We also ordered the 3 mushroom chicken, spicy garlic eggplant and pepper beef. Food came out quickly, hot and fresh, and the beef in both dishes was very tender which is never a guarantee in my experience. Few things they could improve on: they were out of the beef filet which was a disappointment as it sounded great. The XLB soup dumplings came with vinegar but no ginger slices. The eggplant could've used more spiciness. The rice came out a little hard but understand diff styles of preparing. All in all very small complaints and will definitely be back again. read more

Yug. Ordered delivery so I can't rate the service. However, the food is just ... bad. Americanized, syrupy glop. Salt and pepper fried prawns were okay, but no sign of the claimed jalapenos, just chunks of bell pepper. Hot and sour soup? Standard, except for prodigious amounts of black pepper, overpowering the other flavors. Found no meat in the soup, just strips of tofu. Spring rolls? Meh. No rice was provided with the meal, even though it's promised on the menu. How sad that the good and authentic Malaysian restaurant Penang no longer exists and this crummy restaurant occupies its former location. As you may have gathered, I was utterly unimpressed by the food from Asian Wok. Draw your own conclusions as to whether or not you should try it. If you enjoy Americanized Chinese (in other words, food that has no connection whatsoever to real Chinese cuisine), maybe you'll like it. I didn't. read more

Great new addition to northwest Cobb County. Good friendly service, new beautiful decor, extensive menu with lots of authentic Chinese menu selections both spicy and not spicy. We tried the Fish and Vegetable Hot Pot and Smoked Tofu with Shredded Chicken along with Hot and Sour Soup. All were very good but we'll need to try some of our other staple dishes to truly benchmark like seafood pan fried noodles, beef chow fun, Peking pork chops, honey walnut shrimp, and xiao long bao! My husband and I came here for lunch one day and enjoyed it a lot. Prices are reasonable for lunch and you get a lot of food. We loved the inside decor and felt service was very prompt. A classy, modern, and clean interior. We arrived on a Friday evening about 5:30 PM and were immediately seated. The waitress was friendly and took our fountain drink and appetizer (pork soup dumplings) orders. Our food was served fresh and was a good portion. I ordered Happy Family and my wife had the Mongolian Beef. The Happy Family has sliced vegetables instead of small diced cubes and the menu had many great photos to show exactly what your dish would look like. The flavors were good and quality ingredients were in evidence. The kitchen staff were having fun and we could hear them, which would not have been a problem except for the F*bombs that ruined the classy atmosphere of the dining room. read more

Find myself coming back her more and more often, which might make it my new favorite Chinese place. Never disappointed. The service is always good, the food is authentic, carefully made and delicious. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and not too loud which is also nice. Their wonton noodle soup is my new comfort food go-to. The wood ear mushroom appetizer is fire and the house tofu dish is also one of my favorites. What a lovely restaurant with a clean atmosphere and friendly staff! My husband and I just enjoyed a meal there a few minutes ago, and I felt compelled to write this review immediately. The food is delicious! Plus, the service is quick. I had the Braised Beef platter, which I would rate a perfect 10/10, while my husband tried the orange peel dish, giving it an 8/10. On a whim, stopped in for lunch when we saw a new Chinese place that claimed authentic plates. I got shredded chicken in garlic sauce, hot and sour and a spring roll, the lunch special. Soup was good, had more black pepper than I usually see in this dish. It was Good but wished they provided wonton strips. Spring roll nice but no dipping sauce. Main plate I guess uses fish or oyster sauce, not a fan but ate it. Ok. Wife got kung pao chicken. She enjoyed it. Not sure if I'll come back without a coupon os Some type. read more

Tried this new Chinese restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We ordered an appetizer and 2 main entrees. The service was extremely slow, and our entrees arrived before the appetizer, which made us think the appetizer order was forgotten. When it finally came out, the server just dropped it on the table without any apology or explanation. A few minutes later, the server placed 2 vegetable rolls on our table that we never ordered. We assumed they came with the meal, only to later discover we were charged for them on the bill. We also had to flag the server down just to get water. She took our glasses away and brought the exact same glasses back with water instead of simply using a pitcher. The food itself was mediocre at best. Overall, poor service, confusing ordering mistakes, and being charged for food we didn't order. Definitely not coming back. read more

Stopped in here after seeing the ad pop up in my Instagram feed. Very nice inside and very friendly staff. The rook into account my wife's shellfish allergy as well. The food reminded me of my time spent in China, it was very good and the memoried flooded back. We started with hot oolong tea and wonton in red chili oil. The menu was loaded and portions looked huge so we settled on thr lunch menu. I had the Szechuan double cooked beef and it was spicy and delicious. It came with hot & sour soup that had a nice spice and vinegar taste to it. Very good. My wife had the chicken and vegetables with thr egg drop soup and loved it. Even with the lunch menu they were good sized portions. If you leave hungry from here, its your own fault. Prices were reasonable.
