I was tickled by this little find that was close to the harbor and my hotel. When I talked in a woman was attacking a huge amount of fresh green beans on the table which I took to be a good sign and I was right! The food is fresh and took about 10 mins to prepare as promised. Service was friendly and helpful. She answered questions about the size of dishes and brought out bowls to show me the difference between small and large. I overheard her on the phone patiently explaining the types of veggies in a dish in detail. I have a lot of food in this one order but if time permits I will come back before I leave Baltimore.

I've ordered from Asian Harbor a few times and they exceed expectations every time. The portion sizes are filling and the sauce is so flavorful. The tofu was also a nice crispy texture and I loved every bite. 10/10 meal :)

Great, cheap sushi! Ordered takeout and the combo is a great deal. Delivery was right on time for what it said on Grubhub. The salmon avocado was the best, the salmon skin was a little more hard than crispy. Got a spicy mayo side for 75 cents and that was definitely necessary. Would order again

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! I am Chinese and ashamed that these people consider themselves a Chinese restaurant. I ordered the chow mein combination dinner, and it turns out these are not noodles! I was just appalled - google "chow mein" and that's what you get! When I called, this is what the restaurant said: Them: There are no noodles. This is the east coast, and we call this chow mein, but on the west coast they call it chop suey. So, it's really a chop suey not a chow mein. If you want noodles, you should order lo mein. Me: If it's chop suey, then call it chop suey! I have been to every state on the east coast, travel about 3,000 miles/week, and you are the ONLY Chinese restaurant to call this chow mein instead of chop suey. Them: Well you ordered under the entrees menu, and the noodle dishes are under the noodles menu. Me: Lo mein is also under the same section as the chow mein in the combinations section, so does this mean lo mein are not noodles? Them: No, lo mein is noodles. Does anyone else see the fault in their logic? If noodle dishes are only under the noodles menu, then lo mein needs to be removed under the combinations section as well. Thankfully I ordered via yelp's eat24 system, so I was able to get a refund on the entree. So, don't order from the restaurant directly in case it's wrong! Furthermore, the rest of the food was terrible. The shumai was sour (who knew this was possible?), and the egg drop soup was so gelatinous it stuck to the spoon. The soup was very difficult to eat, it was so sticky. The fried rice was dry and bland. The shrimp in the chop suey was dirty and not deveined. My delivery was 25 minutes later than promised & did not contain chopsticks as requested. The driver called because he read the wrong address. I also had put my hotel's name in the instructions, so I suppose he failed to read that too. If you have the information, cross check! The meal comes with a salad. When I took a quick glance in my bag, I said to the driver, "I didn't order salad!" He said, "You ordered a dinner right? It comes with it." I should've known this was my first omen. What Chinese restaurant includes salad in a dinner meal??? An egg roll, sure, but salad? Definitely a highly Americanized restaurant! Great Chinese food. The egg drop soup was the perfect color, consistency, and taste. Simply delicious. The Shrimp Lo Mein also excellent! I couldn't get enough. The orange tofu and fried rice was also good. I was very disappointed by the Volcano roll. The spicy mayo sauce just ruined it. Plus the sauce covered the fish so I couldn't see it to know how fresh it looked. The side salads were a great bonus with the order. I'd give them four stars for the Chinese food. What was I expecting with the sushi? I shouldn't have ordered it from a Chinese-Thai restaurant. read more

All I've tried is the yellow curry chicken, E-4 on the take out menu, and it was NOT any type of Thai curry I've ever had. Pretty bland, mostly chicken and onions with a lil carrots n peas mixed in. Curry should be done well if you're going to claim you serve Thai, but I guess that's what I get for ordering from a sushi/Japanese/Thai place. Price wasn't great ($9) for a "large" order. read more

I am hooked! I live in the Canton Highlandtown area and they deliver sushi and Thai to me!!! The sushi is great! I can always order a little bit of everything. Thai, sushi... or if my boyfriend is craving some chinese we get the General tso's They have all their bases covered and I often find myself craving it. Which speaks for itself! read more

Probably the best chinese food that delivers in the canton area. Reasonably priced and good size quantities. Have tried other places and they don't compare. If i'm getting chinese delivered i'm always getting asian harbor. Big fan of the general's chicken and the hot and sour soup. read more

I ordered delivery of Orange Chicken today- the sauce is very good but the chicken quality is not. I'm not a fan of dark meat and almost all of the chicken is dark meat. Had the meat been better quality, the texture and the sauce would have made it great. read more

This is THE goto place for good American style Chinese takeout in Baltimore. Food is good, cheap, and fast. The staff is also very friendly. Is there another Chinese takeout on the planet with a friendly staff? If so, I have yet to find it. The old man who delivered my food offered to be my grandfather. Eat the crab rangoons. read more

I love Asian Harbor!!!! I get their vegetable spring rolls and a tofu dish each time. It's all really fresh and flavorful. When the delivery gets here it's always still really hot! Their donuts are also REALLY good!! So fluffy and fresh. Yum! Their food is really affordable, too, with large portions that are perfect for leftovers. read more

Who knew a small storefront on the border of Little Italy and Jonestown would have such good Asian food take out! You can be fooled by the worn imitation grass covering on the steps but it's Baltimore, so you never know. I've ordered several of the curry dishes and the beef chow fun noodles. Today I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken which didn't exactly turn out as expected but was still quite tasty. As a home cook, I know enough that the woks need to be seasoned and my several take-out lunches so far have not disappointed. The food has been fresh and quite tasty. Nina is the cashier person, speaks perfect English and was delightful to talk with. Check out their online ordering which is what I did today. I also liked the options for my lunch special so that I could choose between egg roll, soup or soda. Nothing tastes better than a bubbly beverage with good Chinese take out. Will be back! read more

