First time ever being to the outlets let alone an Asics store. I purchased a pair of shoes online and they were 1/2 size to small. I was going to do the return think by mail and realized there was a store along the way. (Actually I think returns are done via FedEX) Store was super easy to find in this massive outdoor shopping zoo. Just follow Google maps. Walked in with my shoe box and immeadiatly processed the return. Super easy and efficient. Picked out a new pair tried them on, paid and out the door. Quickest shoe sale plus return ever. There was a great selection of pants , shirts etc. but I needed to get going. Next time when passing by with time to kill I may stop in for some gym pants. Staff was very nice. read more

I bought these shoes for working out and they fit perfectly but after only a few months of usage the back heel of the shoe, the cushion part that cushions the back of your heel, the part that's at the top of the heel of the shoe, the cushion fell to the bottom of the back of the heel part of the shoe. This has never happened to other shoes of mine. The cushion part is now at the bottom of the shoe and it almost forces the heel of my foot up and out of the shoe now. I would never recommend these shoes to anyone. When I reported the issue to the company they denied my claim saying the shoe is not defective. I sent photos but it is difficult to see the issue in the picture because it is the cushioning that is inside the heel and it is behind cloth. If you put you finger on the inside heel you would notice the problem immediately. If you buy this product you will not only have have a bad product and waste your money but you will also not have a reliable warranty with the company. I would recommend going to another company. I'm in the ASICS Outlet store in San Francisco Premium Outlets on the weekend. The store is busy, and the workers look like a bit of shorthand there! When I walked into the store, the store didn't look as details as the other sports stores like Nike, Under Armor, or Puma in the same outlet mall. I can tell the store is slightly messy compared to the other outlet stores. The workers are all very busy behind the cash registers. Only one worker on the floor tries to take all the questions that the customers may have! I like the brand. But I can't find anything inside the store I want to bring home. I am in the store for about 10 minutes and walk out with no purchase! I may have a better experience on the weekdays next time! read more

Not only do they not answer the phone, they close whenever they want. My partner and I drive down from LA to make it before closing tonight. Online it says they close at 8, we walk up at 6:48 and they won't let us in. They don't answer the phone either. There were like three people in the store and I needed shoes for a volleyball tournament. Even the person at the door signaling they were closed was so rude, I wanted to ask about hours and what time they closed and all he did was repeat "we're closed" three times. Extremely rude and just an overall sucky situation to be in (especially after driving 5 hours). My advice, don't come here order online from a more kind and consistent store or retailer read more

My boyfriend and I each bought a pair of ASICS two years ago in Long Beach and loved them. About 6-8 months ago, my boyfriend needed a new pair so we stopped by this store. KELVIN was a tremendous help with deciding on which pair to get. He was really knowledgeable, kind, and honest with what my boyfriend needed and what he should get. We ended up leaving the store with two new pairs of shoes for him. Fast forward to today, I needed to upgrade my shoes from two years ago. When we walked into the store, we were greeted by two friendly associates. One of them was Kelvin and I was glad to see that he still worked here, because I wanted that wonderful help too. I also work in retail so I'm on my feet for at least 5 hours walking back and forth. Kelvin showed me the latest version of the current shoe I had and also recommended two other options: Gel Quantum 180 and Gel Quantum 360. Both were great shoes and the deciding factor came down to color. As we were checking out, my boyfriend noticed a bin for recycling shoes. You can drop off your shoes and if it's in usable condition, they'll donate it and if it's not reusable, they'll melt the materials down to make children's toys. The store will give you a coupon for 15% (I think) off your next purchase. I took off my old shoes, dropped them into the bin, and wore my new ones out. I had asked them to recycle my shoe box for me and he said I can't do returns without the box. I should have known that was a sign because I just realized my shoes are 1/2 size too small (100% my fault). The length feels good, but I have wide feet so that half size makes a difference. To conclude this review, this store is very nice. The staff here is very nice and knowledgeable, all of them! I love the Apparel from here and have picked up quite a number of bargains for both myself and my Husband. The store is small with all of the newer items displayed near the entrance with the footwear and clearance items towards the rear, staff are extremely friendly and helpful whenever we come in and really know the product they are selling. I visited this showroom to ask the store manager for possible solutions as my shoe has begin to tear from the front. I was very upfront that I had used the shoe for more than 90 days and now the shoe has begin to clearly show wear and tear. The store manager became defensive and started giving me theories on how possibly the tear could have happened instead of simply asking me. The store manager even tried to dismiss the tear calling it as a scratch and started arguing with me and one of my friend on why its not a tear and why its a scratch. At one point while the store manager was talking to my friend and I tried to speak up, he simply pointed his finger to me and told me "To Hold On" At this point we decided it was enough and there is no point taking any of the rude behavior who was clearly upset and defensive about something else. read more

