Today we came back to Asian buffet during lunch time on a Thursday. It's about $33 for two with a drink. Not bad. Service was good as usual. The guy asked us if we wanted to refill our sodas multiple times. Table was clean. Again I stand by my recommendation of going for the Mongolian grill which is in the back. You'll at least have one plate of fresh food and some protein. I always have one when I go here. They accept cash tips. I usually get the noodles, shrimp, green bell peppers, eggs, mushroom, oil, garlic, pineapple etc. maybe skip onions since sometimes it has that weird smell or taste. I always finish my Mongolian plate. Everything else can be hit or miss. I liked the egg drop soup more this time and I didn't notice the wonton chips being stale. No salt needed. Maybe they do read the reviews! Reminder to skip the green onions as they're a bit strong. The corn was also more palatable this time than last. The cream cheese wontons are usually a hit for me. Most of the other Chinese food was okay this time. A lot of the chickens and stuff were a bit hard. The Mac and cheese wasn't too bad. For dessert I did get the apple pie with a little vanilla ice cream. I saw some Bavarian cream stuff that was nice. Got some fruit. I followed one of their fortune cookie advice and I feel like it was very nice. However I think I found a fortune cookie that was just a cookie and no fortune cause I went to go read his but there was no paper in there. Very surprising. Overall, I wouldn't expect too much it's not supposed to be a fancy buffet. Very casual, stick to the good stuff since the prices are very low and only try the other things to see if it's good. read more

I don't even know where to begin. Briley told me to try this place, and honestly, I thought it was just going to be another average stop... but I was wrong. So, so wrong. First of all--oh jeez, these oranges are so good! I'm not exaggerating when I say I ate 20 oranges. Not 2. Not 5. Twenty. And I regret nothing. Now, yes, technically this is an Asian buffet. There was fried rice, noodles, dumplings, all that stuff--and yeah, it was great--but let's stay focused on what really matters here: the oranges. Perfectly sliced, juicy, life-changing oranges. At some point around orange number 12, I started having a moment of clarity. By orange 17, I felt like a new person. And by orange 20... I'm pretty sure these oranges fixed my marriage. Now, small detail--I'm not married. But emotionally? Spiritually? After those oranges? I feel like I was, and now it's better than ever. In fact, I think I might be married to the oranges now. And honestly... I'm okay with that. Service was great, atmosphere was chill, but the oranges? The oranges changed everything. Briley knew. Briley didn't even warn me how powerful this experience would be. Would I come back? Absolutely. Our family usually eat at this Asian Buffet, it's close to home, they have a good selection, I always get food from the hibachi; it stays hotter longer. They have 4 different soups, plenty of vegetable/meat dishes, sushi, dumplings, bean balls, noodles, salads, desserts and a variety of fruit. The service is good of course we go so often they know us. The restaurant is clean, they have several TVs to watch the news of game show. So if you are a party of 1 or 20 this is a good buffet to try. There's also an ice cream bar. read more

This place was just okay for me. A lot of the food tasted like it had been out for awhile. Not bad, just not as fresh as I would have liked. The service was okay too. I ran low on drinks several times, they eventually came but it always took a bit. My longest wait was for me check and when I am ready to go I am ready to go. The ambiance also was just okay. Nothing fancy, just that typical buffet that's been around a long time feel. read more

Huge restaurant with a lot of staff. They have a lot of food items available, just not the freshest rotation. The handles to the ladles were all pretty much sticky...maybe try to change them out periodically to keep them clean. Was an ok visit. read more

I must advise you to bring a bib- because you'll be drooling when you enter the threshold of this immaculate house of food. Asian Buffet is my go to place when I'm in the mood for a buffet. They offer a wide variety of food, including hibachi and a sushi bar. The service is quick, and the servers are constantly clearing away dirty plates. The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of seatings for small and big groups. For the price, the amount of decent food you can choose from is hard to beat...what more can you ask for! read more

I've been coming here since I was 8 or 9 years old.. now i'm 20. It's one of my favorite buffets ever, definitely cheaper and you get your moneys worth. The ambiance, service and food is always good. They did renovated and changed a few things but they never changed the food, and I will always forever recommend this place. In my stay throughout my life, no server was rude and always kind. The staff is nice and the place is always clean! Can't wait to come back again. read more

