Great hot fresh Chinese food! I ordered take out food and when I got there no one was at the front desk ( or in the dining room) and I had to wait about 5-10 minutes for someone to notice I was there. While eating the food at home with my family I had two hairs in separate dishes that I didn't notice until they were in my mouth. Needless to say I couldn't eat anymore of the food as I was grossed out. This restaurant used to be good, but now I understand why there wasn't anyone eating at the restaurant when I got there. We visited their takeout many times during the pandemic. This was the first time we actually were able to sit down inside and dine. The place is very clean and the lighting is soft. (Some restaurants have bright lighting.) The food was very good and they were very generous with their portions and large bowl of steamed rice. I had steak and green pepper. It was enough for two meals. After dinner the server brought two fortune cookies and cleverly cut half-oranges. The dessert was complimentary and just enough sweetness to end the meal. The place looks great with the new update. Clean! The won ton soup was amazing with all the fresh vegetables added. I had shrimp egg foo young and it was just ok. The pancakes were hidden by so much sauce that had little vegetables in it. Shrimp didn't seem to be too fresh and was a little mushy. A couple dollars higher than their competitors so would expect better dish. I would come back just for that soup and to try another dish. Service was very good. read more

I had my doubts about this place, but my parents selected it based on a recommendation, so I kept my mouth shut and hoped for the best. Maybe it's because my expectations were low, but I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty everything was. We ordered kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, seafood combination plate with noodles, and a side of steamed vegetables. They all came with a side of fried rice. In my opinion, the sesame chicken was the best, kung pao chicken was the second best, and the seafood dish was decent. I don't eat Chinese food very often and usually opt for something spicy. I would definitely order either of the chicken dishes again. The seafood dish sauce appears unappetizing like a horse sneezed all over it, but it was pretty good. My dad liked it, so I tried it reluctantly and liked it, also. For appetizers, we got egg rolls that were way too small with no meat, but they tasted fresh. The wontons were okay, on par with any other crab cheese wontons I've eaten elsewhere. At the end, we were presented with nicely cut orange slices served decoratively, an almond cookie, and fortune cookie. We were all pleased with the orange and almond cookie that complemented each other in taste for an end-of-meal unexpected surprise. Well my husband wanted some Asian food. So our 1st choice was under construction/remodeling, our 2nd choice was closed due to power outage. We ended up here ~ oh what a mistake! We ate here years ago and no one can remember why we stopped going. The egg rolls were ok but I wouldn't recommend. Cheese wontons tasted old and like they were cooked in old grease. The Hurricane beef was tasty ~ not at all spicy. The Mongolian beef was ok. The Double pan fried noodle w/vegetables was truly gross. Noodles were cooked in old grease. Went here with my fiance and kid hoping to catch a tasty dinner. Disappointment all around with our meals as they were poorly prepared. My shrimp dish came out and the seafood smell was overwhelming. My daughter's pot stickers were half done and bland. On top of that, the prices are quite high for the food that is prepared. The chefs specialty had beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops and vegetables in a savory brown sauce. The pad Thai is cooked just like I like it with minimal bean sprouts and veggies. My friends are visiting town so I had to bring them at least once! Collectively we ordered the chicken lo mien, 2 beef lo mien and an orange chicken. DISCLAIMER: if you order a dinner portion expect to share it. This dinner menu is designed to share it amongst your group and this honestly gives you a taste of everything! Now onto the food! The chicken lo mien was amazing as always. Soft noodles with the steamed rice side gave it an amazing flavor. Chicken was well cooked and the noodles were juicy! The beef lo mien was even better! The beef soaked its juices into the noodles and this give it such a meaty taste. The beef was cooked perfectly and was served generously. The orange chicken is one of my favorites. The chicken has a crunchy outside and a juicy inside. They glaze it generously and the orange peels included gives it a unique zest. Overall Asian Chefs works as a fast and filling Chinese spot. The food comes out quick and the service is always on point. It's usually quiet in here, so don't expect a loud dining area. Give it a try if your looking for Chinese! read more

