We visited Ping's two days ago and it was a disgrace what they served. How do you mess-up with beef Fried Rice. We come from Boston and have a Chinatown in the heart of the City. We know good food. This is the best Asian food we have found in Sarasota. Huge menu selection, large portions and great prices. The owner is very friendly and goes out of his way to make every customer feel welcomed. Quick service. Open for lunch and dinner. We introduced this into our office lunch rotation and it has become a favorite in which everyone orders. If I could give zero stars I would. Two hour delivery and the food was inedible. Chicken in the pad Thai was raw. Fried rice tasted like it was made in a burned pan. This is a delicious Chinese restaurant. Or heck as they put it Asian restaurant. Asian kitchen is a very good place to get either take out or dine in. It's not like a high-end crazy Chinese restaurant but it really stands out from other Chinese restaurants. For example, I would say that it's opposite is a place off of Clark called new York China restaurant it is disgustingly horrible. While Asian kitchen,Is clean and after you eat it doesn't make you feel like you're about to throw up. It does truly taste like authentic food by my standpoint. Even though I'm so white that I've never actually been to China and try their food to compare it to, I still think that it's seriously good. The people are nice, knowledgeable and friendly. Great first time here for a takeout meal. I had the Dragon and Phoenix which is GeneralTso chicken and spicy shrimp. Shrimp was fresh and done just right. Finally! Great Asian food in Palmer Ranch! Although you can get excellent standard Chinese food favorites their extended menu is really impressive as well! Tons of Healthy options, chefs choices and more exotic plates that we are looking forward to venturing into. Last night was the first time I ordered take out from Asian Kitchen. I called ahead and was told 15 minutes. Fifteen minutes later I walked in to see my dinner being brought out of the kitchen. I ordered Kung Pao chicken no mushrooms and chicken fried rice. Both were excellent and no mushroom! More then once I've gotten home from other restaurants to find I had to pick out mushrooms. The amount of chicken in the rice was more than in someone else's entree. Cashier was extremely nice and restaurant was pretty full and very clean. There was enough food for two meals, looking forward to lunch today! I will definitely be back. read more

We had our first experience of a wonderful dinner from Asian Kitchen last night. We ordered a sumptuous array of food ranging from the tasty Crispy Duck to the yummy Egg Rolls as well as the Chicken Fried Rice, Krab Rangoon and Fried Wontons as appetizers. The size of the servings was more than ample and more than we could eat. Everything was freshly prepared and cooked to perfection, making for a very enjoyable evening of fun and food. I ordered a combo meal that came with fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was excellent! They had a nice assortment in the stirfry - broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, snow peas and bokchoy. The fried rice which had small pieces of egg and pork was cooked perfectly! And lastly, this was the best egg roll I've had in a long time. It was light and crispy.
