The food is delicious and the service outstanding. The chef even came out to ask how we liked the food. Highly recommended!

N3. Drunken Noodle, ordered w extra veggies, no protein.
    Joy S.

Great Place!!! I got the drunken noodle, with extra veggies instead of protein. Delicious dish, cooked well, slightly less of a sweet sauce in comparison to other drunken noodle. Large serving which I finished in one slow sitting, as it was my first meal of the day at 5 pm. Got a Thai iced boba tea which was one of the best Thai teas i've ever had, not too strong and instead creamy and balanced. Waiter was pretty attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. The only thing I noticed is that they offered to refill another tables complimentary onion soup, but never offered to refill mine, even after I was done and very clearly sat it at the edge of my table ready for a refill. Hence, my removal of one star. No check ins at my table for that, so I waited patiently until my dish was brought instead. Also, no peanut sauce for the spring rolls, which I had read there was off what I assume is now an old menu online. So I decided not to order them. But no peanut sauce in the whole building? it's Thai food!!! Now that's Crazy. Quaint little place. Booth seats were NOT busted open as far as I could tell, which is always a plus. Comfortable environment, great dish. I got out of there with a $25 - $29 bill after tip, although I can't remember exactly. Would have liked an extra cup of onion soup, and for peanut sauce to be available on the menu for spring rolls. Nonetheless, excited to go back!

Yellow curry, white rice with seafood!

They really are giving it 100%. A Chinese man bought this restaurant and moved here from California. He was unfamiliar with the area, but he knows how to cook well and treat customers. This is a nice alternative to your typical Stephenville home cooked Texas supper. Something different, with Asian spices and a rather interesting menu. I have the yellow curry with Seafood, and was knocked out with the great flavor, the tremendous amount of seafood in the broth, and there was enough left over for another meal back at home. We strongly recommend the Asian potstickers, too!

E4. Mixed Vegetables and beef with a side of fried rice.

We give a 5 star for the food. My wife and I have been here 3 times. My wife has had the druken noodles with chicken and I've had the mixed vegetables with beef and the side order of fried rice. The portions are quit large. We've also had the fried icecream which was absolutely delicious. The entres we've had, have always been the same, only because we enjoy them so much. When we get our fill of the same items, we'll venture into the other items on the menu. We give a 5 star for the owner. The owner is very friendly and is the person who cooked our food. He may be the person who does all the cooking. He definitely knows what he's doing. The proof is in the taste of the food. We give a 3 star for service. The times that we've been there, there's only been one person waiting on the customers but they've all been great. The owner has been having a little difficultily finding people who will work. I had a chance to talk to one waitress and they were quite happy with the owner and some of the perks he was giving them, like cooking them meals to take home for the evening. So, if you know someone who is willing to be a part of helping with the growth of this great restaurant, drop in and talk to William, he's the owner. We give a 5 star for cleanliness. The restaurant is very clean, with a nice decor and plenty of seating. We've been there both, on the weekend and also on a weekday and didn't have to wait to be seated but that was probably due to being such a new restaurant. Drop by and have a bite, if you get a chance. You'll be glad you did!!

Ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box. The chicken was incredibly dry and the fried rice was the worst I've ever had. Will not be returning.

We started with the complimentary broth soup as an app - it was delicious. The owner came by and spoke with us for a couple of minutes. Very pleasant woman. We wish her a safe trip back to Thailand! We both had the curry - my wife had the red and I had the massaman - both were amazing! The portions were generous and the ambiance was a great vibe. We will most certainly be back!! Outstanding !!

I can see why the ratings for Thai Garden Cafe have one down a bit. I went today for the first time…read morein awhile with my son. The service is still very good. The ambiance s the same, but the fd quality has one down some. They are using a lot of cabbage. I have never seen cabbage in pad Thai before. doubt I ever will again. It seems they are trying to stretch the food out and giving smaller prices and still raised the prices. I paid over 80.00 for a single appetizer my son and i shared, a single soup we shared and 2 entrees. 1 hot tea and 1 soda. With portions smaller than they were before it really didn't seem worth it especially since I am not a huge fan of cabbage and it was in everything. What happened to the mushrooms? It was bad enough when I could barely ever get there because of their hours, now it seems I don't care if I can or not. I really wish Cleburne could get a decent Thai restaurant that stayed open for dinner and had good portion sizes. I mean really how much are some noodles and some tofu? Not 80.00 I can tell you that. I could have bought the ingredients for what we ate today for less than 20.00 and I don't even get a discount on food. I was quite shocked when I saw the bill. Sorry I forgot to take pictures We had the Tom Kha, the Drunken Noodles, the Pad Thai, and the mixed Appetizer plate. The pics on their menu are a little deceiving. The mixed appetizer plate look like they are going to be egg roll size or even spring roll size, but they are about 1/4 that size even though 3 of them are supposed to be spring rolls. They are very good though. Just thought you would get a lot more for 14.95. Just very disappointed, I use to really like this place.

For reasons I still cannot fully explain, Temple has developed a remarkably strong culinary scene…read more Italian, Mexican, and Thai cuisines are represented there with a level of quality, flavor, and aesthetic presentation that consistently exceeds expectations. I have previously written reviews about Pignetti's and Las Marias. Today, while driving back from Houston to Abilene, I stopped at Thai Café in downtown Temple. What an experience. Moni handled my order, and within minutes, my food was ready. I ordered the summer rolls and the crab noodle soup. The rolls, at first glance, resemble the standard versions you might find at HEB, Kroger, or similar grocery stores. However, what these very thoughtful chefs have done is elevate the dish with a distinctive dipping sauce and the addition of fresh basil, which transforms the rolls into something vibrant and unexpectedly complex. The flavors truly open up in a way that feels intentional and refined. But the real highlight was the crab noodle soup. It made my entire day. Thai Café is about three hours from my home, and I would genuinely consider making that drive on a Sunday just for this bowl of soup. The portion was generous, with abundant crab and noodles, and the broth was rich, layered, and deeply satisfying. I ordered it mild, but to my palate it was not spicy at all. Next time, I will not hesitate to ask for the full heat. If you find yourself in Temple, Thai Café is not optional. It is essential.

My friend got steamed vegetables with rice, and the vegetables were unappetizing and bland. We got the mango sticky rice for dessert, which I am normally a big fan of. This one was coloured green, which already threw us off as it looked radioactive or poisonous. The taste was not great either. I've had a lot of mango sticky rice, and this was probably my least favourite of them all. Service wise, our server was friendly but forgetful. She gave us one bill for our table, which we didn't expect because we were evidently three friends, and usually the norm would be to split checks. I didn't see any signs or note in the menu that they don't split checks, so we all thought it was bizarre that she just brought one bill for the table. This is a nice place to sit and chat with friends though as there is plenty of seating and a warm ambience.