I have eaten here a lot over the years. The server ladies work very hard keeping the tables clean of used plates and getting drinks. The food is ok average what would be expected of a buffet, Unfortunately tonight when i finished a plate of Mongolian beef and broccoli, mushrooms and green beans there literally was a plate of oil that covered the entire plate. Also on the last several occasions I had immense immediate bath room issues of diarrhea likely due to off temperature food. I have NEVER seen anyone checking for proper food serving temps. I guess the only way to eat there in the future will have to be the hibachi cooked fresh. read more

Wow. Just wow. How does this place have any good reviews? I can only assume that people who enjoy eating here never ever gone out. The food here is not just awful. It is inedible. I couldn't give you one item on this buffet that was worth anything. There is nothing Asian about this place. The food is disgusting. Be prepared to go through a lot of napkins. You'll need some place to spit this shit out. Don't be caught up in their "seafood" nights. Store bought frozen seafood smothered in crap is still crap. The crab legs??? It'll take you 20 minutes to produce 2 ounces of meat. How this place is open eludes me. read more

If I could give less stars I would. First they were so rude. The waitress seemed really bothered that we came in. The food was horrible, I honestly don't think I've ever eaten anything worse. It looked like it had been sitting under a lamp all day. I think I maybe had one bite of everything on my plate and I am still feeling sick a couple hours later. I decided I would skip the warm food and maybe grab a salad but when I went to the salad bar there was very little salad and what was in there was brown wilted pieces so I skipped on that also. After we ate they brought us the bill we handed them our card and she came back 20 minutes later saying they still have the card that they are having trouble with the computers it seemed a bit weird... We ended up paying 90$ and ended up eating very little food. We will not be going back. My step son said he and his girlfriend went and they were racist towards her and they made them pay before eating!!! Crazy that this place is even in business. It doesn't seem like it's up to health code standards. read more

Check your receipt! Upon entering we told them 1 Senior. She confirmed it back but at checkout they didn't apply the senior discount to our 3 party group. This is my favorite Asian buffet with good food and good service except this most recent visit we came Saturday shortly after they opened so the food was lukewarm bc the serving trays weren't fully heated and the sushi rice tasted a day old. But that's not the usual experience so I'll rate them based on past experiences. My favorites are the salmon, fried butterflied shrimp, calamari, and the chocolate mocha coffee cake. read more

In town on a work trip and thought I'd try this place. Friday night and it was not busy at all, maybe 15 tables were taken and that is at most. Server was great, although one time she scared the crap out of me when she jumped onto the other side of my booth to replace the napkins in the holder. I was not expecting that. The food itself was decent, nothing really stood out as being better than any other buffet I been to. The "hibachi chicken" was good though. The had small crab half's that nobody ate, I was hoping Friday night would bring regular crabs legs but not. They had a Mongolian area which looked good but I didn't eat. Place was clean except the walk area to the bathrooms where it had really sticky floors. It was ok, and I was not upset when I left but it's just like any ordinary Asian buffet. Sorry had to edit the review to add that the labels on the buffet serving areas did not match what was actually in that spot. read more

Excellent quality food and an immaculately clean restaurant. I tried for the first time tonight by ordering Togo and was very impressed. The veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly. Meats were tender and just the right amount of sauce. Won ton soup was tasty and good dumplings. Overall I'm glad to find a nice spot and will be back to sample the buffet. read more

Came here for lunch today. I was pleased the place was not crowded. There were same offerings as all other places. Nothing stood out on the sushi. I will say I was expecting crab legs but there were none. Maybe there's a particular day they offer them on. The shrimp was over cooked. Dessert options were not good. You can tell they don't make them here just premade frozen purchased desserts. Place is kept clean. read more

Where can I find a decent Chinese buffet place around here? Definitely not here. I came for the seafood and all their seafood didn't taste fresh. The little octopus at the salad bar seem like it has been sitting for days. The crab was so mushy. Crawfish barely had any flavor. Salt and pepper shrimp was ok BUT this is just another place that doesn't clean the shrimp before serving. Very gross! Waiters didn't come around much to take care of our dirty plates or refills. The chow mein at Panda Express taste better than this. At least put a little love into the food you're making. read more

My regular Chinese restaurant closed due to COVID-19, so we were in the market for a new place. The reviews for this place were great, so we decided to check it out. They only offer dine-in (buffet style) and carry out. The restaurant is very elegant on the inside and the staff was helpful and friendly. The food on the other hand was awful. One of our dishes came with pork instead of chicken. The rice tasted like it had a filler (maybe cornmeal) in it that made it taste bad and far stickier than fried rice should be. My wife's pork was good, my beef was mediocre. The egg rolls were good, but very greasy. I might come back to try the buffet, but no more orders to go. read more

