I asked for a diet pepsi. I got regular pepsi. I am diabetic and this caused a dangerous spike in my blood sugar. Won't go again.

This place will do well as it is the only Chinese buffet restaurant on this side of town. The place is nicely decorated and obviously clean being still very new. Huge in size with two dining areas on either side of the central buffet stations with plenty of seating. Typical Mongolian grill and sushi stations are in the back area and so is the customary soft serve machine. As far as the food, there were some dishes that stood out. The fried chicken wings, one of my favorite Chinese buffet fare, were exceptional delicious. They have Chinese BBQ pork ribs cut into bite smaller size pieces. Thank you!! Another dish that caught my eye was the cucumber wrapped sushi roll. I've never seen that anywhere else! Great for low carb days. Yeah, I go to Chinese buffets on low carb diet days because peer pressure. They had a nice array of desserts. One that they call "egg tart" was quite delicious. I wished I had room for two. It had a nice crispy outer shell and the "cake" was not too sweet. I say cake because it was definitely not a custard filling as I am used to with egg tarts. I did not try the soft serve to rate it because again, no room lol. I did notice that a lot of people stopped by to get some. I usually think of it as icy milk haha. Overall it was a good meal. The items were constantly refilled. It felt like the owners put a lot of thought and effort into making it a nice dining experience. The hostess and waitstaff were all friendly and welcoming. Was in the neighborhood running errands and saw the grand opening sign. Gave them a chance and let me tell you was not disappointed. From the hostess, servers and kitchen staff they were all very attentive and friendly (big plus) Price is decent $8.59 per adult on a Saturday, good variety, cleanliness+++. Our 1st and last dinner: Very much overcooked, and mostly over-salted - yuck! What a waste of fresh ingredients! The only good points are the low price, and endless clams, crawfish, and cold shrimp. Was pleasantly surprised upon entry. Well lit, very clean, with beautiful fixtures. Staff was prompt, friendly, and checked on us often. The food. Woe. Easier to list what they don't have! Seriously, they have a hibachi table and a boat load of sushi. These offerings are at the very back. The choices on the buffet are Many. All the standards, low mein, sweet and sour chicken, etc. Extras I noted were 3 different kinds of shrimp, fried chicken, and french fries. They offer a huge salad bar with many fruit choices. The dessert table is so varied, you will want to save room! As far as quantity- boy they have that in spades! If you can imagine it might be on an Asian buffet, it IS there! Stand outs for me were the dumplings, crab ragoons, and the egg drop soup. My dining companion enjoyed everything she tried. I wish the tables had kept the food warmer. The food was decent, but they sat us in a section that apparently closed 45 minutes before the restaurant did. Our waitress forced us to pay our bill before we were ready and then waited right by us until we signed our bill. I have never felt so rushed out of a place. Not to mention they were mopping the section and my boyfriend almost slipped without any wet signage. Will not go back strictly because of the rude waitress. read more

Me and my family went to this place on Saturday. We went around 7 pm and it was very busy. The rates for the weekend were higher than usual. This place is huge and have buffet counter in the center. There are around 50+ variety of Asian food along with a live grill. We loved the food as there were many options. It is clean, well arranged and busy restaurant. Great to have Sushi and Sea Food with live grill. Their service is welcoming. Worth to visit once or twice to try all their varieties. read more

This is absolutely a great buffet. It has 5 buffet table include, cold dish, desert, main dish, meat and viggie, deep fried food, plus they had habachi, sushi and ice cream in the back side of the restaurant. This place was ok. There wasn't anything that stood out from other buffet places. There wasn't a wait and the waitress and hostess were super nice. They were very accommodating to my toddler. The food choices were not bad for the price. They seemed to have more seafood dishes compared to other places. I would've gave it 4 stars had they had more food choices for kids. read more

The majority of the staff is always very polite and friendly. My children love this place, so we have been here quite a few times. A few days ago we went and I encountered a very rude employee/cook. He is a short Hispanic male with a tattoo on his face. I pointed out to a friendly worker that there were no food labels above the sushi like there normally are, in order to know what is in it. He pointed it out to the cook, who then began yelling and making insulting comments, not knowing that I am half Mexican and understood every word he was saying. He then walked around and stood next to me staring me down, as if the little guy was trying to intimidate me, as he began slamming the tongs down on the plates. I'm not sure what his deal was, but his attitude did not match that of the other employees there. If it wasn't for this employee, my review would be much better, because the other employees are very polite. read more

Typical of buffet restaurants, the food is all about quantity, NOT quality. I tried several non-seafood items (from the look of things didn't want to risk illness eating the seafood). Food was bland and tasteless, most meats were battered and in a sticky sweet sauce. Even the fried rice and lomein were lacking taste, seriously easiest things to make and weren't worth the calories. Very good for the price. Been coming to this place for almost 2 years now. Buffet places usually deteriorate with ago but this place has kept their food quality as good as when they initially opened. We are crab lovers so we go there on Fridays or Saturdays during crab season. After we have our fills of crabs, we will try the other items on the buffet table. Everything is good to very good and they keep bring fresh refill trays. The only complaint are the oysters. Consistently smells very fishy. This has been happening in all the Chinese buffet places. The food was fine as far as American Chinese buffets go, but my mom and I received very poor customer service during my first visit. My mom ate here just a few days before and she had told me the green beans were cooked perfectly (she would know since it's one of her favorite Chinese dishes). But during this visit, they were cooked very inconsistently and were either undercooked or soggy with no in-between. When we apologized to our waitress for not finishing our green beans, my mom also mentioned that they were undercooked this time. Soon after, a manager ran out to tell us that it's absolutely impossible the green beans were undercooked and even tried one in front of us to "prove us wrong." It was very off-putting and condescending. EDIT: We received a very thorough genuine apology during my second visit, and added 2 stars to my original rating. Weekend buffet may increase if seafood is served on the bar such as snow crab legs and blue crab during the day. I use to drive to their sister restaurant near the mall off of 820 and Pipeline. This Place is great!!! I have a ton of food allergies, when I spoke to Lily about it she kindly showed me what I could eat and what to avoid. Lily went above and beyond to assist me, she was able to get me customized dishes without oyster sauce. I'm throughly impressed the service. For me going out to is like walking through a mine field sometimes especially with Asian cuisine due to my seafood and tree nut allergies. Overall, it's just like your average buffet. But it's the only one on this side Of town, so it's convenient for a lot of people. The environment here is very friendly! Once you walk in, they greet you and they greet you once you leave. The whole place is very spacious, they have multiple "dining rooms". Food wise, the food is very generic and it's exactly what you expect when you go to a Chinese buffet. The fruit here caught my eyes, at how big the orange slices were and they looked fresh.
