This was my first visit to Asian Grill after moving to Granbury 1-1/2 years ago. I went with a friend who had also never been to this restaurant. We arrived on Saturday, mid afternoon and there were only two other diners in the place. I ordered the hot and sour soup and the Singapore Curry Noodles. The soup was lukewarm in temperature and tasted okay but was nothing special. Not worth its $3.50 price. The Singapore noodle dish was fair but had very little of the promised beef, chicken, and shrimp. It was served in a pretty generous serving size. The accompanying fried noodle strips served with the tasteless red condiment were rancid/fried in old oil and tasted off/bad. The service by our waitress was not friendly at all. My friend sadly also had a lackluster meal. We won't be returning to this restaurant. read more

My husband and I went in for lunch. I got the cashew chicken and my husband had the Kung pow chicken. We both got the hot and sour soup with wonton noodles. The noodles were stale. The soup was cold. Next, we got our entrées. I would say both were marginal if you want Asian food in cranberry go to the buffet on Pearl. read more

We really love this spot. It's in an older strip mall on 377 that at first glance doesn't look great but it's clean inside with friendly staff and a decent amount of seating. This is the exact type of Chinese spot I grew up with as a kiddo so I love all the dishes. Usual order is egg roll, hunan chicken and crab Rangoon to share. Mediocre at best. Not much flavor or spice. Granbury seems to have fairly low standards for restaurants. Not bad, but not good.

Consistently good food with large portions. I have never tried anything there that I did not like. It's ALL very tasty! The times I've ordered take out the food was always piping hot even when I got home. read more

We had the lunch General Tso's chicken with steamed rice and wonton soup! It was great for a lunch special, good flavor and decent serving. Also had the chicken friend rice lunch which had good taste but was a tad greasy. Overall we would eat here again! read more

On recommendation of long time Granbury resident we tried Asian Grill for lunch today. Lunch menu options were great, and the prices very good. Meal was tasty. Seasoned well, fresh and cooked correctly. My husband would have liked heat spice level higher ( but he usually does). Next time he will request a bit more spice. Definitely will return. read more

Lived here for two years and was curious, also pregnancy cravings! So I ordered the rice noodle house special with chicken, beef and shrimp it was very good and plentiful. My husband had the sweet and sour chicken it was a little overcooked but it's okay. Fried dumplings were good too. We will be back hopefully to try something new! read more

I think this restaurant is completely underrated. It definitely does not have an attractive storefront but if you are looking for a really good non-buffet Chinese restaurant, it is well worth the try. We have lived here 5 years and only recently tried it. Before writing a review, I went back again to make sure it was as good as the time before and it was. I have had the Pad Thai Noodles (spicy but not too spicy) and the Triple Delight. My wife has had the Sesame Chicken and the Honey Chicken. Each time we order the Crab Rangoon which are made fresh to order each time. The food is really good! Service- eh - but I get that this is a family run business and it's not bad service, just one person running the floor and counter. We will definitely go back again and again; it's nice to have an alternative to the buffet on the other side of town. First time eating here. I had the lunch shrimp & vegetables with fried rice and egg roll. I added a bowl of hot and sour soup. Fried dumplings for appetizer. The rice was very good, not gummy at all. Huge shrimp and veggies were not mushy, crisp. The egg roll was not greasy, nice and crisp. The hot and sour was piping hot and not over spicy. I've eaten here 3 times, twice before Covid and again recently. I ordered the Thai Beef which was a little too sweet for my taste but the spice level 4 was on point. My husband enjoyed his Orange Chicken which I liked better than my own. I did really like the fried rice which was eggy and delicious! I have had the pad thai twice a couple years ago and remember really liking it the first time but not as much the 2nd time but I'd have to order it again to really break the tie. We quite liked this place, clean, nice and just overall good food. We had lemon chicken, Hunan duck, honey chicken and Generals Tsao chicken. All were quite good. Not saucy and not served with more vegetables than the meat. Refreshing for that. We enjoyed it, I think you all will too. read more

Solid Asian place with a Chinese emphasis. The noodle dishes are typically the best, and the curries are decent. The Chinese-American favorites are done pretty well, but some of sauces are obviously store-bought. Call it a coincidence, but there has always been an Asian restaurant next to Green's Pets. Remember Song Hay's? And I think there was one after that, and now Asian Grill... For real, though. Asian Grill is one of the best Asian joints here in Granbury! Nice, broad menu, with Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and more. The food is very fresh and flavorful, and the prices are GREAT. This is a favorite lunch spot, during the week. Wish they were open on Sundays, but kudos to them for giving the crew a break. The Pad Thai is great, as is the moo goo gai pan. The fried rice is good, and also their soups. Are they Miyako? No, but they aren't trying to be. Very clean restaurant, too. WAY better than the Chinese buffets. The Crab Rangoon was crispy on the outside with a perfectly mixed filling of cream cheese, crab, and chives. We have been here twice now, and this time was even better! Ordered Chicken Moo Goo Gai Pan, Beef Lo Mein, Chicken Lo Mein, Egg Rolls and SS Chicken. All excellent. The white wine sauce was very good with fresh garlic. Fresh vegetables! Hot, fresh and generous portions. The sweet sour sauce was best I had in years. Menu was modern but many old school (Cathay?) items too like Chow Mein and brown sauce dishes like Beef Broccoli.