It's pretty good and they nail it for take out every time we go. It's pretty busy when checking in, but the dining room is chill. Tonight we had pan fried dumplings, hoonnan beef and sizzling rice soup. The dumplings were kinda gummy, but still tasty. My husby said the beef dish was sublime! The soup is not their area of expertise. The veggies were raw and the cuts of chicken were very strange. The entire bowl was drowning in water instead of the broth I was hoping for. We have ordered here many times and the food is very good but the service is not. Unfortunately the people who work there must not enjoy their job. Every time we have ordered from here they have been 20-30 minutes past the delivery time and when I call the restaurant to ask if my food is coming and if it will be cold they laugh... but big surprise the food does come cold! They either need to hire another delivery driver or be honest about their wait times. Neither the lady on the phone or the delivery driver had the decency to apologize. Very disappointed!! I've dined here several times in the past 7 yrs and have also ordered both takeout and delivery as well. Although, I try not to order takeout or delivery as order items tend to be missing from the order and I have to go back to pick them up. With that said, the food was always so good and the employees were so pleasant, I was fine with the oversights. We ordered takeout this weekend. The sesame chicken was over cooked and it felt like I was eating chicken toenails rather than chicken. The lo mein was decent, but the shrimp was a bit rubbery. We paid by credit card. I always check my bank account after shopping and/or dining to make sure the amount is what I authorized. Initially it was... and then I checked the following day and it appears that $4.00 was tacked on that we did not authorize! We ordered takeout, not delivery! Before Coronavirus hit, my family and I ate at Asian Chefs almost every Sunday after church. We loved to invite people out for lunch, and with it's quiet atmosphere, amazing service, and spectacular food, Asian Chefs was the perfect restaurant for that! Ever since I tried it, Asian Chefs has been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. One of my favorite parts of Asian Chefs is the atmosphere. It's decorative, traditional decorations tie in with Chinese culture so well. Not to mention the perfect sound level for discussing business. Thirdly, it is a perfect place to bring your kids. Asian Chefs has a perfect atmosphere. Also, Asian Chefs has incredible service. The waiters are friendly and the bathrooms are clean. In the same way, the restaurant is clean. I have fallen in love with Asian Chefs' service. Most importantly, I absolutely LOVE their food. Firstly, their appetizers are superb. My favorite dish is their chicken lo mein. It's mixture of carrots, chicken, peas, noodles, and many other vegetables blend together so well. I believe that the food is so good, that they should have more than one restaurant. My whole family loves the food at Asian Chefs. You might have heard that Asian Spice has great food, but, by far, Asian Chefs has the better service, food, and atmosphere. read more

We've lived in the area for 4 years, but this was our first visit. I joke with my sons about the odd hand-lettered signs in the window and failing neon lights...joking that the people inside are signaling for help. Maybe I was right. The inside is worse than the outside. Missing baseboards, piles of...ground up wallboard?...under some (mice?)...torn and dirty wallpaper...even the red lacquer accent wall looks as if it has either water or heat damage. The gal at the register was nice, took my to-go order quickly. The waiting area consists of two torn up kitchen table chairs...the vinyl on the seats is all peeled off...jammed closely together. I had a very uncomfortable 10 minute wait, thanks to an interesting smelling man who spent the whole time on a very long, very crazy story. I was about ready to go out and wait in my car in the snow! The food: The fried rice is just rice, pretty flavorless. The Sweet and Sour chicken was decent...white meat...but, some of the nuggets were just breading. The "crab" wontons are really just creme cheese...but at least the wait staff is honest about that, even if the menu isn't. The Orange Chicken was chewy...texture was off, and the chicken was tiny bits...none really more than 1/4" x 1". The Teriyaki Chicken was okay. It was cheap, you get a huge amount, and it was not inedible. read more

On my 4th try, I get Asian cuisine.. they charged me an extra $4 for delivery.. said 45 minutes but was there in 25 (good thing because my nieces and nephew were STARVING), called with a follow up to see what kind of rice that came with the entree, AND my sister and her babies LOVED it... gobbled it up. Thank you for taking care of them when I'm a 1000 miles away, helping them get better, making my niece's birthday special and putting smiles on their faces.. Twice we ordered for delivery & both times the food was poor, my husbands sesame chicken had orange sauce all over it & sesame seeds and coconut thrown on it to try and make it seem like sesame - The Fried rice is dried brown rice & absolutely Not fried! My orange chicken had some fresh and the rest of it had old chicken they were trying to use up. The dinner size scallops with lobster sauce, says it's the chefs recommendation-had 3 tiny scallops & was all soupy and no substance to it! Even the crab cheese wontons were subpar! When I complained they sent new food but the same crappy Food !!! Yuck ! Sucks. We ordered a bunch of different stuff and everything was terrible. I was really surprised. Ate here a few times over the years and it was never great but it was decent. Tonight was awful. Beef with green pepper was tasteless. Kung Pao Chicken was watery, mushy and gross. Orange Chicken was dry and had no taste. Never had tasteless Orange Chicken before. Sesame chicken was the same as Orange Chicken with sesame seeds on top. Sucked. Fried rice was bad too. Thoroughly disappointing, crappy meal. Panda would have been way better. Yikes! Chinese food is something that I love in concept, but hate 99.9% of the time in execution. In general, the food is very poor quality and no amount of MSG can make it any better. I have lived in San Francisco, Honolulu & Denver over the past 10 years of my life and only had about a 5% success rate, if that, with Chinese food. Because of this, I had given up completely on Chinese food and didn't bother wasting my money on what may or may not have been chicken that I was eating. Fast forward to this Christmas Day. We were at my In-Laws house and Chinese food out at Asian Chefs was the course for the evening. I was a little scared about getting burned by another low quality Chinese restaurant, but considering the day, it was either Chinese food or no food at all. Asian Chefs was not only open for Christmas (bonus points in my book), but was bustling. The mood seemed pretty positive and the restaurant's decor was above average for the burbs. The service was good and we ordered a ton of food since we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Wow! This was some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten and the chicken and other meats were high quality. Honestly, I can't wait to go back to get more of their Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken. The lo mein and egg drop soup were not as great as the other dishes we had, but they were still better than most Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to go back. read more
