The burgers for sure are great and fresh, too but the owners are unique..like country-Korean. I love it. I also love hole in d wall places with hand written notes. This place is legit. I'm not a sweet meat person but the bulgogi burger is delicious. I also loved the avocado burger. They had a funny sign: if you smile, we smile. If you're you get that in return. lol

They told me to call back 40 minutes before to confirm it was on schedule. Just the phone call alone was a five star experience. Very helpful and effortlessly funny, I wanted to be friends! We picked up our order at 1:10pm and sat inside to eat. Wow so good. I'm not even that into burgers but these were delicious! The charcoal preparation and the months long bulgogi marinade were apparent and appreciated. We got the bulgogi, the hot-dog cheeseburger, and the kimchi burger. We loved them all but if I had to rank them, that's the order right there! Ambiance is cozy and approachable. The flavor experience was so out of body, it was hard to remember where I was. We're coming back!!

He explained the IPA's for my wife and I was convinced that I would also enjoy the Italian Pilsner by his recommendation that was on tap. They were perfect. The music was also an excellent match for great food and service. The food was also excellent. As Trent told us, "people may like the beer, but it is the food that they will come back for" So true. We started with the Southern Fried Pickles...oh my...so good. And the accompanying sauces of BBQ and Ranch had flavor and were perfect for dipping. My wife had a cup of Beer Cheese Soup and a House Salad. The soup was great, but still not as good as Stanford's served in the day. The accompanying Pretzel Roll was so good. She was also enamored with the dressing for the salad. The Chef even came out to explain the ingredients to her. I had the Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich with French Fries. This was a sandwich I would not normally order, but the 3 cheeses, bacon and tomato made it so tasty. We will definitely be back as I have already told a few friends how good ABV is.

Added a side of baked beans 9/10 for both the beans and sandwiches. Great portion sizes, the sandwiches were overflowing with meat. The sauce to meat ratio was perfect. The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable. They also operate a butcher shop next door, which has become one of my favorite places to purchase quality meats--I plan to review that separately in the future. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

A smaller setting than I expected from a legend, this cozy tavern offers a comfort that can be felt as soon as you enter and see about 10 tables packed in plus the bar and its stools. Worn and aged wood tables, wood walls plus the bar all show the history and patina of good times. The menu is limited but covers meat, greens and beverage perfectly. I enjoyed a pint of cold Drop Top, and a Jumbo hamburger sided with oodles of tasty onion rings which was in itself a belly buster meal! Certainly, more than I could ever expect to consume in a single sitting. Our server was friendly and attentive. All in all, a solid 4-star experience! This initial visit would have received a 5-star review from me if the burger patty was handmade rather than the Whopper like machine pressed fast food puck.

I've never had a "Smash Burger"…read more Now I'm convinced that I don't wanna try any others. I kid I kid.... However, I'll rate this the best Smashburger I've ever tried. I'm giving it five stars, because to me it was perfect. Let me describe. The Bun 9/10 soft and fluffy, great flavor. The fixings 9/10 Strike sauce, lettuce, pickle, and if you choose American cheese. You could have caramelized, onions or bacon, added to it as well. The strike sauce is ketchup, mayo, mustard. Mixed perfectly. They have so many drinks to choose from. I decided to get the Mountain Dew pineapple apple so good. The service was excellent, friendly smiles, answered any questions that I had. Food came out, had a very fast reasonable time for quality to be met. This place is meant to have orders to go. It did seat around eight inside and had some seating outside available if you wanted to eat there. My overall experience 10 out of 10. I'll definitely be coming back. If you've been waiting to find or try a really good Smashburger, there's definitely no need to look any further. This little hidden gem is perfect to curb. You're cravings.
