by the Vietnamese food around Boston, but based on our visit, I'd keep looking.