Waitstaff has changed. Decor has changed. Ambiance has changed. Methods have changed. And most importantly, the food has changed! Peruvian/Indian cuisine ... and the new image includes but is not limited to the following noticeable positives... Their dedication to excellence is obvious upon entering the restaurant. Greetings abound. Additionally, you will be surprised by the facelift! Including its future purpose. It will excite you. There's an immeasurable level of courtesy exuding from all affiliated persons ... waitstaff shows a rare enthusiasm for customer satisfaction that demonstrates genuineness... and it's touching to see. The manager... well... he's destined for greatness. You'll make him an honorary member of your family... you'll adopt him... you'll want to have him become your best friend and lifelong companion You'll exchange phone numbers to stay in touch! This gentleman knows exactly what he's doing and he's brilliant at it! But the food... you'd be a fool not to go there 3 days starved and gorge yourself with more than just a taste... of everything! Lastly... I usually plan for about an hour per restaurant, even if it's crowded or if the service is annoyingly slow... but here? I would never have believed that I'd actually spend 3.5 hours in a restaurant simply chatting with the affiliated people... in full... each and every one... and not notice a second's passing. The staff is entirely different, and while the food is okay, it no longer has the quality or flavor it once did. The buffet selection has become noticeably limited compared to what it used to be, there were far more options under the previous owners. The layout also feels awkward, with tables positioned so close to the buffet that it's almost like dining on display. I preferred eating where I wanted out of the way of people coming and going from the buffet. It's disappointing to see how much has changed, especially since this used to be one of our favorite spots. I truly hope the new owners can bring back some of the variety and quality that once made this place special. Until then, we won't return. And a correction to my last review from several years ago, they do have red meat, just not beef. Understandable.

We sat down and went to see what we were going to eat. The food seemed fairly fresh. They had maybe 15% occupancy, so they were pretty empty. The pork steak was amazing g. Great flavor and cooked well. The baked fish was another great option I was enjoying. My wife enjoyed the fried chicken. I wait to reflect. These reviews can impact others decisions, the business, workers jobs. That said, I still like the chain itself, but I live in Hurst, 7 minutes from this location, but for nearly 2 decades, I have driven 30 minutes to south Arlington for buffet style dining, over this location. It all comes down to owners, and management. To me, if the restroom is unkempt, that is also the kitchen standard. These restrooms are worse than a truckstop or gas station restroom. Filthy. This trip, my issue was service. After getting chae for a $20, tipping the greeter, I readied a generous tip for the table server, telling myself this was going to be awesome. I ordered coffee. I enjoy a cup with my meal. With, not after. I chose a table, placed the receipt on the table. Usually a server comes up, greets, checks receipt for drink order. Mine was holding court with one family. Nice. Then checked the other 3 tables in my area, not even bothering with my table, my drink order. I went for a first plate thinking surely he'll check while I'm getting my entrée. Got back, no coffee. I'm 10 minutes in now. He was back a second sweep of his areas, including mine. I waited. He completely ignored me and my table. Maybe 15 tables in this section, 4 occupied including mine. How do you not see me? I asked the cashier if she could see if someone could get me a cup of coffee. She spoke with him. He nodded, went on cleaning tables as if to say, uh, no. When I feel up to it. Mind you they charge $3.95 for a cup, it isn't complimentary. I got up, told the cashier I would just remove the coffee. He never once came by my table to service it. The place was sparse, maybe 25% capacity, and for good reason. I would have been better off at QT. They have better service. I still left a $10 tip, which is 50%, because it's was my last trip to this location. I was reminded why I stopped going to this location years and years ago. It was awful then, it's worse now. The manager asked to speak to me, but I told him to just drop it. He's the reason the place is empty. Him and the franchisee. I did remind him that he doesn't sell food. Most of us own a refrigerator, myself two, and I know Kroger is a block away. He sells service and convenience. To fail at either is bad, at both is to lose a customer. I'm quite the home chef. I outdo them on everything they serve. I just felt up to eating without cooking for a change. I can't go back to this location. I realize I now have higher expectations for my hard earned money. Won't be shocked when driving by this restaurant, another business has folded. Won't be missed. Take care of yourselves. You tried to warn me in your 1 star reviews. I was being hard headed. You tried.