Ordered General Tso chicken for delivery online. Very convenient, plus the delivery guy was fast and very friendly. The food was excellent. Big chunks of chicken, not like those places that sell breading with a hint of chicken. Perfect sauce to chicken ratio: my chicken was not drowning in sauce. Someone else further down mentioned that this was really spicy. Maybe things have changed since then but the spiciness was definitely perfect. Definitely not as hot as the stuff I get from Thai Arroy which is fine, because thats not what I was looking for. This will definitely be my go to for asian take out from now on. Just wish they were open later! read more

I was a little nervous about ordering from here after reading some of the reviews. However, I noticed that the most recent reviews were more positive, while earlier reviews seemed to be more negative. I was really happy with the Chinese takeout we ordered! We had been looking for a delivery place nearby, and received their flier. We ordered through their website (super convenient!) and the food was at our door in ~40 minutes. We ordered dumplings and egg rolls, which were passable. We also got the General Tso's chicken, which was really good-- very spicy (a nice change from many restaurants!). We also got Chow Fun noodles which were really delicious with a lot of onions and snow peas. I would definitely recommend as a quick carryout/delivery place. It isn't as good as a usual eat-in place, but for the price was excellent! Would definitely order again. read more

I have nothing bad to say about this restaurant. Their delivery times are exceptional and the food always arrives hot. We have only had one error with Asian Harbor, and we have been ordering from them a couple of times a month for over a year (and that one error was immediately fixed - - great customer service). Their sushi is amazing and always fresh, and their dinner entrees are great. Very laid back about customizing orders and are sensitive to allergy concerns. The online ordering option is convenient and allows you to save 10% on your total meal price. I recommend their Kung Pao Tofu entree and their spring rolls. read more

We order here all the time and by "we" I mean our entire floor at work! I really love the combo fried rice, shrimp rolls, and egg drop soup! They're always so fast and have been very nice. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the Pad Thai but even that wasn't as terrible as some of the Chinese food restaurant's in the city. Repeat customer here! read more

This is the best Asian delivery I have found in Baltimore! That combined with late delivery hours and I am a repeat customer. I don't know why it only has three stars!!! I'm a vegetarian and was so grateful for all the tofu options and brown rice! This place is way better than the 5 star Asian carryout places I've gone to. Pretty decent Chinese take-out -- and certainly the best in Baltimore. We've ordered from Asian Bistro four or five times now (always the Chinese food - no sushi or Thai), and we've found the food to be pretty consistent. Tonight's dinner order (for 5) included Hot and Sour Soup, Pork Fried Rice, Chicken and Steamed vegetables, Pu Pu Platter, General Tso's, Chicken and Broccoli, and egg rolls. It arrived within 45 minutes, which is pretty on track with our other experiences with them. (Though it did once take a little over an hour to get our food.) All the food was fresh and hot. The order was correct. We got fortune cookies, utensils, and the usual assortment of sauce packets. The only negative (and the four vs five stars) is that they never make the spicy food spicy enough even when the highest spice level is requested. read more

Asian Harbor was a disappointment. Ordered 25$ worth of food (which was only a small broccoli, bourbon chicken, and edamame) - barely any even came. I called to ask why I didn't get some of my food - to find out that I did get it, it was just tiny. The food was standard American-Chinese food - but somehow bad. How do you mess up chinese food? Ask Asian Harbor. Overall - really not worth anywhere near how expensive it is. There are a million chinese food places in baltimore and next time I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Ordered takeout from here while in Baltimore for work. I was not impressed at all. I ordered the the chicken pad Thai and it was loaded with white onions. I've never seen white onions completely overtake a dish like this. It ruined the meal for me. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki sticks-they were ok after best. The best part of the meal was the wonton soup. It was very good. Overall, very disappointed. read more

First of all, the food was really good. My husband ordered a mixed seafood dish and nothing was overcooked! HOWEVER, we ordered on line and the food wasn't delivered for an hour. When I called to inquire about our order, the person who answered put the phone down and yelled to his co-workers, "This lady is bitch!! Wants to know where her food is!" This place may not win any gourmet awards, but it is an excellent spot for delivery with an extensive and diverse menu, quick delivery time and good food. The "healthy dish" was definitely healthy (but good) and the more traditional Chinese dishes were above average in flavor. Large quantities of everything. Tuna sushi was a little strange (ground tuna as opposed to pieces) but overall a good find. Will order again. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered delivery from here and loved it. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll, sesame chicken, shrimp spring rolls and some fried rice to go with it all. I was especially happy since we received our order about 15 minutes earlier than expected (we received it around 6:50/6:55p and were expecting it around 7:10p) and the driver was extremely friendly. The spring rolls were hot and crunchy, the sushi was good but did fall apart quite easily, the sesame chicken was still very hot and the broccoli had a wonderful crunch to it and there wasn't anything extraordinary about the rice. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely order from here again. read more

Terrible. I've read the other positive reviews and I'm mystified. I've ordered here a couple of times and I just havent been able to finish anything. Every beef dish - the meat is gummy. The dumplings are an unpleasant dough consistency. Anything with a salad in it has a strange, unpleasant taste. I'm sorry to be so negative but strongly recommend against. It just all has tasted awful so far. read more

One of the highlights (especially for families) is the robot cat servers. They're a hit with everyone at the table, from kids to adults, and they genuinely add to the fun without feeling gimmicky. The food is excellent and checks all the Izakaya boxes: yakitori, gyoza, and my personal favorite--takoyaki--are all done right. On top of that, they also offer sushi, ramen, and full entrée dishes, so there's something for every appetite. Drink options are just as solid, with Japanese sodas, green tea, and a good selection of Japanese alcoholic beverages. This is a great spot for the whole family and an especially awesome place to host a birthday dinner for teens.
