Came here today for the shooting range & traveled about 30mins. Arrived at 3:20 just to find out that they stopped taking people at 3:30. When I pointed out the time the guy said "yea okay, well we're not taking anymore". Maybe the business should update their webpage . Management contacted me via e-mail following the visit apologizing saying they would update the site, we're sorry about the inconvenience and suggested calling first. These guys were great, They helped me out with a PPT on a Sunday when other stores wouldn't... I'm not going to name names but the other store started with guns, fishing and other stuf*. I came in with a buddy and both of us were surprised with their pricing, out of four stores these guys had the best price on the Sig I was looking at (and by a good amount). I read some reviews and thought I'd go by and purchase a Glock 30sf from here as I was close by. I had my paperwork in hand to move forward. Upon entering, I was the invisible man. I patiently waited to be helped. Nothing. Granted the staff did have customers and I get it. However the turning point is when another guy walked in and was promptly greeted as I stood by the gun display case. I turned around and left immediately. I will continue to do business at Cordelia Gun Exchange. Jesse is about as friendly as you can get. The customer service there is second to none. C'mon guys, it's guns your selling. I have never owned a gun and I went here because of the ratings and it was the right move. I went in and they were very patient with me, they explained the guns and which suited my need. They did not try to sell me the most expensive gun. I ended up purchasing a M&P shield. Then the fun started.. I had an issue with my license and it kicked me back a few times. The team stayed patient with me and even offered me a refund for the troubles the DMV was causing me. I declined and we waited it out. I signed up for a safety course with instructor Joe and that was very useful. Finally, when I got my issue squared away and waited my 10 days, they showed me great customer service by allowing me to use their computer to pull one final form of Identification.. They never once rushed me, they were nothing short of top notch! I will continue to purchase from them and recommend people to them. read more

I decided to get back into shooting in the last 6 months after many,many years away. Heard from a friend about A.S.P. I went in a few times before I actually purchased anything. But every time I went in I was met by someone more than happy to answer my questions. At first I felt nervous being that I'm a chick and asking questions about guns felt uncomfortable! Ive got to say though not once did any of the 4 different people I encounter ever make me feel silly or out of place. In fact they took the time to answer my questions and always welcomed any more questions. They didn't want to just sell me a gun, they wanted to make sure I understood the mechanics and maintenance as well as proper use and safety. If you're new to guns, returning to guns or just looking for a great local gun shop to support A.S.P. on merchant in Vacaville is the spot! Clean lanes. Typically pretty busy. Call ahead for a guaranteed lane or gun rental or even better just buy a gun there and you won't have to worry about renting. Typically renting will run about $35-40. Their FFL transfer fee is about $100. They sometimes close at random times so either follow them on social media or of course call ahead. The staff are agreeable and knowledgeable. They are a Glock blue label dealer if you're MIL/LEO/ETC. They also do some minor gunsmithing sights installations for example but I'm unsure of the extent they go. Overall it's the best place in the surrounding area for any of your firearm needs. read more

The first time I was gun shopping and the owner told me he couldn't get me the gun I wanted so tried to sell me something else - really the hard sale push. I wanted to test shoot to see if I was willing to compromise and then was told it would cost me $40 to test shoot. ????? So I left and purchased exactly what I wanted elsewhere. The second time, I did my CCW training there (didn't realize when I signed up that the training company used that range). While we were taking a break, I was just cruising through the shop looking at ammo and stuff, and the owner was following me around like he thought I was gonna try to rip him off. Just another sleezy company trying to squeeze out more money from the already overpriced California gun market. And to put that cost on the California gun buyers is just trashy. It's pretty nice. I will go there again. They could probably use better airflow. Maybe it was just a hot day, but the air was thick with chemicals (powder) - if you have some respiratory issues you might want to take that into consideration. Try not to get the booths at the far right. You have the guy on the left's shells ejecting at you all the time and sometimes they are pretty hot going down the back of your collar. read more

