I have lived in this town for 3 years and I visited for 2 years before that. And I have been to this buffet. PROS: * Very friendly, hard-working staff. We appreciated having Ann wait on us. * Large selection of steamer table food. * Sushi - small selection * Mongolian BBQ - decent selection of vegetables, but aside from shrimp meats were nothing special. * Ann was constantly cleaning tables and using a manual carpet vac (no noise really) when she was not refilling drinks and bringing plates to the table. I had no issue leaving her a 35% tip - cash on the table. * Price was not bad - $8.99 per plus one pop. But I wouldn't pay more. * I didn't need the restroom, so no comment there. (My wife carries a bottle of hand sanitizer. CONS: * Most of the chicken dishes on the steamer table were very bland in taste. * Many of the meats were tough. * There were 4 selections of Sushi and all were very dry in texture and taste. * As we were paying, I discovered that we could have ordered off of the menu rather than have the buffet. I guess they assume that given the price, no one orders off of the menu. I would, even with the higher-priced dishes. It would have been nice to be asked. * Pepsi products - I prefer Coke, but that is only my preference. May not be applicable to you. SUMMARY: I will go back to try ordering from the menu, but I probably will not try the buffet again. For me, it wasn't worth even the $8.99 price. read more

Dawg where the hell do I even begin. Me and the homies wanted some Lo-Mein, we are loyal to China Buffet but said let's switch it up homeboy. Bro that was a huge mistake. We got in that john and found a booth, there was a spoon at my feet and like a half order of Lo-Mein bro. The staff was nice and cleaned the booth. We then got our water and went to get some food. Initially the first round wasn't bad, just some chicken n shi. Then we made the dumb ahh decision to try the "exotic" food. Gang that egg drop soup was vile, shi had the consistency of mucus, none of my shootas were eating that. We tried the crab, shi was like a grease sponge. THEN WE HAD THE MUSCLES BRO, DON'T TRY THEM MUFUCKS, ONE OF THE WORST THINGS I'VE ATE. We realized this place was a joke and started clowning tf out of it. Gave this place a try while in town. I did get a few things that were not up to temp, but most were. Wish I would have had the mushrooms on my first plate, they were so good. The Asian buffet is exactly what you expect from a buffet. There was a wide variety of food. I tried multiple different flavors of chicken all were flavorful despite possibility sitting there for a bit. It was quality buffet food and was pretty cheap for being all you can eat. We've been coming here for about a year now, and the service is always great. The food selection is really good for a buffet, usually the food is piping hot and tastes fresh. I would say on a rare occasion you may get something that tastes like it has been sitting for too long. There's a good selection of fried food, a small salad/dessert bar, sushi, and hibachi grill. This is a new Chinese Buffet in Adrian but, in reality, it just represents some shuffling. The Chinese Buffet that was in this spot closed. When that happened, the other buffet also closed and moved to the spot vacated by the first buffet mentioned, but with a new name. This particular facility has the advantage of being rather spacious. The number of choices on the buffet are relatively numerous. The quality is OK. The seafood delight and the chicken and broccoli are two of my favorites. I also like their Sushi choices on the side buffet. In addition, they have a Mongolian grill for those who prefer and they have an ice cream machine for dessert. The prices are not bad making the value acceptable. With tea to drink, our bill on our last visit was $21.14 with tax included for two. We will continue to visit this place on occasion when we are in the mood for Chinese as it is one of only two decent choices for this style of food in town. read more

Well, I was very disappointed in their food. I ordered through door dash. the chicken Kung pao. It looked very appetizing until I started eating. I chicken tasted as if it was just barely done, so it had the squishy feel to it and every other bite was a piece of hard grissely nastiness. I couldn't eat it. This is one of the best places to eat in Adrian period from a variety of different options in the town. It is the best I've ever had period and i have moved from town to town the same cooks have been working to give great food and service they are in the middle of a new opening this but it will get better over time and that's for sure probably the best Adrian has to offer. read more

Upon walking in to buffet, you are hurriedly taken to a table. I declined table after employee left me standing by her choice of seating. No positive greeting and I did not feel welcomed. First round at buffet; Most of the food tasted old and barely warm, I only ate about 1/4 of plate. When I received my drink of soda fountain sprite it tasted disgusting. I asked for a can of pop but was told it would be extra. 2nd time up I went to the side where you pick the stir fry. I felt awkward standing up at the buffet waiting for an employee to make my dish. Once complete I returned to my seat. Food was extremely hot and of average flavor. I was given my bill from the person running around cleaning and preparing the food. When paying, the lady at the cash register did not mention anything to me, how was the food etc. after leaving, within 10 minutes I had to make an emergency pit stop ay Walmart to use restroom. Was here with 3 of my friends. Worst experience of my life. I only put 1 star because I couldn't put half a star. None of us could even eat any of our food. The food was looking back at me. The shrimp was staring back at me like it wanted to murder me. We then were forced to eat desert (aggressively) and the chocolate pudding looked like one of the workers shitted on the plate and threw sugar in it.
