I've been coming here for four years, at least. Let me be honest about why.... Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. Yep, if everything else about this place fell to crap and all that was left were those wings? I'd still come here. I'd go as far as to appoint the Salt and Pepper Wings as being placed on my list of "Death Row Last Meals". I think they cost $5.50, and you get a huge plate of wings ( get it as an entree) with a pile of some sort of onions, and their S&P sauce.....try it. As it is, my boyfriend and I have had numerous other meals here, soups here....everything here is really quite delicious. I'd point some specific things out, but from Shrimp dishes to appetizers to vegetarian dishes to chicken dishes, everything here is wonderful. They don't get a lot of traffic, which worries me, since if they close I will never figure out what combination of seasonings they put on those wings..... read more

In the mood for some good Chinese food tonight led me to searching for a new place that we could call our favorite. We had tried another place close by, but when it disappointed, we were eager to see some good reviews. Ordered lemon chicken and Kung Pao chicken. Everything arrived quickly, fresh and HOT! They even took the time to Saran Wrap our soup and the take out container of Kung Pao so it didn't leak all over the bag. It's little touches like that that really make a difference. We LOVE his place! I have traveled extensively in China and Thailand and while this is not as good as what you find when in China or Thailand, this is very close. It is our "go to" for Chinese and especially pad thai. We love it. I have to say, we always do take out or order in - we have never dined in the restaurant - for whatever that is worth. read more

I will not be ordering from this place again. I ordered delivery came out to about $30 and it was even the lunch special ordered pad Thai some soup's and the chicken curry. This is probably the worst Chinese food delivery I've ever tasted. And trust me I love good food! The chicken fried rice was dry and nasty. Pad Thai had no flavor. The wonton soup put wayyy to much sprouts on it and only one dumpling gross. The chicken curry tasted different and definitely was not red curry. Anyway take my word for it don't order here! Absolute worst food ever! I don't know if the chicken was chicken and the won tons were chewy instead of crispy. The service sucked!

Fried, fried and fried. Do you like fried things? And no veggies? Asian Chefs deliver! Sweet and sour shrimp- thick battered shrimp with a side of sauce. Sesame tofu- tiny limp tofu with sauce. Craving Chinese on a Friday night and decided to try out this place close to home. Reviews looked good so why not? I liked the decor and the vibe but it was not very busy. The food looked good on other peoples plates so we were encouraged. Started with crab cheese wontons and I had the Mongolian beef and the GF had Moo Goo Giapan and we split a hot and sour soup. The wontons had a hint of crab but mostly cream cheese stuffed in preproduced wonton shells. The H&S was a little dull with not much depth. The entrees were OK - beef dish was not overly peppered and had lots of onions, the vegetables were fresh with the chicken. Overall they were pretty good and flavorable. However, the entrees tasted so much better the next day. The service was extremely slow in a place that was only a quarter full at most. I think we will stick with Asian Spice in the neighborhood. Too bad we were just spoiled with Peking Tokyo in the old 'hood. Other places are just second best, especially in the crab cheese wonton department. We may go back to try the salt and pepper wings since that seems to be the recommendation from fellow Yelpers. read more

My wife and I really enjoyed the food. I ordered the combination fried rice, and it was so good that I didn't put any seasoning on it.

Especially liked the salt and pepper wings. Luncheon pricing reasonable. Real chicken in the fried hot and spicy chicken was nice, although the chicken was neither hot or spicy. Food is pretty average Chinese although we did see they use fresh veggies. Decor is tired, bathroom dingy. It has to be difficult to run a family restaurant. Give them a try, as they are putting forth a sincere effort in the food. Maybe better for delivery. read more

We ordered orange chicken and seasame chicken for dinner last night and was disappointed. They both looked exactly the same, sitting in a pool of sauce( which appeared to be the same) and was over cooked. They were both very bland and the chicken tasted strange. The low mein was ok, and the fried rice was decent, but for almost $40 with tip I'll probably never order from here again. Just my opinion though! I have been ordering from here for over 8 years. I placed my order online and then was called for my credit card. I did notice that it charged a delivery fee which I was fine with as I understand the prices of gas. When the driver showed up he handed me my receipt and I tipped 15% on delivery. He then looked at the receipt with disgust and said ," you're only tipping me three dollars? " ( my bill was $27.50) I was completely appalled. I said I had a delivery charge on there already so I was tipping an additional 15% and how completely unprofessional his comment was on getting a tip. Mind you he has always had an attitude when delivering and this is not his first comment. I have always given cash and been generous. I live 4 mins away and wanted to have delivery as I have small children and wanted convenience. I immediately called and spoke to the manager who was super nice and apologized for his behavior but this has left a horrible taste in my mouth. read more

This place is nasty Hot and sour soup was cold and tasted like vinegar water I ordered the sweet-and-sour combination there was only one shrimp they won't put any sugar or sweetener I was on the table and last asked for .The inside of the restaurant is filthy cushions or turn on the booths chairs need to be replaced the staff was lousy this was the worst experience I've had in a long time read more

I'm hard pressed to find a decent chinese restaurant in the Denver / front range area. Which is a shame because I do loves me some decent chinese food on a Sunday night. (Or as I refer to it, just food) I'm happy to report that Asian Chefs has some pretty tasty options! I love their sesame tofu, the hot and sour soup is decent, their egg drop is tasty and their fried rice options are also great. The food here is pretty good and I was pleasantly surprised at lunch time. I ordered the shrimp with vegetables and the dish came out with the most perfectly cooked veggies and a delicate sauce, that was flavorful and tangy. Prices at lunch considering the amount of food we received were incredible. The two of us got a huge lunch for $16! The reason I give it 3 stars is that the restaurant's interior design is a little over top for me. It's covered in black, red and silver and really disorienting. And there are these weird red lanterns that hang over the booths and the tassels are right in your face when you're trying to talk to the person across the table from you. And the tea was weird. There was something in it that made it taste very unusual. It tasted almost medicinal, like Tiger Balm, and it didn't go well with the food at all. read more

This is my go-to Chinese place for delivery. I have never been to the actual restaurant. The salt and pepper wings and egg drop soup are delicious. I live in Steamboat Springs where we have no real Chinese food at the moment and when I come down to Denver to visit I love to get Asian Chef to get my Chinese food fix! I've dine in a couple times and service has been good. We get mostly delivery. They are very fast. They usually tell us 40 mins for delivery but we always get it within 20 mins. We used to have the food delivered once every other week for years. Tonight was the last straw. They messed our delivery up and would not credit us back, they told us they could have the correct food to us in 5 to 10 minutes. It has now been 45. Most of the food here is light and delicious but avoid the garlic shrimp if you can. It comes out as a pink sauce which looks kind of odd given the quality of their other dishes. The servers are delightful and I found them to be friendly. I've eaten in and ordered delivery and their food has been consistent. We've been going to Asian Chef's for several years. Used to go before they changed ownership from Columbine Gardens. I was nervous the food wouldn't be as good but they have impressed me. They made-over the inside decor and introduced some new items. They have the best sit-down for a Chinese restaurant in the burbs, almost kinda hip. Spacious and comfortable. The food is great!