It's a small shooting range with about 8 lanes (I believe). It was kinda of crowded when I went on a saturday around 1pm, the wait was about a hour. I was in here today, and I just have to say how downright disrespectful the staff was. The guy who actually helped me was great, besides that at 4:35 they already had all the guns packed up and said it was too late to shoot (they are open til 6). But the rest of the staff was just sitting on their butts not doing anything. A man walked in a bit before 5pm and wanted to use the range. They told him that it was too late. And he walked out. But, when he walked out, the staff started making jokes about how "he can go somewhere else and commit suicide" -- "I know, right? Just dont do it here! Haha!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? SUICIDE IS NOT A JOKE. And this place is owned by a veteran, who should be aware of how many veterans commit suicide every day. Plus, the man was perfectly kind. Nothing to warrant those kinds of comments. (Not that ANYTHING would warrant that) Unbelievable. read more

It's a very busy place and mostly focused on people checking in for the gun range. Borderline rude staff, had the feeling they are not interested in selling guns. Had 3 different guys in 5 min showing me a couple guns I like to see to decide what I want to buy. Not one of them explained anything about the guns. I'll start by saying that I've purchased five weapons from ASP and I shoot on their range regularly. When my daughter is in town it is on her "Must Do" list. My sons, both veterans of the 75th Ranger Regiment, and I use the range when they are in town and they always have a good time. I've introduced friends to shooting on the range and they've always had a pleasant experience. The prices are the best you'll find in the area and the staff has always gone out of there way to be helpful from shipping a rifle out of state for me to assisting in private party transfers and of course multiple purchases. I happened to mention to my wife that I'd seen a vintage pistol I was interested in that ASP had on consignment after stopping by one day. My wife stopped by on her own, not an easy feat for a retired nurse with little experience with gun shops. She was so excited about her experience with the staff at ASP that she drove me back to the store to buy the gun. I expect she'll be a regular window shopper. That's a great thing for me and a bad thing for my wallet. My point being, how often do you find a gun shop that can turn a wife that tolerates a husbands hobby into an enthusiastic supporter. It takes a special staff to accomplish a feat of that magnitude. One last point. If you want to shoot a long gun, go to an outdoor range. Don't blame a quality indoor range for your lack of research and leave a bad review because the best you can do is look at a logo. read more

Nice pistol range, Nice gun shop. Moderate selection with a decently knowledgeable staff. The prices are middle of the road and nothing to write home about. Staff aren't snobby, as with many gunshops. I came in to make a purchase on a Glock but was steered towards not just settling on a baseline handgun and got something I've always wanted (CZ75b). There are some gunstores you need to steer clear of but this isn't one of them. read more

My first time back at this location since being reopened under the ownership of Ammunition Supply Point Solano (or A.S.P. according to their business card) was an absolute delight! I've been coming to this location since 1999 when it was known as The Shooting Gallery. And after that closed down I continued to go under the management of Center Mass Shooting Range. And both had great management, staff, customer service, and facilities. And it seems A.S.P. is set to carry on the tradition! I received very polite service from the staff who were very cordial and didn't make me feel pressured or uncomfortable. And although the layout of the store itself has changed from the previous ownerships, it's still a much more open and inviting layout than Guns, Fishing, & Other Stuff which seems more cramped in comparison. And to top it off, the price for shooting here is even cheaper than it was under Center Mass. Don't know if they'll be able to handle FFL transfers as of yet, but I'll definitely be continuing to come here for my range time! read more

I used to go to this place when it was called Center Mass. And when they closed it really bummed me out because I'm not too big of a fan of Vacaville's other indoor shooting range. And quite frankly Yolo Sportsmen is awesome but a hell of a drive for a quick pew pew session. I'm a fan of the ASP retail location, and have purchased my last two firearms from them and have had superb service each time. So when I heard they had purchased the CM location I was pretty juiced. I love how modernized and clean the place is. Fair rates on range time, targets, ammo, and friendly staff. I'd highly suggest this place to all my pew pew friends and family. read more

I was able to test out the pistol before I made the purchase too (They didn't charge for the lane).
