I bought a $1900 custom laptop, waited a week for it to be built and when I came in to pick it up there was a different clerk and he gave me a laptop with cheaper parts and I didn't realize til 30 days after the mix up. The owner then told me there was nothing he could do as it's past the 30 days, because they get the laptops from MSI directly and after 30 days warranty is void. I'm pretty sure the clerk that I picked the laptop up from had no idea what he was doing and gave me the wrong laptop (or they just scammed me and this is the hustle) I definitely do not recommend this place and am filing a complaint to the BBB. Because when you buy a laptop with parts you should get what you paid for not cheaper parts. It's on me for having good faith in this business and not checking my pc diagnostics and just trusted they gave me the right parts, but shame on the owner and the workers because they know just enough to scam you. read more

I had a great experience here! I was travelling for business and lost the ability to access data on an external hard drive. I stopped by at 6:45 one evening and Salman and his team were confident they could tell me the following day if they would be able to retrieve my data. Not only were they able to diagnose the issue - they were also able to magically (to me at least!) retrieve all of my data. Worst place to take your laptop, do not take it here if you want to shit out money. Took my boyfriends laptop to get the screen fixed, Salmon ran a diagnostic on the laptop and said nothing is wrong with the computer it is worth fixing. This computer is worth 700-800$ and only the screen needed fixing. A week after getting the screen fixed my boyfriend is doing a report and it shuts down and goes black. Took it back to salmon he wanted to charge another 80$ for another diagnostic but told him no. He didn't charge me and he told me he would call me back in a few days. No call back, I had to call him. Told me something else was wrong with the computer and wanted another 300$! Do not take your laptop or anything here you will regret it. Salmon rips people off and just wants money. read more

If you are searching for trustworthy computer repair and service after the sale , I highly recommend ASN Depot. I had been looking for an update to my 9 year old HP Lap top. Went to several of the Big Box Stores to get some idea of what was available. Visited ASN Depot through a suggestion from a good friend. Salman greeted me with a firm handshake and a simple "How can I help you" request. He asked me specific questions about my computer use and experience ( almost felt like I was answering questions for say a Computer Dr.). Based on my input and his 20+ years of experience he built a computer to meet my needs and experience level, with space for "improvements" at a later date, all inside my budget. His focus was not on Making a Sale, but rather building a good working relationship As part of the sale the data from old lap top was moved to new.. Salman cleaned house while moving data as there was some no longer needed data in there. He did this ONLY after first telling me exactly what was to be done and clearing it with me. When I picked up the computer, Salman sat down with me and gave me a full tutorial on the use of this new unit. All questions were answered . I was told to feel free to call anytime I had a question . I had a problem a couple of days after sale. Called Salman, explained problem, and he said bring it on down and he could help me one on one. Took the unit back and immediatley the problem ( my end) was completely resolved much to my satisfaction. I feel I have the background and experience to highly reccomend ASN Depot Inc. Amazing Service! I walked in on a Saturday afternoon with a iPhone 6 that wouldn't turn on. I was convinced the port or battery needed to be replaced. I handed it over for them to troubleshoot the device. I got a call Monday afternoon that in face the port was just dirty and needed a deep cleaning no parts needed to be replaced. They easily could have billed me for additional or or services but they were upfront and honest and did a great job. most crooked people ever. brought in my macbook pro because battery was defected, they told me nothing else was wrong except that and it would cost me $600. i refused picked up my computer the next day, took it to apple and got quoted $199 for the exact same job. when i came home and removed my back plate one of these sloppy half asses destroyed my left speaker, and put duck tape in place of the wire connecting to the motherboard. never again will i ever return to such a scamming and crooked people such as them. and if you need a repair go somewhere else, otherwise you'll spend an arm and a leg ! read more

I guess that was his selling point but it was totally false. I paid $287 and got 0 files back. This local business in Chino Hills just gained a fan! I don't normally write reviews due to not having time to think and write. With that said, I've seen this shop for quite sometime and to be honest, I never even thought of going in. Not just with this store but with any non-commercialized stores. Because most of the time I buy and/or get my laptop fixed through vendors and IT services that my company uses or simply just buy things on Amazon. Long story short, Salman and his staff which I wish I got his name because he was very honest and saved me quite amount of money were very professional. I came in the store expecting to get my hard-drive upgraded to a much bigger space not knowing the high amount it would have cost me. After performing assessment and asking me questions about how I use my laptop, they were able to give me suggestions of what I needed to do. Though they sell parts and refurbished equipment and some are new, not once did they make me feel that I needed to buy anything from their store. In fact, they even suggested for me not to spend so much money on a hard drive that I may not need. Hence I ended up buying a hard drive with enough space for what I need. I really appreciated their honesty and their customer service is really good. I brought in my laptop on Monday and I was told it will not be ready until Wednesday. But today (Tuesday), I got a call and was told my laptop is ready to be picked up. I have to be honest, I walked out that store feeling satisfied and happy that I gave this local business a try. For those who gave bad reviews on this store, perhaps you might have caught them in a very busy state and/or maybe just have miscommunication or misunderstanding. 1 star is actually too good. I purchased a chromebook for a Christmas present on what showed up on google as a Walmart purchase. When it arrived it wasn't packaged in a box and there was a scratch on the back and a something sticky as if there had been a sticker on there and removed. In the box were instructions from ASN Depot saying if I had questions to contact them and not Walmart. I was disappointed to see it hadn't actually been purchased from Walmart but the Wal-Mart market place. I decided to return it before giving it as a present only to find out that I had 15 days to return it. It was delivered Dec 2nd , today is the 17th. At first the salesman said I couldn't then he responded by I have to postmark it today, tomorrow is too late. I went back into my emails for the confirmation of purchase to find return policies which actually said most electronics have 30 days to be returned after Dec 26 ! Not one place in that email gave me a clue that it wasnt a Walmart purchase or that there would have been an issue to return, or even anything to suspect that it could be refurbished. I finally read reviews about this company that I wish I had done as soon as it arrived. Since I don't even trust that I will ever get refunded I am reluctantly keeping it. But to warn others do not be scammed into doing business with them. I wonder if they really are affiliated with Walmart and if Walmart knows how they do business. read more
