Went here Last year and the food was nothing to write home about but it was ok! Thought of going to the Fortune Palace but the reviews are getting worse every day. So we went back here. Today it was terrible, everything except the fish was cold. The salmon was over cooked and the wings were cooked to death and cold. I told the manager that everything was cold and he said, see that steam rolling out it is hot , it's because they are all full. Why does this have place have such low ratings? I did avoid it due to the ratings but decided to try it. I discovered this place 3 weeks ago. I go once a week now. I'm 1/2 Asian and just love their grill. U pick your vegis and meat and they cook it fresh in front of you. A Mongolian barbecue. I love it. And their fish isn't always salmon at dinner thank god. It's just okay if on the west side of town. Food is really bland, the crab legs (when they have them) are always over cooked, shells are so soft they become like rubber to crack open! They had only a very limited selection of sushi and I asked the chef if he can make something with salmon or tuna and was told they only have what is out. Only California rolls or crab rolls. I ate a BUG inside their clams. BAD Chinese food restaurant. Not even close. The worst experience ever. I didn't know what I was chewing until I spit the bugs on the table because it was so hard to chew. I felt disgusted and incredible when I found it was a bug. Then I called their waitress immediately. The waitress said, "Oh my god, I am sorry." Later, the manager came over. The first response I got is, "This is not our business." "It is normal because the bug was living with the clams," "The chief didn't clean it well." In other words, they are NOT responsible because the chief didn't clean the bug well. And they called the bug should be there officially! They are totally NOT logically self-consistent. The other waitress acted like I was lying and like, "just shut up and eat your food, we will not apologize, and we are not responsible for this whole thing!" And both the bug and their service are disgusting! I swear to god I used direct quotation! I ate a bug, chewing in my mouth, in their food. All I get from them is they are not responsible! I have been here every Saturday since last month. And one time, their hibachi chef cooked me an overly salty Lo Mein, which I cannot eat at all. I had to put the Lo Mein into the wonton soup to get it light. However, I did not complain about anything because maybe he is not on purpose or too busy. But this time, I was so disgusted by their service and food! I still left $2 for the waitress because she didn't do anything wrong. We used to really love this place, and we still love it for the excellent sushi chef and waitstaff. There are many excellent vegetarian options, which is a must for our family. The food is hot, plentiful and quite tasty, especially the Mongolian BBQ where you get to pick what you want the chef to cook for you, the vegetables they have from which to choose are mushrooms, onions, zucchini, green peppers, broccoli and carrots. I do have a few IMPORTANT suggestions I wish the owners/management would consider. 1) Please label dishes appropriately and put a CAPITAL V on each item that is vegetarian (could include dairy and/or eggs) and perhaps a V+ for vegan (completely animal priduct-free). 2) Separate the vegetables in the Mongolian BBQ area far away from the meat choices!!! Perhaps put all vegetables on the far right (chef's point of view), then the eggs, rice and noodles, and THEN the meat/seafood options. Seveeal times I have chosen my veggies and the chef cooks them to perfection. Then I get a bite with beef or chicken in it from customers spilling their meat into the vegetable choices. This is horrific for a vegetarian or vegan and makes a lasting NEGATIVE impression where most vegetarians would not return. 3) STOP USING MONOSODIUM GLUTAMATE (MSG). This is a deadly food additive and MANY prospective customers will not eat at your restaurant because MSG is used A LOT in your food. This is the main reason we don't eat here as much as we used to. Overall the place appears fairly clean. However, I have a few issues: 1. Children as young as 3 are charged 6.95. While an adult is charged a little over 10.00. 2. Food really is not that good. Best idea is to go across the street to Walmart. Buy a General Tso's kit in the freezer section and make it at home. Egg Rolls and dumplings were bland. You can probably get better in the freezer section across the street as well. 3. They do not provide enough crab to warrant the price. Additionally the crabs are dropped into a hotel pan filled with water that can also hold the tongs. Think about eating that crab after the general public drops the tongs into the water after they have put crab on their plates with unwashed hands. 4. Watched "Sushi Chef" pull out pre cut Maki Rolls and squirt spicy mayo on it. Who knows how old these rolls were. They were not rolled on the spot. I am not worried about the fish being "fresh" because Sushi grade fish is frozen anyway. I won't go back again. Reality is this place is too expensive for the poor quality you get. read more

A little bland, but compared to the kings chef it was incredible. Walked out of the former (horrible) and found this new place up the road! Crab legs on this Sunday. Down side is some stuff was not seasoned well and they only filled crab legs once the whole time we were there (and then they were cold). But it was the right place at the right time. read more