I love ASICS!! I never had an issue with them in the past, but the last pair I bought were hurting my feet. I brought them in today and a wonderful associate helped me out. Her name was Elena!! She was patient, kind, understanding and helped me choose a different pair that would work for me. She explained that the other shoes were too small and that's why my feet were hurting, and she made sure that I left the store with the correct size. I usually wear 9.5 but it seems like I needed a 10. Truly was impressed by her patience, understanding, help, and how much knowledge she had. Had a very poor customer service experience recently. I went to return an item and the staff gave me a hard time about returning it unless it was the same credit card it was purchased on. I have never heard that one before. The stores around here have never had an issue refunding on another card. Problem here was the card that they wanted me to show had a last 4 digits that didn't match with any credit card I owned. After a lot of back n forth we checked our Apple Pay card's transaction list and the ASICS store transition was right there. When I pointed that to the staff they then grudgingly acknowledged that Apple pay transactions cause their store receipts to show a random last 4 card digits that doesn't match any credit card the customer actually has in the Apple wallet. If the staff had told us that earlier we all could have avoided unnecessary heartburn and arguments. The staff attitude was very dismissive and unhelpful throughout the interaction. I am never visiting their stores again. read more

Just had the worst service from you all. I'm trying to exchange an item that I purchased for my daughter at Christmas. It was to small and I need to get a larger size (a small to a medium) I was told that I need to pay the difference as it's no longer on sale. I bought this item 12/21 today's date is 1/16. Well with in the 30 days for refund. I asked to talk to the store manager she said I am the manager, Kealani , i would like you to know that you have VERY poor customer relationship skills. I wasn't asking for a refund. I wanted to exchange for a larger size. Same item just bigger. Again a size small to a size medium. Not a big deal one would think. You lost this customer, I will be sure to let anyone that will listen to me know of my experience with your store and this brand. Then to top it off as I was leaving the store she says to me " try to have a nice day". Some people are bothered by really attentive customer service, but I love it. I walked into the store on a vague recommendation that the shoes here had good arch support, but I literally had no idea where to start. Within a minute, someone approached me, more than willing to listen to my flat-footed problems and make great recommendations based on that. I must have sat and tried on at least eight pairs of shoes (walked away with two pairs on a great "Buy One Get One 50% Off" deal) each of which were patiently brought to me and properly laced by an associate working there. I was super impressed by how the two associates were able to juggle all the customers in the store while still making each of them feel super prioritized. It also doesn't hurt (literally) that the shoes are super comfortable and a huge upgrade from my old sneakers! read more

This outlet has a good variety of both the latest styles and some older versions at discount prices. If you love Asics footwear, this store is good option to potentially find some bargains. Keep in mind that it will not be the best bargain in town. For example, my mother found the GT-2000(2) here for about $99 (ordinarily $120). However, I was able to buy mine online at a footwear retailer for $80 less a 20% coupon code. My Mom's shoes were definitely not as deeply discounted as mine so I encourage you to shop around before coming here so that you have an idea of how much a particular style is selling for. Asics makes some great shoes but you should always try them on and figure out if the fit works for your feet. For example, I over-pronate but ended up buying the Nimbus 15 online. When I tried them on, they hurt because the Nimbus 15 shoe are for neutral or under-pronated feet. The store itself is small but they have a good array of shoes for men and women. I don't think I saw any kids shoes although I cannot be certain. In addition to shoes, they also have athletic gear. Sales associates are attentive and helpful if you have questions. This store is in the Livermore outlets which are extremely popular and incredibly crowded on weekends. It gets so crowded that they backup traffic and shoppers fill up the overflow parking by noon. I visited there today at 10:15AM to do a return. The supervisor explained to me that I am not able to return the items because I purchased it online and they do not have that models here. It was all good, I understand policy is policy. What I didn't like was that when I walked away he was making comments on people returning items among his two staffs. I was overhearing what sounded like "too friendly" sales talk with another customer, hoping that none of these "bros" approach me. Just my luck: one of the store clerks walked up to me, and blurts out "yo man, you got dog hair all over you." Not "good morning" or "hello" or "welcome" or "hola como estas" - all of which would have been a much more pleasant customer experience. I just want to acknowledge Jessica she helped me with a pair of shoes today and honestly it was one of the best customer service I have ever experienced. I wasn't exactly sure which shoe I needed for my feet as I have little to no arches, which makes it really uncomfortable to play tennis. All I want to say is Jessica went above and beyond to help me pick out the right shoe for my feet. She was confident, expository, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I needed a new pair of running shoes and decided to try out some ASICS. I braved the weekend crowd with my two young children at the outlets and walked into a very busy store not expecting to get any customer service. Within 5 minutes I had two employees ask if I needed help but was still just looking. After narrowing down my decision, Kel asked me if he could help. I told him the problems I had with my last pair of running shoes. He asked me to take my shoes off and walk in order to assess my step and made some suggestions. Kel brought me two styles to chose from and took the time to explain how the styles would work with my step, all this while dealing with many other customers. Kel's sense of urgency was amazing, as it's hard to find that quality in sales associates now a days. I am not sure how he keeps it up throughout the day with such a busy store. After making my decision, Kel took my purchases to the register and finished the sale. The only shoes that support my Franken-feet are the ASICS Nimubus. I came in to exchange the wrong size I got at another location and I was blown away by Joshua. He was exuberant, knowledgeable, efficient, and absolutely amazing at balancing multiple guests while assisting me. He got me the right size in the color I wanted most and made the exchange a breeze. The store was amazingly kept and he knew his inventory but always double checked when someone asked. I can't say enough good things. Asics are awesome... they're cushy, colorful and comfortable... I was happy that they had an outlet closeby. The good news? They have Asics (maybe the best running shoes) at substantial discounts. The service was cool, and they had lots of apparel to choose from. The bad news? Pretty standard stuff...
