So far so good. Settled in since I haven't been there since they changed which says a lot. Eventing is very straight forward and taken care of. Everything is stocked and ready to go. My home range is Yolo Sportsman's Association, but they're not open on Mondays and Tuesdays. So I decided to give ASP a shot. After filling out a quick waiver, having my firearm cleared, and handing over my driver's license, I was assigned a lane and ready to shoot. The lanes are clean and in good shape. All the staff I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. The gentleman behind the counter (Brian?) even let me try out the crisp Apex trigger on his own M&P. I didn't browse thoroughly, but the store looks promising too, with competitive pricing on firearms and ammo. Given my positive experience, I'm considering making ASP my home range for all future handgun practice. I don't give out five-star reviews often, but I honestly can't think of any improvements. Now for a few tips: - There's plenty of parking in the back, so don't bother trying to find a spot on the street. - If you go between 11AM-2PM on Tuesday- Thursday, lanes only cost $7 per hour. Been there a couple times, charged a buddy and me full price for sharing a lane. Also shells fly over the stalls. Not allowed to pick up brass or use steel ammo. Not as friendly as one would hope for, will not return or recommend. read more

The one star goes to the experience..the second star goes to my gun. I had a great time with my sibling but the workers the should be a little more pleasant mainly the girl was very rude no personality. The guys were nice and at least a bit talkative, being that it was our first time we were excited and in a great mood ready to ask questions and ensure we get the best experience I wish that would've included a better attitude other than that had fun. read more

Professionally run business, friendly staff at the counter, and excellent prices on everything from firearms, ammo, magazines, and accessories. Not to mention a pretty excellent indoor shooting range. Although the indoor range can get busy depending on when you go, it is such a pleasant experience. People actually clean up and respect each other at the range. I saw a couple guys sweeping ammo and picking up once they were done. You probably won't get that kind of respect and cleanliness at other ranges where some people don't even care. Here they care. Prices are a little cheaper here than other gun stores. G22 3rd gen cost me about $140 less than the other stores I've been to. Staff here are quick to offer discounts if you qualify. I wish they were closer to where I live, I'd be going here everyday!! I love this range! In fact, I live 45 mins away and I still prefer to come to A.S.P. over my local ranges. The staff are highly informative. The customer service is superb. The range fees are reasonable and they offer a discount for military and L.E.O's. I took a great basic firearms course with Brian and it helped me to feel even more comfortable around firearms. I have rented as well as purchased firearms from A.S.P and each transaction has been smooth. Every time we visit A.S.P we are treated with exceptional service. The owner, Jorge, is a stand up guy and takes the time to greet and chat with us when we visit. What a great shooting range. I went there before when it was Center Mass and had bad service and the place was a wreck. Now it looks great and the staff is awesome. They are so friendly and helpful. I love it that they don't treat me like I am an idiot when I ask them a question. They treat me like I am a pro gun owner just like them. Walked in here today and the place was a Lil busy...but Juan made time to help me. They have a very good selection of handguns including hard to find ones. They also had some long guns. I purchased a nice Glock. I will definitely return because of the great customer service, organized store and clean. They also have a shooting range. I've been shooting here since the range opened under the ASP name. This is the only range in Vacaville that I will use after having a few scary experiences several times at that other range near the freeway. The owner and employees at ASP are great in every way; professional and always cheerful. I bought a pistol from them earlier this year at a great price. My wife, who is a new shooter, is comfortable at this range and took a lesson with the instructor Brian, who is always friendly to us. Being retired military, I'm more comfortable around weapons when I know the place is operated and supervised by soldiers and Marines. There are a couple of things they could do to improve the flow of customers checking in and out of the range when it's busy, but they didn't ask my opinion on it so I won't comment further. I love guns and shooting but dislike most of the gun stores i have been to in the past. I always feel intimidated, rushed, and pressured whenever i visit one. Today, i had the most pleasant experience at A.S.P. I went in to ask questions on the new CA AR laws and I was answered in a very friendly non rushed manner. The sales man took his time with me answering any questions I had. Because of the wonderful service I received, I purchased my first AR, a DDM4V5. I didn't go to other stores to price check because I wanted this great store to have my business. The owner even thew in a lock and some shirts for me. All of my future gun purchases will go to these guys, and i will recommend them to everyone! read more

Did a PPT here and it was quick and friendly. They did have some excess paperwork and did not have a computer set up vs. some other dealers. It is hard to find a friendly place for PPT's. I've gone here 4 times in the last 3 months and had nothing but great experiences. Staff is friendly, chill and easy going and if you go right when they open you usually don't have to wait for a lane. I've only bought ammo here once but from what I've seen of their ammo and gun prices they are definitely competitive with others in the area.
